it's the second time we've ordered from here in the last couple of weeks. Both times the food has been really flavoursome and good portion sizes too. I highly recommend Bengal Spice.

food wasn't hot, curry's were watery

First and last!! Onion bhajis were smaller than golf balls. You had to hunt for a piece of lamb in the rogan, there was hardly any, the rogan which is supposed to be mild was as spicy as a madras and the madras’s we ordered was as spicy as a vindaloo. No one enjoyed their meals so unfortunately we won’t be ordering from here again!

absolutely banging food as ever

ordered at 18:13pm and arrived at 20:10 nearly 2 hours later. food was tasty but luke warm. nan bread was burnt and crispy and the amount of chicken in both meals was well below what we normally get.

Well where do I begin…. Unsure if this was shipped directly from India but it took nearly 2 hours to arrive, missing Garlic Naan which arrived again after another 30mins and might of been tickled by a garlic clove at best. It was very nice though, I just wanted it for tea and ended up having it for breakfast

Order from here regularly but food wasn’t great tonight. One curry was cold, food ended up swimming in water from rice and poppadoms were stale like they were from the day before. Missed items on order too.

i didnt mean to order here but so glad i did, was hot on arrival, chicken was gorgeous overall very tasty and very happy.

Starters were cold and lamb in mixed kebab was very greasy, despite this it was very tasty will possibly use again but perhaps collect next time.

Has to be the worst Indian take away I have ever had the bread was soggy the food had so much oil in it the rice was hard and not moist. Never again would I order from here.

Order was missing poppadoms, got plain naan but ordered garlic naan, no salad with onion bhaji as advertised and everything but the curry was cold. Cold chips, cold bhaji, cold rice and cold naan bread. Driver had trouble finding us.

Had some nice food from here lately but tonight not so good. Onion bhaji cold, papadums in small bits. No mushrooms in mushroom pilau rice and a plain naan delivered instead of garlic naan.

Naan bread & bombay aloo was tasty. But the curry was not good. It was meant to be a sweet sauce. But this was so hot I couldn’t eat it. Overall not a great experience.

Decided to try the double layer butter chicken and it it was absolutely beautiful, all food was delicious, was delivered late and not very hot though so had to warm it in the microwave.

I rarely leave food reviews but in this instance I had to. I do like Indian food and am a bit fussy and a bit of a connoisseur - this has to be one of the best I’ve had. The chicken was of excellent quality, pure white breast meat! I ate my meal over a couple of days as I’m on holiday. Thank you for providing an excellent delivery of quality food, piping hot and very flavoursome. I’d give you more than 5* if I could, as it was that excellent.

Honestly the best curry in Paignton. It is worth money, you are paying for the quality and flavour. I’ve tried most others in the area, but this is hands down my go to. You just can’t beat it. ❤️

Avoid at all costs. Ordered £70+ worth of food at 7.15pm, that took 2 hours to be delivered. Then for us to be missing parts of our order, which then my dad could not eat because he didn't have his rice. I ate a small amount of my food, then for me to no longer be hungry. We call the takeaway about the missing items, they said they would get someone out to us straight away. 30 minutes later still no food, they had delivered it to the wrong address. Called again and told we had to talk to foodhub to get it sorted. After going backwards and forwards with them, they said we could have a refund for the missing items. But no compensation was offered for all of this and after asking for compensation, they said there was none to give. Absolutely disgusted service from both Bengal spice and food hub. The biggest shame is that the food was nice, but they have lost a house of customers and and future money from us.

Goes by the name gangees on just eat but it’s not it’s the company named above . Had a curry last Saturday and was fantastic realy tasty . Fast forward a week and we had a curry tonight from here and it’s honestly the worst Indian we have ever had . The prawn puree was the same sauce that was on my jalfrezi and it was realy disgusting and sweet . The keema naan has little tiny bits of crumbled up meat cooked into the naan bread rather than sandwiched inbetween . We won’t be returning what a shame .

food was undercooked food was also cold and the chicken had pink and i took a bite out of one piece and it was pink all the way through not happy and have requested a refund

Ordered some takeaway and it is without doubt the worst curry we’ve ever had. For some reason both of our curries were ridiculously sweet, like as if they mixed up the sugar and salt shakers. Both of us were unable to finish our meals, extremely disappointed!
