Had an amazing meal at Jalsagor in Hereford today! From the moment I walked in, the place had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious—full of rich, authentic flavors. The butter chicken was perfectly creamy, the biryani was packed with spice and aroma, and the garlic naan was soft and fresh. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and put care into every dish !!!

Their delivery drivers repeatedly park on and block the cycle lane. I ask them politely not to. Sadly some of their drivers are very aggressive. Today especially so. They pushed me backwards and were verbally abusive. Hopefully police take action. The guy in the photo with the paperwork was the aggressive one. You can clearly see that they are blocking the cycle way.

The food was amazing. Very fresh and tasty. I had the Devdas special for the first time and will definately order that again it was delicious. My husband had the madras which he said was the best he'd tried. Service was excellent and surroundings clean and tidy. Definately recommend eating here.

Unfortunately our delvery was 15 minutes late. When we dished out the food it wasn’t very hot. The poppodums were great but my chicken curry wasn’t. The chicken was dry and the sauce was thin and tasteless. Lastly, our peshwari nan was plain.

Visited whilst staying in the area & really enjoyed our meal. Possibly best ever pickle tray, friendly service & great value for money.

Sadly chicken was chewy for one dish..inedible 🙁

Absolutely delicious! We ordered a very large takeaway from Jalsagor under the new management, and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely gorgeous – full of authentic flavour and beautifully cooked. The new owner was incredibly welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Next time we’re in Hereford, this will be our number one go-to for a takeaway. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a favourite place of ours for some years. Always lovely, professional and friendly staff, superb food with generous portions; always busy and with a thriving take-away service too. We haven't been for a couple of months and when we went we discovered it has changed hands. We did not finish our meals - my husband said the Chicken Rezallah was basically reheated chicken with a tomato sauce that someone had put chilli powder in. My Chicken Pista Pasanda had six pieces of chicken with a red rim round them - looking as it it had been cut off a roll - and a rather sludgy paste of ground almonds. We couldn't face finishing the meals, despite being very hungry. Really sad, but we won't be going back.

Delivered in around 35 minutes, food is spicy how I like. Ordering regularly for delivery. Recommend

We placed an order through just eat and when it arrived 50 minutes after the time they claimed it would arrive they were missing a main dish. We called them and asked for it to be sent out and they just said they would refund. We asked for it to be sent out and they said there were busy so would be an hour! We asked for it to be prioritised due to their error and they said it would be out straight away. An hour and a half later and still waiting we called them and they rudely said it hasn’t been sent out and they just hung up on us. Not even an apology at any point. Very disappointed. Would not be recommending.

Absolutely fab meal yet again food always excellent staff very good. Always recommend. Good quality food that is tasty. No room for anything after meal.

Writing this review whilst still awaiting my order placed at 1830, meant to be here by 2000, over an hour late, still not here, called the restaurant several times, telling me constantly "order is literally on its way, tell us next time I'll give you a freebie", well mate if you know you're delivering extremely late place a freebie now. Horrible experience, starving family. Would have cooked at home

Best Indian in Hereford by far

Some of the order was incorrect, ordered chicken korma but got beef, dahl very watery and the tub was split.

Disappointing, we ordered four poppadoms and they brought a huge variety of dips which we thought were complimentary, only to find we were charged for them on the bill, very naughty. My Chicken Korma was tasteless, And my partners lamb not much better. It came to almost £60 for two of us, which was quite expensive for the standard of the food. We won’t be going again.

The food tasted ok, hardly any chicken in the rogan josh. It was cold.

My experience at Jalsagour restaurant was absolutely Fantastic, They have different varieties of food and desserts which were absolutely fantastic . I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone Especially friends and family. Also the staff were absolutely great and friendly. Especially a staff named Mumin, he was very helpful and caring and also assisted with my dad which is very old and needed help and he really went out his way and helped me. And to be honest that really opened heart as the restaurant was very busy but he went out his way and decided to help my father.

Perhaps the best take away curry I have had and I’m from Glasgow so that’s saying some thing

It was luke warm. The lamb was dried out and tough. The sauce was basically tomato and onion, with no special flavouring. The "keema" rice had virtually no meat in it, The papadums were small and cool. Its clearly wholesaler stuff put into a microwav

Gutted to not receive all my order at once, sat down to have a nice meal with the family as not seen them for months as been away with the army. Took over an hour to receive the rest of the order so we could all sit down together. So they had to eat with out me.

Both main meals were the same. The bhuna was not what normally comes from here! Have you changed chefs! Really strange food tonight! We paid such a premium rate for a delivery and it took even longer than normal and was not up to normal standard at all sadly!

Lovely food, chips were over done and cooked in dry oil, so that was a let down, but curry was amazing favours and colours, wasn't happy that the app tells you that your food is on the way when it hasn't even left the restaurant,

I normally love food from here but honestly totally put me off food freezing cold naan bread was hard no cheese on there chips were hard as rock and freezing cold the corner didn't even taste like korma very disappointed

This place is great. I have tried most curry houses in Hereford and this is by far the best. I really like the specials and the family won't eat anywhere else. Takeaway is always well packaged and hot when I get it home. 😋

Everything was so perfect. food, atmosphere, zero complaints. Workers are super lovely and all in all a very vibrant community. I came alone for a quick dinner and was beyond impressed by how welcoming it was. 10/10 recommend.

Truly outstanding restaurant we always love to visit Jalsagor-specially when any occasions or meeting up with friends. Last Saturday evening we decided to visit without reservations. Once we entered the restaurant we saw restaurant is very busy and no available table then we saw Ali (the waiter) coming towards us and asked to sit on the lounge. He took our drinks order straight away and served it quickly. We only had to wait 10 minutes. Outstanding and delicious food, lovely atmosphere and great friendly service. Cannot recommend highly enough.👌
