Food was very delicious. Must try their Biryani's (high recommend). Staff were very friendly and polite.

Driver had too many deliveries and m8ne was last. I messaged the driver and called th3 restaurant but neither cared. Foot was stone cold!!!

As a delivery driver, I wouldn’t recommend this place due to poor hygiene and unreasonably long wait times. I accepted an order and drove 15 minutes to the restaurant, only to be told to wait 5 minutes. After patiently waiting for 10 minutes, I asked the staff how much longer it would take, and they responded, “just 1 minute.” However, I ended up waiting another 8 minutes before finally receiving the food—despite the restaurant not being busy. There is a clear lack of professionalism. Staff were sitting behind the counter eating popcorn while customers were inside. No uniforms, no hats, and no sense of urgency. Customers complain about long wait times, but it’s the drivers who take the blame. No one is compensating drivers for the fuel wasted on unnecessary waiting. I have already reported the long wait time to Deliveroo, and I hope they take action. If you can’t run a food business properly, you shouldn’t be in the industry.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere, tasty food and reasonably priced. Had not visited here since the previous owner was there, decor much improved and food just as good. Will be a regular from now on.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. We went for a meal with friends & colleagues to celebrate a team event, and everything seemed fine until we got the bill. They had added extra beer bottles that we never ordered! When we pointed it out, the staff acted clueless and refused to correct it at first. Only after arguing for several minutes did they reluctantly removed some of the charges, but even then, they were unapologetic. At one point we were threatened by the staff that they won’t allow us to go until the entire bill is paid off or the police arrives. When we asked for the cctv footage they couldn’t show anything and continued to argue. It’s clear they were trying to cheat us, hoping we wouldn’t notice. If they do this with drinks, who knows what else they overcharge for? The food was average at best, and the service was slow, but the dishonesty is what really ruined the experience. Avoid this place unless you want to be scammed. Plenty of better restaurants around that don’t try to rip off their customers.

We were in a group and they added 11 drinks extra to the bill and thought to get away with it. Looks like new way of making money by fake indian restaurant.

This is our first time at baloo. We were celebrating today a team event and although food was average at best everyone had a good time. We noticed a couple of extra beers landed on our table without us ordering but thought nothing of it. When it came to settle the bill we were stung with a bill of £450. Closer Inspection revealed a charge of 25 pints where we had only consumed 14. What followed was a very intimidating row with threats that we would not be allowed to leave the premise unless we paid and that the police would be contacted. Despite asking for CCTV footage were told it would not show clearly evidence of the pints brought to table anyway. After a lengthy ordeal another manager appeared who admitted was not present at the time of our meal, decided he was happy to settle for 18 pints! We decided it wasn’t worth the fight after all everyone had young families to return to (another reason why we knew of our max consumption). Determined not to ruin the night we paid but as we walked out the staff were then extremely rude to us, commenting that we should not be eating out if we could not afford to (almost to cement in front of other customers this was our fault). Whether this was an intentional scam or a mistake they were not willing to admit (and we were 100% it wasn’t ours), Baloo gave me and my friends the most humiliating experience ever and a sad way to remember what should have been a celebratory occasion. Rarely would I feel the need to write a review of any sort but tonight I feel compelled to warn others to AVOID AT ALL COST!

I had a disappointing experience at Baloo Restaurant yesterday. Both the starters and main course were completely bland and tasteless. On top of that, the breads and paneer were overly fried, making them unpleasant to eat. The worst part was the incorrect billing—we were charged for 25 pints when we only had 14. When we asked to verify through CCTV footage, they made excuses, saying the video was not working. After 30 minutes of back-and-forth discussion, instead of correcting the mistake, they insisted we pay for 18 pints. Frustrated and unwilling to waste more time and energy, we had no choice but to pay. With such poor food quality and dishonest billing practices, I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Hope they take customer concerns seriously and improve both their food and service.

Quick and easy food to grab, it was very cheap. I got a burger with chips and a drink all for £4.29. The food is pretty standard but for the price they provide you can’t really complain.

Prices are actually quite good and the Indian food is good but the two things that let this place down are: 1. Poor attention to detail, this is the second time I've gone away and found items that I've ordered are missing. I don't think they do it on purpose but it's very poor concentration. 2. The Indian food is good but the English stuff like chicken and chips are poor. The chicken has more salt than Siberia, just ridiculous, and the chips are burned like they've been done in a hurry. Stick to the Indian stuff and check before you leave, then you'll be okay but avoid the traditional fried chicken and chips

I had a party of 55 people and placed an order of Chicken Biryani, Veg Manchurian, paneer masala, grilled chicken wings, mirchi salaan, veg biryani and raita from Reddy's. The food was exceptional- authentic perfectly spiced biryani. The other main courses were delicious too and the quantity was just more than sufficient. Staff are very helpful. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the food. They are soon to start regular catering services and I am certainly looking forward to it.

We ordered food from the shop on Sunday 10th November on the Just Eat app our order was accepted by the restaurant and they gave us a delivery time which was fine,when the time arrived it was put forward to another half an hour which happened three times and they then phoned me to see if l had received our food when l said no they cancelled our order without saying anything to us pathetic service from this place l certainly won’t be ordering from here again really poor service

The food is always overcooked and dry. I ordered a lamb curry last time, yes they advertised it's cooked with the bone, but I wasn't expecting mostly 90% bone and very little meat. Today my order again was overcooked and you forgot one of my drinks. I won't be ordering from here again, it's not worth the money they charge.

We used to get this quite a lot, was our go to take-away. Somethings are still very nice such as their mozzarella dippers,pizzas and burgers however, the chicken was disgusting, so salty and tasted like old oil was used when it was cooked. The kebab is appalling, they sent it to me completely burnt and it was inedible. The last few times has been a complete waste of money because of the lack of quality. Disappointed, and will not be going here anymore

Food was too delicious and very authentic . Thoroughly enjoyed the biryani and peri peri chicken . Fusion pizza was too scrumptious . Kids loved wings and fries . Would definitely recommend and must try place for yummy food .

Delicious food and good service

Really nice food and good prices too. However, the service is slow, and it is very annoying when you telephone your order and they say 10 minutes, but it is not ready when you arrive half an hour later. I waited today for chips and cheese. There is a serious need to improve the speed of service, guys, or you won't be around for too long. Please don't see this review as negative; take my feedback on board and use it to improve.

Ordered Veg & Chicken Biryani. Food was very good and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. The service was great. Ordered over phone and the food was ready when we went to the shop. The staff was very cordial.

I am a regular customer of Reddy's Eat In, their Grilled burger and pizza are a must try. It is also known for it's delicious biryani.

Went in this afternoon as a back up plan as where we wanted was closed and was not disappointed. The staff were so so lovely and kept checking in to see if everything was okay. Will 110% be ordering/returning and trying some of the other food. The guy who served us recommended the biryani and repeatedly asked if I liked it, anything we’d change etc, genuinely seemed to care to be there. Very refreshing atmosphere. Definitely worth trying. The only thing even remotely negative would be a high chair would have been helpful as my toddler ate in her pram, but it’s only a small shop I understand the lack of room for one.

Ordered a cheese burger and kebab for delivery. The cheese burger was hot but the kebab was stone cold. I dont understand while they were both delivered at the same time. The kebab went straight in the bin.. not worth the money. I was hoping for decent food after reading the reviews
