The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Pre-Reservamos una fiesta de 10 para las 8 pm los domingos. Llegamos a tiempo a un restaurante casi vacío. Tuvimos que pedir para pedir bebidas. Tuvimos que pedir para ordenar algunos poppadoms. Tuvimos que pedir a los platos principales. Se volcaron a otros clientes y les dijeron que el restaurante estaba completamente reservado (estaba vacío aparte de nosotros). Los poppadoms estaban deliciosos. La cerveza de barril se había acabado. Sospecho que también se les acabó la comida. 90 minutos después de llegar aún no teníamos nuestros principales. Con un tren para coger les dijimos que tendríamos que salir en otros 5 minutos si no había comida. Platos (calientes) llegaron. Todavía en la comida después de otros 10 minutos. No hay explicación de la gestión de la demora. Finalmente, nos dimos por vencidos, pagamos por bebidas y poppadoms, y nos fuimos para tomar el último tren con el estómago vacío. NO UN RENDIMIENTO IMPRESIONANTE.

We are new to the area having just moved in this week and thought after a long week we would treat ourselves to a take away tonight. With so much choice in Sandwich we settled for Chutney Masala and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Great service on the phone and delivery guy was friendly to the food which was amazing. I had the Chicken Tikka (not too adventurous) and my wife had the Chicken Shashlik both of which were cooked fresh with no grease and had great taste. It’s fair to say now we will be back as we begin our life here in Sandwich! Keep doing what you’re doing at Chutney Masala….its brilliant.

Tasty food, staff very friendly

I had not been to my regular Indian/Bangladeshi for a long time due to Covid. I tried their take away tonight. Very nice prawn puri starter and lamb tikka main + excellent sag aloo. Old reliable.

Amazing food, friendly and attentive staff. The best Indian we have had in years, wished we lived nearer. Thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Takeout/delivery. February 16 2025. We ordered a chicken korma n a tikka massala, on time, it was luke warm at best, the sauce was quite watery, not much taste or flavour, manufactured chicked(cubed) nan bread was small n thin, rice was ok. Sad really as not had an issue prior to this order, £28.10 to eat for 10 mins a very average luke warm food. Time I feel to try a different Indian takeout. Sorry guys as delivery driver n initial guy who took order where very pleasant.

The food is amazing, I had the Pathia it was so tasty, would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent evening at Indian Ocean staff are friendly and welcomed us had a great atmosphere and relaxed everyone enjoyed there meals portion size good well cooked and tasty I will definitely be returning in the near future

Tuvimos el brunch sin fondo en un sábado y lo pasamos de lo mejor! El servicio fue increíble y nunca tuvimos un vaso vacío. La banda en vivo fue genial y mantuvo el ambiente. El interior de la taberna es realmente único con un toque de estilo victoriano. ¡Uno de los mejores brunchs que he hecho!

Visited Ek Raj for the first time after an advert on Facebook. Ordered items from the Fix menu! Literally exceptional quality food, we chose the following items. 1. loaded Masala Chips - Unreal with a really nice kick of heat. 2. Bombay Aloo Roll - Nice bread, Potato could have had stronger spice but was delicious 3. Open Loaded Naan (Tikka Masala) - OMG. This was UNREAL. Great bread, really tasty. Literally would go back tomorrow! Such a delicious and entrepreneurial way to add quick dishes to the menu! 5* overall.
