LaZeez in Northampton

My first visit. Clean and spacious with pleasant and helpful staff. I stayed a few hundred yards down the road, so it was convenient to get a takeaway after my very long journey. The prices are very reasonable and the food was prepared quick, but not rushed. Very hot and very tasty indeed. I really can't fault it here whatever. Definitely my go to Indian when I stay here again in business. Well done to all the staff.

Second time we Had a takeaway, and both times it took almost 2 hours to arrived. I believe they leave the food in warm containers while waiting for driver, and this includes the cold starters ie prawn cocktail. The prawns were hot and the salad resembled soggy cabbage. It was inedible. The main was a bit better, but the chicken was so tough.

I just enjoyed an amazing Indian takeaway! The flavors were rich and authentic, and the portion sizes were generous. Everything was fresh and perfectly spiced. Definitely one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in a while. Will be ordering again soon!

Thank you so much to all of the Lazeez staff we were a large booking of 37 guests & all the team hosted us throughout from welcoming us from the start very kind, caring, professional, attentive & went the extra mile. The meals were delicious & very flavoursome. We had a pre starter of poppadoms with chutney trays & onion salad. For starters we had a mixed starter of sheek kebab, onion bajees, samosas which were home made crispy & lots of filling inside with a side salad. For mains we had a variety of curries from a few chicken, lamb, prawns & vegetarian options which were all tasty lots of flavour whether mild medium or spicy everyone loved it all soaked up with different naans to choose from plain, garlic & peshwari & pilau rice. The children either had chicken curry & rice or chicken nuggets chips with fried tomato, mushroom & onions with side salad the portion sizes were great. For dessert children had ice cream which they ate very quickly. Lazeez team brought out the birthday cake & the whole restaurant sang happy birthday. The process from the pre booking & accommodating everyone was so smooth organised by Enam even making sure all allergies were taken care of very carefully & whatever other requests were fulfilled. Not only did Lazeez have all is to cater for but other bookings & walk ins as well as take away orders which they made look so easy but I bet it’s not well done on your hard work & professionalism. Lazeez you are all truly amazing fantastic team Impeccable service through out. We loved our experience their & the food with the hospitality so much so we have pre booked for Xmas day 2024 & can’t wait & everyone will re visit too highly recommend a visit to all. Thank you to all of Lazeez staff we had the best time.

Charged for take away tubs bare in mind i spent 33£ and they still charged me was not the best to be honest little amount of rice and small portions

Ordered a takeaway. It took almost two hours to arrive. My starter of a prawn cocktail was under all the other hot dishes, practically cooking it. It must’ve been sitting there a while because is tasted awful. The sauce was watery. I had two mouthfuls band good job I didn’t go further because I felt Ill. The rest of the food was too good either. It’d been sitting in someone’s car for a while. Awful. Won’t use again.

Just come back from a meal at lazeez after last visit a few months ago thought we’d give it another try after last time over an hour wait for our mains , this time food was a lot quicker starters were good as always then only waited about 15/20 minute for our mains my husbands was nice BUT chicken tikka biryani rice was nice but veg curry had one piece of cauliflower in it and the rest was like the rest was like gravy so watery when we complained to manager he said perhaps the chief forgot to put the veg in 🤣 In a veg curry and offered a BIG £3 ponds discount , the manager seems to like praise won’t put his hands up when a mistake has been made ,so after coming here for about 4/5 years sadly we won’t return

Went here last night for the first time . I ordered something completely different which I had never had before, a Nepalese dish called Kathmandu ko kukhura lamb, which was stunning, thanks Ahmed for the friendly welcome and great service, will definitely return

We don't know the area but were staying very close to LaZeez. We were planning on walking into town but decided to go into LaZeez instead. I'm so glad we did. I cannot fault the service - polite, welcoming, efficient and helpful. The food was superb with an extensive menu featuring specialities from India, Bangladesh and Nepal. The price was reasonable and the restaurant spotless. If we lived locally, we would definitely eat there (or get takeaways) regularly.

The starter was nice did wait far to long for the main course over hour. The chicken curry was below average, my English partner makes better chicken curry !!

Been coming here for a few years all ways nice food at a reasonable price BUT this time arrived at 730 ordered about 740 wasn’t that busy didn’t revive our starters till about 830 then another 20 minute wait for our mains and some people were waiting longer than us this is the second time this has happened think they need more staff

Poor service waited over hour for the main course. Chicken curry average my English partner makes better curry at home !!

Rubbish attitude of staff . What I ordered wasn’t what I got and no apology rendered. Even sent him a picture of what I wanted he lied that they had it and brought absolutely rubbish for me.

I visited on a Monday evening with no one else in the restaurant, however the food was really good and I will definitely be back soon. Credit goes to Amed and his team for keeping up his standards of food on such a quiet evening.

Great food and great service. We happened to go on Banquet Night (Thursday), great value deal where you can order pretty much anything off the menu (you pay a little extra for duck and seafood). No compromise in the quality of the food. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone considering going there

We love love love this indian and only a stones throw from home. The food is fabulous and sevice is second to none. They also deliver fast and still hot when arrives if we cant be bothered to leave the house

Got recommended to this place by a friend ,having moved from west London 7 months ago we were struggling to find an Indian restaurant as good as our old local . But this place is fantastic staff attentive food delicious and it’s bring your own drink so 12 cobras and a few cans of coke for the driver washed it down a treat . Well done all thanks benno

We had a table of 15 of us on Thursday night, service was quick and easy! The food was delicious - we took advantage of the banquet offer and there was plenty for everyone to eat including two toddlers. Would definately recommend to anyone!

Easy to book by phone, wheelchair access great, staff brilliant couldn't be more helpful. Food superb flavours incredible I can recommend the Monk fish tikka. Wonderful evening was had by all. Many thanks to Enam the chef and all the staff.

Oh dear, ordered a takeaway from here and really sorry to say that it was not up to the same standard as when Kamran used to own it. Really sorry, guys, but have to be honest did not enjoy it at all.

Everything came out more or less together. Takeaway cartons were provided for a couple of the guests to take leftovers home. That’s how nice the meal was… what they couldn’t eat, they wanted to take home. The bonus part is you can take your own drinks too which helps keep costs down. It was a Monday night just before January pay day so wasn’t busy, so I can’t say much about the atmosphere, but it felt nice for us. Will definitely be back and will try the takeaway too.

Possible the best Indian Restaurant in Northampton. Whenever I have friends come over to the U.K. or family celebrations we always come here. 5/5

Fabulous food, great service, 10 ladies dined out fo birthday celebration, Thursday buffet night...choice of cuisine 10 out of 10..... this restaurant is one of the best in town.

To be honest we do come here alot on a Saturday or Sunday but decided to The Thursday banquet and wasn't disappointed. I tried something different for starters which was the Gorkali Chicken which was probably the best started I've personally had from any curry house & for mains I tried to expand by experience with Chicken Hariyo Kursani from the Nepalese section. Couldn't have asked for nice curry with different mixtures of flavour and heat . Garlic nan was 10/10 Couldn't fault the whole experience we had on a Thursday and will be trying the other food which is recommended on the menue .

One mistake for delivering late in the past. Such good food we were willing to give them another try. So glad we did. Their cuisine is delicious and we are now returning customers again. Their bombay alloo and lamb madras is a taste of heaven. Thanks guys!

Amazing place to come for a curry and you can bring your own alcohol for free which is rare to find these days. There is a wide array of dishes and many vegetarian options, i tried the saag aloo which was delicious and i also tried the nepalese chicken kahsani which was the best curry i’ve had in northampton, couldn’t recommend anymore

This is by far the best Indian food in Northampton. Everything is cooked to order and is freshly made. We have tried pretty much all the Indian restaurants in Northampton and I can honestly state that none of them come close to Lazeez. If you want authentic Indian food this is the place to go. Service and atmosphere is excellent, nothing is too much. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to accommodate food requests including ordering in kulfi for us, (Indian ice cream) Prices are very reasonable so even more reason to go. Enjoy!!

Exquisite Indian cuisine prepared in a European style (not so many seasonings)! And what’s surprising is that you can bring your own alcohol. I recommend it, you won’t regret it, it makes sense to try it!

Wow, how have I never been here before?! Just finished our delivery and the food was by far the best I have had in a long time! Today we went with kids to restaurant me and my husband. At first nobody came for taking the order we waited 15 minutes even though restaurant was all empty. Then the girl was forcing us to order drinks and some bloody thing we didn’t want to eat. We told her to take order but she mentioned she cannot only the man will. So the guy came and started saying the food will take time as we don’t take orders till 5pm so each dish would take 20 minutes each and he cannot give a specific time for food to be ready. He was extremely rude and unprofessional he spoke to my husband is such a loud and bad way that my children got upset and we had to leave the place. His behaviour was very bad and they were just chatting and having fun with eachother rather then focusing on customers. Shameful indian person he was. They don’t even know how to speak to customers the guy scared my children he shouted so much. I think they have never served a customer before they could not even find the pen to take order. He was misbehaving so much i have his photo and will do official complaint against him for harassing my children and scaring them by shouting at my husband. Such a shameful man he was he didn’t even know how to speak to people just having fun around. They should get some training on how to speak to ppl but probably from their home not work because this is something u learn from home how to speak to anyone and I can’t expect anything from these ppl tbh. However tried to ruin our Sunday we couldn’t eat there because of his bad behaviour and shouting. We were in no hurry but he started yelling at us as if was not in senses i guess.

These guys not only make great food but also give great service. Really attentive and always smiling. We along with our family and friends always choose Lazeez when Indian food is on the cards. Many dishes have been tried over the years and never has anyone been disappointed. Without doubt one of the best restaurants in Northamptonshire and great value.

Me and dad visited here spontaneously as we were walking by looking for somewhere to eat, we were going to walk past but so glad we didn't. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was fantastic. Such a shame we live 100 miles too many north for a takeaway. Stayed one night in a hotel nearby and great this little gem of an Indian restaurant was so close. Very friendly and attentive staff fast service and reasonable prices and what was truly amazing you can bring your own alcohol and they will provide the classes, first class all-round. I ordered a single rice portion as I was told it was enough for two and it was a special chicken tikka masala for my partner and my favourite chicken dhansak with a portion of stuffed keema paratha and of course the poppadoms. What was left over they portioned up as a takeaway far to good to leave.
