My experience at Jalsagour restaurant was absolutely Fantastic, They have different varieties of food and desserts which were absolutely fantastic . I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone Especially friends and family. Also the staff were absolutely great and friendly. Especially a staff named Mumin, he was very helpful and caring and also assisted with my dad which is very old and needed help and he really went out his way and helped me. And to be honest that really opened heart as the restaurant was very busy but he went out his way and decided to help my father.

It was luke warm. The lamb was dried out and tough. The sauce was basically tomato and onion, with no special flavouring. The "keema" rice had virtually no meat in it, The papadums were small and cool. Its clearly wholesaler stuff put into a microwav

Not overly impressed with the food, missing a poppadom from the order. Have had better meals from other takeaways in the area.

Awful food, dreadful customer service, cold food, will never order from here again. And are food was over an hour late !

Gutted to not receive all my order at once, sat down to have a nice meal with the family as not seen them for months as been away with the army. Took over an hour to receive the rest of the order so we could all sit down together. So they had to eat with out me.

Great food delivered early, would definitely recommend

Both main meals were the same. The bhuna was not what normally comes from here! Have you changed chefs! Really strange food tonight! We paid such a premium rate for a delivery and it took even longer than normal and was not up to normal standard at all sadly!

Lovely food, chips were over done and cooked in dry oil, so that was a let down, but curry was amazing favours and colours, wasn't happy that the app tells you that your food is on the way when it hasn't even left the restaurant,

Had to wait a bit but tasty as always.

I normally love food from here but honestly totally put me off food freezing cold naan bread was hard no cheese on there chips were hard as rock and freezing cold the corner didn't even taste like korma very disappointed

This place is great. I have tried most curry houses in Hereford and this is by far the best. I really like the specials and the family won't eat anywhere else. Takeaway is always well packaged and hot when I get it home. 😋

Everything was so perfect. food, atmosphere, zero complaints. Workers are super lovely and all in all a very vibrant community. I came alone for a quick dinner and was beyond impressed by how welcoming it was. 10/10 recommend.

New favourite dish, the dupiaza. Ordered for my mother and I, very relaxed experience picking up the food, the gentleman are always top notch in this restaurant! I feel welcome every time I go to get a meal there and can have a nice chat with the staff there.

Just walked out of the door - mid-week engagement as a vegetarian (frankly, easier to navigate in Asian culture where there is more of a recent culture) - what a treat. Prompt, attentive service, food arrived quickly as, and was delicious. 👍

Truly outstanding restaurant we always love to visit Jalsagor-specially when any occasions or meeting up with friends. Last Saturday evening we decided to visit without reservations. Once we entered the restaurant we saw restaurant is very busy and no available table then we saw Ali (the waiter) coming towards us and asked to sit on the lounge. He took our drinks order straight away and served it quickly. We only had to wait 10 minutes. Outstanding and delicious food, lovely atmosphere and great friendly service. Cannot recommend highly enough.👌

The food was fantastic, thoroughly enjoyed every bite.

Once again, I went to the Jalsagor for my favourite curry.... It never disappoints. The Nepali lamb Vindaloo is an absolute beast of a dish... I can eat exceptionally hot food and it was hot but not hot hot!!! Ali and Shaq (unknown pronunciation) promised that next time I come, they will prepare special chilli's and cook me the hottest best curry ever produced in the restaurant. Can't recommend more 👌

Very good food lovely service friendly staff well worth a visit

On a recent family visit to Hereford we had a fantastic evening meal here. Our lamb and prawn dishes were delicious, the biryani was beautifully seasoned, and the pickles were really good too. We also enjoyed some great cider. The service was friendly and very professional. Next time we come to the UK we will definitely pay another visit.

The food is always excellent. The atmosphere lovely and the team there are perfect hosts. We return again and again as a family and I have not eaten better Indian food in Hereford. This is five star curry. The Paneer Tikka Jalfrezi is my current favourite, along with their Tarka Dahl. Sublime. Thank you. See you again soon.

We've been having take aways from here for the last 7 years, always been happy with the food. Our most recent meal on 26/05/2024 was I have to say the best ever, the food was absolutely amazing, well done to the chefs, keep it up. Would definitely recommend!

We normally have a take away delivered out to our house (9miles away). We do sometime dine in the restaurant and we always receive a warm welcome. We love chatting to the staff. The food is lovely and never had any problems.

We ate here on a Saturday night on a trip to Hereford. The food was varied and delicious, with a great chutney selection, and the staff were very attentive. We had a lovely time!

Our first time at Jalsagor and we were very impressed with the food and helpful kind service.

Always great food and service. Best dine in or takeaway Indian in Hereford. Staff are lovely, service is great and the food is exceptional. Visited many times but on our latest visit they gave us a Jalsagor Mug! 10/10.

Normally love the food from here but tonight it was late and cold unfortunately. Poppadoms/chips were very soggy and the curry was a bit tasteless and cold/chewy chicken :(

Myself and my family have been eating at the Jalsagor for years. The food is always spot on, and the service is always great. In our eyes, The Jalsagor is the only Indian restaurant to eat at.

Our food was ordered at 6.25pm. The just eat app said it would arrive at 7.20 - 7.40pm. At 8pm I tried to contact the restaurant for an update; 7 times, and no calls were answered. Our food finally arrived at 8.4pm; 2 hours and 20 minutes after it had been ordered. The food was cold and inedible, which was highly disappointing. The 2 curries ordered were also very bland in flavouring. I will not be ordering from here again. Poor communication and poor quality food.

Introduced to this wonderful restaurant by my Brother and wow. I had a lamb pathia and was absolutely delighted. I will most definitely be returning for further adventures in eating. Top job guys

I’ve eaten many curries in many restaurants and this was probably the best ever for subtlety of taste. In addition the staff were friendly and efficient and the food was served quickly.

Food was late, but still beautifully hot and wonderful flavours

Busy night so I’ll give a bit of slack, but the food wasn’t great at all. Very watery curry and burnt naan bread. The butterfly prawn (singular) was mostly breadcrumb and inedible, (photos attached). Did get a free chip with it though. I think I’ll be going to a different curry house from now on.

Outstanding example of how it should be. Very generous with the pickle tray. Tasty, spicy curry. Perfect portion size. Absolutely recommended.

Food now comes in small plastic containers compared to larger foil containers previously. Portions are now literally half the size but the price has remained the same. No longer good value for money.
