Aroy mak mak! We had a lovely time here, excellent food that brought me back to Thailand. Seabass was fantastic. The staff are so friendly too. Looking forward to heading back and I think will be my go to for takeaway too from now on.

We enjoyed Local Thai. Food was tasty and in good size serving, Service was prompt and friendly. We felt that they were there to help us. Only (small) complaint was the stir fried mixed vegetables came out as another curry. Restaurants like this deserve to succeed.

If you are not ordering starters, be ready to be kicked out. If you are not ordering drinks, be ready to discriminated against. If you are a person of color be ready to be discriminated against, even though there are person of color serving in this place. Very old, unprofessional and rude staff run this place. Smells unpleasant and sweaty as you enter, similar to enclosed BYOB drinking spaces you would find in Thailand, Nepal and India. We were not served any food and I am sure it would have been spit on if we carried on ordering as they didn't want to serve us at all. We were simply not allowed to order what we wanted and were forced to order more. We simply got up and left after server engaged in a repetitive "they are not happy" conversation. I don't know who 'they' are. Have never had this experience in any Thai place or anywhere else for that matter before.

taste is so so and a bit disappointed because not nice as thai cuisine. Green curry is a bit salty without rich green curry favor, squid has no taste. it relies on the dip sauce, the honey duck has no honey favor, just sweet and chili sauces. Overall seem it lacks of good balance of thai herbs. If you are the one who used to have Thai cuisine in Asia, you may expect these are below expectation for Thai dish. The good side is all dishes are really hot when served.

Delicious takeaway from this restaurant, We really enjoyed all of the food and would definitely use again if in the area again.

With my wife being Thai (and having lived there myself for many years), we often find ourselves searching for the local Thai restaurant in whatever town or city we are visiting. Whilst looking very unassuming from the outside, this Thai was up there with one of the best, we both really liked, flavours were very authentic and staff were attentive and friendly. If you love Thai food then you wont be disappointed!

Wife and myself ate here last Saturday, we were lucky enough to get a table and was swiftly served, starters came and were so tasty and presented, when the main dishes got served we were wowed they were so good with everything sizzling away on the hot plates. Have to say one of the best Thai meals that we have ever had, just amazing.

Poor.... People with ALLERGIES or VEG/VEGAN are not welcome. We visited last not to be turned away. I understand the risk of eating out and its my risk. But to be told point blank no is shocking its 2024... staff had np awareness of allergens in foods, no allergy menu and then tobe told they use the same wok for everything is just scary. Gutted as the food looked amazing.

The loveliest Thai. We’ve been here twice now. Found it by chance when we came to a family event a few months ago and came here again for our wedding anniversary. Just to eat here again. I wish I was local so I could visit more often! The food is utterly delicious and simply beautiful to look at as well as eat! The service is the smiliest and so welcoming. I can’t wait to come back again.

It was a reasonable meal, but nothing special. Pretty bland tasting rice, spent £30+ and no complimentary crackers. Delivered in good time, but not not the tastiest. Used another local Thai restaurant recently and food was much fresher and tastier.

Cannot rate this place highly enough! The Tom Yum soup was absolutely delicious, the best I've ever had, and I have eaten in Thai restaurants all over the UK, South Africa, Mediterranean islands, etc! My wife had the Chicken Pad Thai, and she was equally impressed. Service was very friendly and efficient.

This has to be the best Thai restaurant. We opted for set B meal and there was an abundance of food. It's was so tasty you didn't know where to start. The staff we very attentive but not over powering just there in case you needed something. Well worth money. Totally satisfied. 100% worth a visit.

It’s a nice little restaurant near the front. Both the food and the service was very good. The only criticism was that the back door was constantly open, making the restaurant absolutely freezing !

Had dinner here with my wife on a Monday night in April.. The restaurant was quite busy. This was our first time here, and chose it on looking at reviews. We weren't disappointed. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. I had the lamb shank curry with coconut rice. My wife had the Thai Red curry with coconut rice. Prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

One of the best Thais we’ve ever had! Food was insane and the service was more than a delightful experience. Staff were so bubbly and happy to accommodate. Overall, really good experience and very reasonable price wise. Would recommend for anyone looking for great authentic Thai food with something for everyone, definitely coming back again to try! X

we ordered 1. 2. 18. 19. 55. Cost £52.60 the mixed platter (1) is amazing it’s fair value for money and vary tasty green curry (19)and rice (55) was good 10/10 the sea food salad yum talay (18)was lush 9.5/10 wish it had prawns over then that amazing thank you for not adding tomatoes and lowering the spice slightly do recommend will be coming back for more of dumplings and food vary happy

We hadn’t booked but they had some free tables and we were warmly welcomed and shown to one. We ordered the set vegetarian menu for two. The mixed platter was very nice. The main course was a green curry, a mixed vegetables with cashew nuts, and a pad thai. Very generous portions and all delicious. We unfortunately couldn’t quite finish it all. We will definitely come here again when we’re next in Paignton.

We ate here having travelled to the area for work. The food was excellent and it was great value for money. We shared a mixed starter for 2 and then had the sticky duck and a king prawn dish. All our choices were very good and the portion sizes were ample without being overwhelming. Would definitely return if we were back in the area.

Don’t let the surroundings fool you, this is a great little Thai restaurant serving delicious, authentic dishes, with good portions, value for money and lovely, friendly Thai staff and cooks. Highly recommended 😊👍

We had been there before and they recognised us and made us feel right at home. Got to practice a little of our Thai. I had the sizzling beef absolutely fantastic. Izzy had the Massaman Chicken Curry. No room for dessert.

Excellent food quality and preparation. With a well-balanced menu, living up to the diversity and versatility of the Thai cuisine. I highly recommend the 'Local Thai set menu for two', which covers highlights of this restaurant.

Highly recommend this place. The food is absolutely delicious. We shared the starter platter to try a mix of items and each one was so tasty. Especially the dumplings!! My seafood main was flavoursome, and spicy. You couldn't have asked for better service. A real treat. Definitely coming back again as I want to try the soup.

Best Thai food I’ve had in eons! Everything was very fresh and beautifully seasoned. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Travelling solo I don’t tend to eat in restaurants often but occasionally I make an exception. I ate here a few years ago and really enjoyed it so thought I’d see if it was still as good. It was. After being seated and given food and drink menus I was left for a few minutes in peace. I ordered a green chicken curry with sticky rice and a Diet Coke. All arrived promptly and with a smile. The meal was lovely, just the right amount of “heat” and a good sized portion. Eaten quickly, paid and left with no fuss. For me that’s ideal, highly recommended

Really nice place which looked modern and clean. Food was really nice and the staff were really friendly. Price wise the food was slightly on the high side but what makes it expensive is the price of drinks which is usually the case when there are no draught beers available.

I walked in last night, had a very warm welcome and noticed everything is clean and tidy . The food was equally as good as the welcome, great barbeque ribs followed by stir fried ginger and chicken. It feels like the people running the restaurant care about the customer and the food they are serving. Look forward to going back

It was 3rd time visiting here I decided too start off with duck spring rolls starter followed by stir fried chicken with ginger and egg fried rice it was all fantastic will definitely be returning next time I'm in Paignton

10/10 bruh Amazing Thai restaurant I love this place and i waited a year just to eat this amazing food Atmosphere is great makes me want to learn more about Thailand and Siam The service was top notch The food was amazing especially the singapore noodles and beef oyster sauce (both are great and rich in flavour) I definately reccomend and the travel all the way from Cambridgeshire to Paington was more than worth it :)

This is probably the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to, if not the best restaurant in general. The food is so flavourful, I'm literally salivating just thinking about it. We got the red, massaman, and jungle curries as well as the Pad Khee Mao noodles (I think that was the name), and all of them were sooooooo gooooood! If it seems pricey, then don't worry because the large portions make up for it. I probably wouldn't even bother getting any starters since the food is so filling. The only downside was the sticky rice, which felt like it had been made from a packet, and there wasn't much of it either. The steamed rice is much better since it looks like it is made fresh.

My partner and I came on a 7 day trip to paignton and we wanted some delicious food. We ordered pork dumplings, tempura prawns, beef pad thai, and Chicken Singapore noodles. Everything tasted super fresh and the prawns were to die for! Thanks for the awesome service

This was the highlight of a recent trip to the area. It was so good the first night, we went back the next night. Service was brilliant, super friendly and timely, the food was on a par with food we have eaten on several visits to Thailand. Portion size is really good with very reasonable prices. Just loved it, shame it is so far from us. Highly recommended.

This was our Second Visit to this Restaurant , our Previous Visit was seamless and the food so Tasty, anyway we came back for a Second Visit and WOW we were not disappointed, from the Friendly Thai Greeting to our Yummy Selection of Thai Good...

Expensive and not that good, the best thing on the menu was the Tiger beer. I should have realised that it wasn't that good as there were only two other people in there eating
