The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Asian food

This is the 3rd time I’ve been here and I know that I am definitely not coming back. I usually go to a different restaurant but in 2 of the occasions our regular place was shut. I wouldn’t say they are racist but definitely a bit stereotypical with white people. Each time I’ve been here I was handed straight away a spoon and a fork and I had to ask for chopsticks. I like to eat with chopsticks because i think that food tastes better when you eat it with the cutlery that was originated for. And I have respect for the culture. So that put me off a little bit. But I said nevermind, let’s continue. The food was bland , no spices, no chilli, no pepper, nothing really that you would find in Chinese cuisine. The only reason I am leaving this review is because later on after we started eating, a Chinese couple came in, they were handed different menus. Now I don’t think I would have understood their menus anyway because it was written in chinese, maybe they were the same dishes that were in the menus that were handed to us but one thing I noticed: when their food came to the table, it looked like proper proper authentic chinese food like I had in many other restaurants. So this was my last experience here.

Delivery was delayed but we were notified. Food was oily and quite bland. First time ordering. Won’t bother again

I ordered on uber eats and right after they accepted my order they cancelled, got charged £1.90 fee because I paid using zilch and I won’t get it back ,third time they’ve cancelled my order so I won’t ever order from them again,why accept in the first place?

the chips were awful, looked old had all dark running through them, hard.we have indian from here all time chips never like this?? i do have pics if needed

Really lovely food. By far the best in the area. Keema bhuna and fish pakoras are excellent.

La comida tiene un sabor fantástico, auténtico y lleno de sabor, al igual que los platos que se encuentran en Asia. Cada bocado fue rico y satisfactorio, con un equilibrio perfecto de condimento y textura. Está claro que se necesita mucho cuidado en la preparación. Además, el personal era excepcionalmente amable y educado, creando un ambiente cálido y acogedor desde el momento en que llegamos. Su atento servicio realmente se sumó a la experiencia general. Ya sea que estés ansioso por algo familiar o esperando probar algo nuevo, este lugar merece la pena ser visitado. Definitivamente lo recomendaría a otros.

Food arrived over 30 mins late and luke warm at best. One of the containers wasn't sealed properly so everything was covered in phaal, as were my hands while trying to get things out the bag. The food wasn't even worth it, everything was incredibly bland with thin, watery sauce and super dry chicken.

Third time back, thought i needed to review at this point! Food was excellent as always! I love ceviche and this place never disappoints, sushi rolls were top grade. There will be a 4th time, and a 5th....

Service, food, atmosphere are at top notch. I had my breakfast with my friend here being a south Indian from hyderabad. Feels nostalgic after having my breakfast buffet which includes ghee idly, dosa, vada, pongal and poori. The standout item is gulab jamunn😍.

We order quite often from Lychee for take away, first time food was amazing, best Chinese however the last few times including only a day ago food was not great. Noodles well over cooked and mushy with no flavour,spring rolls good , prawn toast ok, pork sweet and sour not good, sauce was like a let’s syrup so sweet no flavour and the salt and pepper chicken was well over cooked and completely far too salty to eat. It was too salty last time also. Prawn crackers ok but they did not seem as fresh as they have been before, they should be cooked the same day. I’m a chef so I’m highly critical. Hope you can sort this out as I will mention it next time I order which will hopefully. It be the last time !

Cosmo is my go-to buffet restaurant. As a vegetarian, I mentioned to Ujjwol that there had been fewer options recently, and the Cosmo team specially prepared a vegan dish just for us. If you a a vegan/vegetarian, just let them know.

The most unauthentic food i have ever tasted, 3 of us went and we couldn't find a good thing to say about any of the food. If you like your asian food done well avoid at all cost. Absolute shame on you AKBARS Trying to pass your fake boil in the bag food off as restaurant quality, even the nan breads are fake like a mass produced product !

Food was good but my salmon gyoza was lacking salmon but they re did them for me and the chilli and honey chicken was nit spicy at all but was nice

excellent food with quality service, staff are friendly and nothings too much trouble. we will be back soon enough as this has become one of our favourite places to eat!
