The food at Ritu was amazing! The Butter Chicken was creamy and tasted amazing , the Lamb Rogan Josh was tender and juicy, and the biryani was perfectly spiced. The naan was fresh, and the service was excellent in a cozy setting. Highly recommend!

Very pleasant experience overall. The waitress who served us was lovely, friendly and polite. She explained the menu as new customers and gave recommendation. We took her word and the Thalia ordered did not disappoint. We left full and very happy, with a bag of takeout produce they sell from their deli counter. Parking is plentiful in the rear council carpark, which is free and easily accessible.

We ordered a takeaway away and would not be going back. The order arrived late but the main issue was some of our order was missing. When we called to discuss resolving the situation, they tried to excuse the situation and blag their error. In addition the chicken dishes had all the bones left in the dish; this left us concerned what other short cuts were they doing potentially hygiene. The food was average but their attitude to customers and denial of accountability on a seemingly innocent error of forgetting to pack a dish would not see us return to this restaurant.

Myself and my partner how now become regulars eating at Ballingdon Valley and we are never disappointed. It was my bday and on arrival we were greeted by the lovely Zaynal who was very professional and attentive. Zaynal guided us through the wine list and we were very pleased with the bottle he recommended. Our waiter Kahled has always been very friendly and kind and has also helped me making choices of different dishes to try and also explains the ingredients in each dish and how mild or hot they maybe. Our food has always been excellent and we highly recommend, we come from Bury just for their service and great food. Thank you for a lovely bday and dinner we will definitely be seeing you soon. Stumbled across this restaurant by accident whilst staying in Bedford. Thought we'd have trouble getting a table on a Saturday night, but the staff were very welcoming despite us not booking. The meal was lovely, just the right amount of food, and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back.

Had a brilliant night. Polite lovely staff showed us what to do as we hadn’t been before. Food was beautiful! we really enjoyed the atmosphere and staff were so helpful bringing us another Pepsi seconds after we asked. Will definitely be returning soon

This is my 3rd time back here, food was great just as always. Very friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Bring your own drinks. You definitely will not be disappointed.

As we were staying in Thetford, we opted for the buffet for Sunday lunch at The Raj. The service we received was excellent, the selection of dishes was beyond our capacity to sample all of them, and the quality of the food we did try was very good. If in the vacinity of Thetford on another occassion, we would certainly include The Raj, particularly the Sunday buffet again!
