The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

The food is incredible, and the service is very good. The staff are lovely, so quick at serving and taking orders. The tables are clean, have good condition, and the seats are excellently comfy. Five stars 🌟 🤩 ✨️.

Unfortunately this establishment does not accept credit or debit cards - not even for a large order totaling over £100, and we had to leave and get the appropriate amount of cash from a cashpoint before picking up our order. This is totally unacceptable in 2025. By all means charge a card surcharge if you wish, but to refuse to even accept cards is so last century. Even though the food was good, will not do business with them again until they join the 21st century.

Tonight we had Chicken Pathia and some other sundries, it was fantastic. So full of flavour with just the right amount of heat (I like mine on the spicy side) I would definitely recommend this takeaway, had many of their different dishes and not been disappointed by any.

It’s so nice to finally have a local Indian restaurant that delivers. We ordered a variety of starters and main dishes, es CJ portion was a very generous size, enough to have left over the next day! Also, the delivery arrived within the time stated and the food was still piping hot and delicious.

5 STARS ! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We have a takeaway from Droitwich Tandoori about once a month for the last 10+ years and we always have the most BEAUTIFUL meals. The staff are helpful,friendly and they remember you ! - even after not ordering for a long time * such as during covid shutdown * We have always been made welcome & cannot recommend them highly enough - We wouldn't go anywhere else! Thankyou SO much to everyone at Droitwich Tandoori ( especially the very lovely man who takes the telephone orders and also does deliveries,he is an absolute gentleman 🙏🏻)

Vine aquí para la cena de 5 años de mis hijas. La comida encantadora, caliente y fresca incluso se llevó algunos a casa, ya que las porciones eran muy generosas y un gran personal. La comida fue servida por el famoso chef shanoor, que era muy acogedor. Sin duda recomiendo y volveré de nuevo.

First time ordering from here. The food was awful. My Lamb Byriani I had so many bones in it and it wasn’t pleasant to eat. The other meal was a vegetable korma which had no taste at all. First time I can honestly say it’s one of the worst Indian takeaways we have had. Usually go to blue elephant or Rishi’s and have tried others too. Wouldn’t recommend.

I can’t thank Anjali at Janan Cafe enough for her incredible help and kindness. I had accidentally left my bag in the Janan clothing shop, and despite calling the store several times over several days, no one ever picked up. I also tried messaging via Facebook and emailing customer service, but only received delayed responses. Out of desperation, I called the Janan Cafe next door — and thankfully, Anjali answered. She immediately reassured me that my bag was there, gave me her personal number, and stayed in touch with me over the next couple of weeks as I live two hours away and couldn’t get there right away. When I finally made it back to the store, Anjali had kept my bag safe the entire time. I’m so grateful for her honesty, integrity, and the care she showed throughout the whole experience. She went above and beyond, and she’s a true asset to Janan. Thank you, Anjali!
