Back here after a year with the family and I must say the food was exceptionally good once again. We were looked after by Laki and Martina, who are both welcoming and accommodating with a smile. There were 8 of us and we all had different dishes and they were all excellent! My chicken Naga dish was one of the best I've ever had, so tasty and spicy. If we're ever in GY again we'll certainly be coming back here without any hesitation.

We came as a family of three including our 16 month old son. The waiter, Ruhul, was amazing with our son. So patient and couldn’t accommodate enough for him/us. Accompanied by the great quality food, we would 100% go back the next time we holiday in Great Yarmouth and recommend others to go too.

We collected a takeout. Whenever we holiday in Great Yarmouth, we will get an indian from Jaipur. I had chicken Bahari, had a lovely flavour with whole green chillies so it is as hot as you want it to be. Nicely spiced & ample portion. Hubby had the tandoori mixed grill with a side of vegetable madras. We shared pilau and sag Aloo. It was all lovely. We had to wait 20 minutes on arrival, an extra 20 minutes to the time we were told. They offered me a drink while I waited. Friendly service. The only indian we use on holiday. Very nice food. We will return on our next holiday here.

Takeaway 20th April 2024. I have ordered from this restaurant on a regular basis, up to now the food has always been good. Last night the order was delivered in half the quoted time. However, the Onion Bhaji were extremely dry and overcooked, tasted as if they had been re-fried from the previous nights service. Disappointing, also the Sag Aloo was all sag and little Aloo, also far too much lemon juice in the dish. They gave me a free poppadom, if they want to do that they should give me a poppadom and not just a bag with a load of broken pieces of poppadom, that's an insult. A takeaway is not cheap these days, when you spend £30+ you want to know the quality will be consistent. I will be reluctant to place another order any time soon. There are a number of restaurants in the area, I will decide where I will receive the best quality for my money. Disappointed of Caister

We ate here a year ago while on holiday and enjoyed our meal then so it was our first choice this year and it didn't disappoint. The service here is excellent helpful but not intrusive . The food was delicious I particularly enjoyed the onion bhajis and my husbands favourite part of his meal was the chicken balti. The whole meal was well presented, tasty and very good value for money and if we return to great yarmouth again this will be top of our list for a meal.

This place came highly recommended, but not really sure why. I thought it was bang average. Very standard menu. The saucing & spicing was very heavy-handed. My aloo gobi was nearly all potato and virtually no cauliflower. The sauce on my jalfrezi was thick & stodgy. The kulcha naan, however, was excellent. Simply nothing special at all.

We reserved this place for dinner on a recommendation and on the way there our taxi driver gave us a fright when he told us that the food is not good in this place so we went in a little anxious. However, we were very well greeted by Rahul and Martina on our arrival and the great service continued, always smiling and attentive. We ordered our drinks which came over quickly and then we ordered our food. There was 12 of us and we all had different dishes including the kids, which we all picked out of and we could not fault a single thing - the food was so tasty and amazing. My favourite was the Naga Chicken, absolutely mouth watering and if you like it spicy then go for this one. The whole experience was fabulous, even the toliets were kept nice and clean. And then to top it off at the end of the night we were given 10% off our food bill thanks to Laki. I highly recommend this Jaipur restaurant to everyone reading this, you will not be disappointed. We will certainly return again if we are in Great Yarmouth. A BIG THANK YOU to all the staff!

We had a lovely dinner in this restaurant with our friends. Different meals like chicken masala, chicken tikka madras, curry king prawn and a chicken curry. All of them were very tasty. Good and friendly staff and a quick service.

We were staying in Great Yarmouth and picked the Jaipur for a delivery. It turned out to be really good. We'd chosen two starters which were tasty and plentiful. We had one main between us and there was certainly enough for two after sharing the two starters. All the meat was tender and the sauces really good. They'd added a couple if free poppadoms with yoghurt sauce which was a nice touch. Service was good too.

Food is absolutely amazing and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I've been going here for years. Great value for money too 🙂

Went while we were on holiday in Great Yarmouth and had a fabulous meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back next time we visit the area.

When I return home, this is my comfortable place of choice. Tonight was my friends birthday so went to celebrate it at Jaipure where Laki and staff always give a friendly welcome. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming and the food is superb. If you're in Gt.Yarmouth I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try.

Ordered a meal not had before reading menu looked good, oh well live and learn, a disappointing meal, very bland couldn't taste any spices, meat was chewy not tender, the naan sweet to me, poppadoms and pickle selection best thing about meal. The service was very good, place was clean set out well. Reading reviews of people that have eaten here their tastebuds must be poor. Tried 2 Asian restaurants in Yarmouth and both wouldn't last in Birmingham or Bradford.

visited this restaurant while on holiday. We went early so were the first customers of the night. I wanted a specific dish and although it took a few minutes for us to understand each other the waiter did his very best to ensure I got what I wanted. The whole meal was excellent, the service was good and I would not hesitate in visiting again if we were visiting Great Yarmouth again.

Visited this restaurant with my son. A little off the beaten track. Quite a small restaurant but, has an extensive menu. I felt adventurous and ordered the Chef's special. Really good lamb, full of flavour and truly delicious, just as described. I can see why this restaurant gets high praise and awards. Service is great we were looked after well 1st day of reopening in house meals we all love a curry have to say every dish we had was amazing tasted great looked great if we were local we would be here all the time.

Arrived late, fair enough if busy but they said 30 mins. Onion bhaji cold. Channa massala 1/2 container. Mixed veg rice, 1/2 container. Chicken vindaloo 1/2 container. Lamb angara 1/2 container as was the sag aloo. The guy on the phone was polite but my food was not acceptable. This place used to be exceptional but has gone downhill. Never again!!!

On holiday out of my comfort zone looked at the reviews and decided to order 3 curries and sides , great decision, what an amazing curry , taste and quality was fantastic , would definitely use again !

Food arrived 1 hr 5 minutes late. Cold and parts of order missing not so happy to speak to you when you complain.

As an Indian, I can say that the food was on time and very delicious. We where there for two nights and ordered the takeaway on both nights. It was hot and lovely. Whenever we go to Gt. Yarmouth we shall not go anywhere else but to the Jaipur.

I didn't even get to eat my food before I had to leave my holiday. we ordered at 5pm for delivery to the caravan site and the food finally arrived at 7pm, just in time for me to leave to catch my train. Firstly, Carole, the dingbat, gave us someone else's order at 6pm, which, if it was the correct order would have given me enough time to eat before leaving, and my son to eat before bedtime. then when we rang to say it was wrong they added on another 40 mins to our delivery time. Carole, the dingbat, took the wrong delivery back and wasn't going to hand over the correct delivery to my son's dad. She didn't understand that she had to swap the wrong order for the right order... It was only after some shouting by my son's dad did we get our order at 7pm... my train back to London was at 7:17pm... so not only did I not enjoy a goodbye meal when I left my son to enjoy the second half of his holiday with his dad, I just didn't get to eat... so I don't even know if my food would have been nice. thanks Carole, you dingbat. I'll be cursing you when I stroll through my front door at 11:30pm with an empty stomach.

This is the first time me and my partner have used Jaipur but I can assure you it will not be the last! Not only was the food absolutely incredible the service that I received when I collected was top notch! If your wondering weather or not to have an India from here think no more this is the place. Thankyou for the amazing food!As soon as we can dine out again this will be the first place we go!

Having been searching for a good Indian restaurant since the one we usually used must have changed their chef or something as the food had deteriorated we decided to try the Jaipur (via Just Eat) hoping that it would be OK. It was delicious, in fact even better than the restaurant we used to use which we thought was good. The food arrived hot and on time and it was brilliant. Will definitely use again.

Can not recommend a better place than this! Food is always tasty! Service is excellent! We always order takeaways from here and have eaten in a few times too! Highly recommend!

On a two night stay so as we do we hunted down a decent curry house, after looking on tripadvisor we saw that this place had some good reviews so decided to give at a go and we were not disappointed, starters were good and the mains hot, spicy and very tasty service was also good. Would recommend a visit if your staying in the area.

Take away and horrendous service took obmver 1 hour past delivery expected time and when arrived most items were missing.When called received aweful reception and no remorse for poor service, I would use bangla nights locally if u had to choose. This company doesn't deserve to be trading locally.

Tucked away in a back street you could miss this place there is only a single shop front but inside it goes back a fair way. The food was that good we went two nights on the run. The Jaipur is a traditional Indian like it should be with great tasty food and curry sauce that tastes home made. To often nowadays the curry all seems generic and massed produced. All our food was served piping hot by polite staff even the plates were hot which is one of my pet hates in many places. My wife's tandoori chicken was moist and nicely spiced all in all a very nice experience.

Excellent food, freshly prepared. Recipes was adjusted to suit personal preferences where requested. Staff very helpful. Fully recommended.

Well was really surprised to read the last review slating the staff off in there, we moved to yarmouth 15 months ago, we are 69&72 , tried a couple of takeaways but found Jaipur to be the very best, food is delicious, I have to say we mainly use once a week, sometimes twice, most times we collect the meal, we have EVER only found each and everyone of the staff there to be extremely polite and helpful, be it over the phone or in the restaurant, really sad to see this lady was upset, but like I said we find all the staff polite, helpful, and if we get a delivery the drivers have always been polite, when we ring the meal is usually ready in 10 to 20 minutes, but obviously that is a takeaway, keep the good work up guys, we love your restaurant and food, Sandra Napoleon Place!!!!

Visited on a Tuesday evening on a break to great yarmouth. So glad we booked in advance as it was busy. The food was superb and the service exceptional and quick without you feeling rushed. Would happily visit again.

I phoned up a week in advance to book in to the Jaipur restaurant as I was taking a holiday in great yarmouth. Upon arriving to the restaurant, I told them my reservation to be rudely replied to that I hadn't booked. The staff were very rude and aggressive towards me which I found completely nasty and unnecessary given I had booked a table a week in advance and had evidence on my phone of phoning up the number and booking a table. They did not have a proper reservation system and only a scrappy piece of paper which meant that they had clearly forgotten to write down my reservation.Eventually, after a lot of wasted time they eventually let us dine. The service was not attentive and was very slow, most likely due to the eat out scheme, but the staff were not friendly nonetheless, apart from one woman who was very kind and attentive towards us and apologised for the mishap. It took them one hour and 45 minutes to bring out our food.The food was, however, absolutely delicious. I had chicken korma, mushroom rice and nahn bread and my friend garlic rice with chicken tikka masala. Both were absolutely delicious and huge portions for a very reasonable price- hats off to the chef for cooking such fresh and delicious food in what was a very stressful atmosphere.As soon as we had finished eating, a member of staff came over to us and immediately asked us to hurry up and leave, which I was not impressed about, given that they had forgotten to make a note of our reservation and were so rude and almost didn't let us dine with them.I wouldn't return, nor recommend dining here to others due to horrendous customer service, but the food was very nice nonetheless. One of the staff members also needs to learn how to wear a mask properly as he had it below his nose and barely covering his mouth the whole time while serving us which was very disconcerting as there would have been potential for viral transmission.

Couldn’t fault any aspect of our meal. Service was efficient and attentive. Drinks and food arrived soon after ordering and every single curry was delicious. Very good prices and a comfortable environment. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent family meal. We enjoyed our starters of King Prawn butterfly and King Prawn Patia Purée and then a selection of curries including Chicken Rogan, Chicken Tikka Masalla and Prawn Dansak. All was cooked well and the quality was very good

This must be our 20th year of visiting this restaurant. The standard of food and lovely staff has always been excellent.Hand sanitizers and track and trace in place tables spread out and staff wearing masks all felt very safe. Well done Jaipur. See you soon.

What a find. We ordered a takeaway because we had our dog. The food is amazing. It is actually one of the best Indian meal that I’ve had. It is flavoursome and the meat tender. Staff is very friendly. We collected our food just before 7pm and the restaurant was already almost full so that is a good sign.The only challenge was getting to the restaurant. Not a local and with the one way system in place the satnav was useless. We had to self navigate in the end but it was definitely worth it.Highly recommended and we would definitely visit again.

Ordered a takeaway for myself and my wife. Tikka biryani, chicken naga and chicken Bengali. Unfortunately we were delivered a lamb naga but the restaurant rushed out the correct curry after a quick call. The curries were all excellent and as spicy as I hoped. I will definitely try them again.

Had a collection of 4 different curries which basically were the same curries of different titles, the self proclaimed ‘dansak’ was a weight watchers korma and they forgot a rice. Had to use a uncle bens which I may add was the best part of the meal. May be only a £10 but honest the chippy is better

Starting off with the good, myself and my partner saw the high review rating we decided to try this restaurant. I had chicken biriani which was lovely plenty of chicken and a lovely side dish of veg curry. Now for the bad news, partners starter was under cooked chicken pakora. Then his main of meat peshwari was terrible the meat was tough and also tikka which wasn’t what was ordered my partner doesn’t like coriander and asked for none to be in his meal, when it came there was coriander in the dish, we was asked if he wanted the dish changed but it’s a bit late when both of our mains were in front of us. They should of told him this dish already has the coriander in when he ordered. . The peshwari naan was cold my partner sent it back to be heated up. So I was happy but my partner definitely wasn’t.

Gr’eat little,Indian restaurant. Very good ,and friendly staff. Have eaten there over 10 times, and have had their special £9.95 Bargain Banquet on a Sunday or Wednesday. Really worth a try if you like goos Indian food 🥘

We moved to great yarmouth 4 months ago, we tried this restaurant, wow the food is out of this world, we have a take away at least once a week, they deliver but most times collect on way home, never ever had a bad meal, we love their food and would never eat indian anywhere else, they are extremely polite and their food is second to none!!!!

Meal great, shame about the Strongbow - woul have had 4/5 pints instead one Bud. Clean and tidy - entertained by lady who thought she was the only one in the world who had travelled and we all wanted to known about it.!!!!

Very quiet , but it was a Tuesday at about 630. Male waiter was very attentive, female waitress needed to at least smile. Service was generally good. Food was hot and a very good flavour, the best shaktori chicken I have ever had. Overall I would definitely eat here again. Price was very reasonable .

We were on holiday in Great Yarmouth and choose this for our takeaway curry. The food was absolutely delicious and at a great price. If i lived here i would definitely be a regular.

Best in Great Yarmouth by a country mile. my wife and i are from Rochdale and we love this place. The food is amazing and the staff extremely friendly. so good we went both Saturday and Sunday evening. Thanks Guys for looking after us. 5*

Ok starters, we had 3 between the two of us, the mains were excellent I had chicken Jalfrezzi with a Peshwari Nan and I had to comment on how good it was to the waiter. I cannot remember the name of my wife’s curry but it was made with shredded chicken and she was equally impressed. The service was good and the food was well priced.

I like to visit this restaurant whenever I'm in the area, and have used it for many years,and with good reason. The food is excellent, with good flavour and portions and value for money. The staff are always friendly and helpful and create a great atmosphere. If you're visiting Gt.Yarmouth this restaurant is well worth a visit.

Visited May 19 as we fancied Indian food whilst on holiday. So, first off the savoy has obviously closed down which was first choice. This place is only 5 mins away in the centre. It's ok but that's about it, pricing is fine but the service is dreadfully slow. We arrived at 6.15pm and didn't get our starter untill nearly 7.15pm, although we had drinks an hour for the starter then another 45 minutes for the main course is just too long.

We ate in the restaurant on a Saturday night and the food was great. The jalfrezi and pasanda were very tasty. Great prices too. Would recommend.

Had the "mysore" starter which got me a bit worried. However it was a yummy chicken and chilli dish. Followed by a chicken Madras and a couple of kingfishers. Friendly staff all good

Having used this takeaway a few times I have found the main portions to be very meagre and tonight it happened again. The tray was only just half full and not enough sauce for a meal . I also didn t like the keema naan . Overall the food is very well priced and the staff are friendly but you get what you pay for I guess. This restaurant and takeaway has a lot of good reviews but I'm just being honest. I won't be using this takeaway again as there are far better in town .

Had to wait an hour and forty minutes for our delivery despite ringing our order through dead on 6pm when they opened tonight .. their excuse after we phoned over an hour later was that the food wasn’t ready and they was very busy .. what within the first 2 minutes of opening !!! .. when the food did eventually arrive it was without doubt the worst food we have ever had .. it has made 2 people out of the 6 of us have upset stomachs, the curries were watery and lacked taste and were nothing like previous curries had from here before .. Jaipur you should be embarrassed of the food you served us tonight

4 of us ladies went to The Jaipur for the Wednesday Banquet special,4 courses for £9.95,it was absolutely brilliant,the staff very friendly,nothing too much trouble & of course we all took home food left over.I highly recommend this restaurant

We visited the Jaipur restaurant on Sunday evening with friends. The welcome was warm and friendly and the meal, as always was hot, tasty and plentiful. We opted for the 'meal deal' - one starter, one main, one rice/bread and a vegetable dish - all for the brilliant price of £9.95 each. Really good value for money.

Me and friends visited here for a meal and we all really enjoyed it, the food and the service were great. I had Bhuna which was very tasty my only criticism would be it wasn't very spicy, but that could be my preference.

This is our go-to Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant in Great Yarmouth, eating here about once a month, usually Sunday banquet (good value), for the last 4 years. Friendly and helpful staff, food is excellent, have never been disappointed.

They have a rather standard Bangladeshi menu. The dishes were well-prepared and certainly adequate portions given that we had prawn puri starters (I often have these and theirs was a very good one), a main each, two vegetable sides, one pilau rice and one stuffed nan. All this was for £19.90 for the two of us on a Sunday evening. The only disappointment was the nan, which my brother found under-cooked and I thought too thick.

This is a place I use frequently because, as the title says, it never disappoints. The food is excellent with good portion sizes. Tonight I had a Naga curry, really good flavour and heat. The staff are really friendly and helpful which adds greatly to the overall experience. If you're in the area give this place a try.

Went here after reading the reviews and unfortunately we were severely disappointed. Service was ok but food was miss than hit. Ordered the butter chicken which was sweet and cooked in coconut not butter!!! Mixed grill had 5 pieces of assorted chicken and lamb, very dry. Lamb biriyani was more like pilau rice with lamb pieces thrown in. None of the dishes were authentic and seemed like they were scared of seasoning the food. Naan was doughy and undercooked. Quite possibly one of the worst Indian restaurants I've eaten at.

It's a while since we have had an Indian meal but after a busy Sunday we were in town and decided to eat out rather than go home to cook. Deciding where to go we suddenly remembered we used to go to Jai Pur so booked a table. Good job we did, as arriving at 6pm it was busy but welcomed us. Sunday was buffet @£9.95pp, spoilt for choice but wow how delicious the food was with a very reasonable bottle of wine. It completed a perfect day for us and we certainly will be returning hopefully very soon.

Lovely takeaway meal with a special Sunday & Wednesday offer of a selected 4 courses for £10. A good selection to choose from so a very good choice for the price you pay. Very tasty and good sized portions. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on a Wednesday evening as it happens they do a fixed priced menu, which includes a starter, main course, side dish and rice or Nan, I believe it costs £9.99 it was delicious and the service very friendly - I wish it was our local!!!

Good choice on the menu, reasonable delivery charge. All delivered slightly early but piping hot. All tasted great. Prices were all pretty reasonable too.

We visited in April 2018. We are from Leicester so have a fair bit of ‘previous’ with Indian food. This place was a real surprise. The service was excellent nice and friendly without being overbearing and the three of us ate very well for less than £50. This is a real gem of a place we will be back.

My first visit to an Indian restaurant and pleasantly surprised, had a chicken bhuna mildly spiced and delicious. The onion bhaji was lovely. Service was excellent not a problem recommending this place for first timers
