Food was lovely, the naans were really nice and fluffy, all the dishes ordered were enjoyed by everyone, they seemed short staffed which was a shame as service was affected but staff member was very polite and doing his best.

Very friendly people and brilliant service. 100% will come back again. This was the best tastiest curry I ever had. Would 1000% recommend to all curry lovers.

We were told by other hotel guest that this was the best curry they’d had. We are very experienced curry eaters and so was a little sceptical. We were wrong. I love dansak dishes and so I had the tandoori duck dansak. The dansak curry was the best dansak I had had. My wife had chicken merilan with melons, which was creative, beautifully tasty and well presented. Even the mushroom rice and onion bhajis were of top notch quality. Just wished the Taste of India was closer to our home.

The food here is so tasty and amazing! The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome. Very reasonably priced menu too with great choice. We have been a few times and is our favourite Indian in the area by miles!! Also love that it’s being your own booze.

Not the smartest outside, but don't let that put you off. My wife and I were staying with friends in Leominster and as they have often sung the praises of this establishment we were keen to try it. We were not disappointed. We shared a range of main courses, side dishes, rices and breads and all were very good with tender meat and tasty sauces and priced reasonably. It's bring your own if you want alcohol, with no corkage, by the way. Good service, too, from friendly staff who were pleasant to chat to after we had eaten. To sum up, we would very much like to go there again.

This is my favourite restaurant (T/A) in the UK, we visit there every two weeks. Members of the staff asked me to leave an review on here this evening; I'm sorry to say that whilst the main meals were up their usual standards, the starters were not. Both my kebabs and my wife's bhajis seemed to have been 'heat-ups' from an earlier time, sorry guys.

Everything is perfect. Staff are always super friendly, the restaurant/collecting point is always very clean and tidy. The food is amazing, actually the best Indian food I've ever eaten. I have used Taste of India for years, I travel from Presteigne as it's always outstanding ❤️

Fine if you want to eat your main and dessert all at once. I ordered a take away but threw most of it away as the amount of sugar was overwhelming in both the Korma and the Royal. The Biryani was ok but the vegetables were just potato in the sauce. The egg Paratha was so greasy but my dogs enjoyed it. I know there is pressure on restaurants to cut corners with quality and quantity in times of high costs but bad cooking can't be justified. Poppadoms fine, as was the onion bhaji, but the rest was horribly sweet including the mint sauce for the poppadom. I won't eat chicken or any Halal meat, due to the cruelty involved, which takes out a lot of the menu. They could do with just ditching the sugar and properly flavouring their meals instead.

Even though,we went on new years eve ,the food and service was top notch ,will definitely be going again 👌

Just the best restaurant we've eaten in for a variety of reasons. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere so welcoming. The menu has a vast range of amazing sounding dishes. The staff were happy to give us their recommendations to help us choose. The sauces are very light, fresh and full of flavour, not heavy with ghee which causes acid reflux for both my husband and I. It's beautifully presented and clean. The food comes out piping hot and freshly cooked. Reasonable prices too. We will definitely be back next time we are passing through! It is soft drinks only on the menu, but they are happy for you to bring your own alcohol with you should you want to.

The best Indian restaurant in West Midlands! Lovely atmosphere, welcoming and attentive staff, great choice of food. The visit to Taste of India left us with a lot of positive emotions. Wow what an amazing find. Visiting from up north to see family and went for food. Great choice of dishes, good price and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Portions were generous and well presented. Will definitely visit again. Please open up north!!!

Good value for money with generous portions and attentive staff. We like that it is BYOB, surprisingly quiet when we visit, always enjoy visiting when in town. Best food in Leominster!

Great food, and good service from the guys. I recommend the garlic salmon, fish was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice. Be warned very large dish, so make sure your hungry. No alcohol served on site, but you can bring your own, glasses are provided. Definitely worth a visit.

Great if you have a takeaway but advise not to eat in as we waited over a hour while takeaway after takeaway went past us. We decided to leave and went to jalalabads whom have excellent service. Your choice but this place is on the crabag list.

Nice clean restaurant, good choice of menu. Variable waiters one was really friendly one the complete opposite. Serve soft drinks but allow you to bring your own alcohol if wanted. Not the quickest service but did have several tables in, be interesting to see what it would be like on a busy evening.

Beware that the tripadvisor website link for this restaurant in Leominster takes you to an online ordering website for a restaurant of the same name in Woking that fraudulently takes your money but uses the same menu. I got a cancellation order come through but still no refund. I went into the restaurant in Leominster and they were aware of it but still maintain the link so beware!!!!

I have a take-away from this restaurant most weeks and I cannot fault it. The staff are delightful and have a genuine interest in their customers. They have never got our order wrong, and they deliver.

I’m very disappointed as this is the second time we have been missing food from our takeaway order. It’s extremely frustrating to get home to find you haven’t received your whole order and then to discover we were also overcharged after looking at the menu prices. Nice food but poor service and expensive!

Our usual Indian restaurant was closed so we thought we’d try this place out for a takeaway. Big mistake. I ordered a pathia but what I received was not at all a pathia but more like a tikka masala, very sweet and coconuty but no flavour besides. My mushroom rice looked like it would taste nice but was very bland indeed. The bread was ok to be fair. My wife’s madras was equally as tasteless as my main and did not taste at all like a madras, no depth of flavours or spices. Not recommended.

Followed the website link above to place an order, only to realise after ordering that the website was for Taste of India in Guildford Surrey - I am still unsure if this is a scam as the team in Surrey were not very convincing and didn’t ask for an order number to cancel my order. After calling Leominster, they said this had happened to one other person in the last hour. Best to take the advise from Leominster TOI who said to check the location of a website before ordering. :( sensible advise when your not hungry.

I Use This Restaurant Regularary and Since The Lockdown Have Had Many Takeaways and Deliveries, Still a Very Friendly Service From Islam, Ali and The Staff, Superb Chefs You Cannot Get Better Authentic Indian Food Then This, I am boring and generally stick to the same each time King Prawn Butterfly Starter and Main Course King Prawn Saag Madras Hot or Vindaloo Got, Various Family Members have had Other Meals Including Mild Vegetarian Curry With Mushrooms and Potatoes , all Beautifully Prepared , I cannot Give This Restaurant Enough Praise 5 Star.See My Previous Top Review For This Venue.

I often order a takeaway from here and looking forward to eating in again. Being a fussy vegetarian with a ridiculous spice palette the chef’s are more than willing to create the perfect dish for me. My partner (meat eater) generally hates hot food and he loves this restaurant too. They cater for what you want and it’s packed full of flavour .I recommend when lockdown is over dine here ! ..... the best service & food and I can’t recommend the restaurant highly enough.

We've been there several times now and because it is the best restaurant in Leominster we go there for special occasions like birthdays etc.The food is always very good and some of the best Onion Bhajis that I've had anywhere.The staff are always very friendly and helpful and although the outside of the building is not very inviting the inside is very nice.

Fab meal. I called ahead first to ensuer there were vegan options. Went with two non vegans and had a fantastic meal. Staff were attentive and food was delicious!

We couldn't fault the service and the food was excellent. A wide selection of "specials" on the menu - they say there is a genuine South Indian influence as well as the normal Bangladeshi range of food. Some people have criticised the rather liquid nature of the sauces, but we rather liked it. Bring your own wine, but with the Co-op supermarket around the corner you are spoiled for choice>

My husband and I decided to pick up a takeaway from here, but our experience made us decide to go elsewhere. We were not at all acknowledged when we walked in, were stood quite clearly behind the man paying for his order, only to have the man serving go completely over our heads to the man he knew behind us and then continued to take his order. This is so rude, and being in business myself makes me more angry. We will not be returning

I travel a lot and love Indian food and the meal I had last night was one of the best I have had in a long time. I have a caravan sited nearby so this restaurant is going to be a regular visit. At the time of writing this it does not have a drinks licence but you can take your own (which I prefer anyway).

My first experience of this restaurant, friendly staff upon arrival, fast service and the meal was very tasty so very happy to would recommend.

I came here to help with my sports club meetings and as a placed to eat, it was lovely. The food was great and service excellent. Atmosphere on the other hand wasn't extremely bad, but did lack its happiness. There were not many people in there for a Saturday night. If you book early they can move tables together and make them reserved for if you have a large amount of people. You can bring alcohol but be warned they will not let you bring soft drinks.

The friendly staff and the great food make this restaurant the best in the area. Never had a bad meal at the taste of India and has a wide and varied menu with plenty of choice which the chef is always happy to adapt. Handy parking nearby and you can your own alcoholic drinks which keeps the cost down . Highly recommended .

Ordered takeaway late Saturday night. We had chicken tikka masala, pilau rice, naan bread and poppudoms. It was the worst curry we've ever had. The tikka masala had tons of runny sauce and all you could taste was coconut and sugar with a few bits of chicken swimming in it. I have also never seen bright red sauce in a tikka masala before. The poppudoms were soft and the rice had no flavour. Feels like we were eating the leftovers from the day.

The waiter had a great sense of humour that made the evening.

Staff really friendly, food was good. Only down side is they do not serve alcohol! But they did say we could have brought in our own.

It has no parking at restaurant, but two town car parks within about 200 yards. First on drinks order there was no alcohol, the waiter did say they dont mind you bringing your own. There is a Polish shop next door which sell some also over the road there a spa which has a larger selection. Menu was ok good selection / range. Decor is clean and nice. Service was ok. It was not busy in the restaurant, but takeaway seem quite busy, So that seems to say something. There is 20% off the menu prices if you collect. Food was average. Was very disorganised when I went to pay gave me the wrong bill to start much more than mine then took some time to total mine on a calculator. Got it right at last. On the whole doubt if we will go back. This was my second visit and last.

The takeaway menu is quite varied with a good few speciality dishes as well as the old faithfuls. I tried a nagari this time which was excellent. Mushroom Bhakti superb, but sag aloo v. disappointing. Also lurid red dye in the onion salad, which was a bit sweet. The food was ready right on the time quoted and the staff are friendly. Overall very good.

We were staying in the area for Christmas and had a takeaway menu for this restaurant in our cottage and then the TA reviews confirmed this was the place for us.

I ordered take away from here for the 1st time on new years eve. Although they were busy, my order was ready to collect at the time they said it would be. Price was reasonable and was really lovely food. Nice and hot, plenty of flavour. Easily the best Indian in town......we have tried similar menu items in most of them and taste of India definitely comes out on top

Prebooked a few months in advance and did not disappoint. Food was lovely and the service was excellent! So much so we were unable to get a taxi back and one of the waiters kindly drove my unwell uncle home!

Me and my boyfriend used to live in Ludlow which had amazing food places especially a great Indian and we have struggled to find anything nice in Leominster but finally we have found one just as goood if not better we had a chicken tikka masala and a chicken korma with pilau rices naan bread and chutney dips was so tasty definitely recommend and the staff friendly too will use again and maybe even eat in the restaurant next time

Fabulous food excellent staff who even tactfully asked the drunken female guest to moderate her continuous 500 decibel laugh. Respect to these dedicated staff. Did i mention the FABULOUS FOOD.

The food was absolutely brilliant, I would defiantly recommend this restaurant, the wait was not long, approx 25-30 mins, and if it was busy I would understand that the wait would be longer, Rubel, the main waiter, was kind, polite

First time visit, food very good, ambience average. If you're going to put fresh flowers on table ensure that they are not just aboutready to go into pot pourri dish. Also if you advertise air conditioning put it on. One or two other things that could be improved. But I go to a restaurant to eat in the main so on that front the food was very good and all 3 of us cleared our plates. But all round needs to up game as there is stiff competition on the Indian restaurant front in Leominster
