88 Noodle Bar in Kirklees

Just this minute been to pick up my order highly dissappointed noodles have no flavour the bbq ribs are fatty and needed to go back in oven. Over priced for quality of food. My regular chinese was shut. And i get more food and flavour for less money with my regular chinese.Will not order here again it really has gone down hill since the last time i ordered . Lady in the shop was lovely which is probably the only positive i could say on this review. I would rather go without now than be dissapointed nothing worse than paying and looking forward to some food and it being a total let down.

Nice Chinese food in Hudderfield centre. The place is not fancy but the food is yummy. I ordered 2 very simple signature Chinese dishes and I am happy with them. Price is cheap anw and big portion.

the duck was delicious and everything was fresh.. the salt and pepper chips was a bit disappointing didn't have much Peppers and onion and chilli.. but overall the noodles were delicious and so was the chicken fried rice... but the duck was 10/10 delicious

Literally the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. I ordered chicken stir fried noodles with vegetables, which I thought sounded fresh and healthy, but what arrived was a tray of brown greasy, salt-laden sludge that I wouldn’t feed to my dog. No veg.

Can't believe that they won't deliver to my house. I have used this company for the last 15 years, I have just moved house. Yet they say its to far to deliver. My old address is 2.5 miles away from the restaurant the new address is 2.9. I would even pay the 0.4 mile difference. You already charge £5.00 for delivery anyway.

A nice little Chinese restaurant/takeaway. Though the decoration is outdated and it is a small place, the boss was friendly and the food there is amazing, and will not cost you a fortune! Great for some casual eating after work or a takeaway.

A genuine hidden gem of Huddersfield ! We came to this restaurant on a wild card decision, and were far from disappointed. Despite a slight language barrier the service was incredibly friendly and helpful, and there was a genuine sense of care from the owner for his customers. The food was incredibly quick to come out and is definitely the best Chinese food I've had in Huddersfield, and more than likely the best Asian food I've had here as well. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

Noodle soup was very bland and tasteless. Extremely disappointing. Dumpling starter was delicious though. And pork in ginger and spring onion lovely though not much ginger!

Good variety of tasty food and fast service, but a bit salty and too much MSG. I was pretty thirsty after the meal. The restaurant is in desperate need for a refurbishment.

First of all delivery driver was really polite which is always nice when getting an order. Ordered mainly vegetarian food which was not only well cooked but tasty too. Some other places I have came across either rip you off with portion size or are poorly cooked. But this place made everything spot on. Mushroom foo yung (omelette, mushrooms, onions) was absolutely lovely! Soft noodles was cooked exceptionally.

Absolutely the best Chinese meal me and my grandson have had in years, thank you. I recommend 88 Noodle Bar to everyone.

First time.ordering here. It was absolutely beautiful. Food came piping hot Noddles and sweet and sour chicken were full of flavour and not sour. The only downside was the salt and pepper chips. They just tastes like normal chips? Other than than you will see us again soon

Bit pricey but very good quality and tasty

Special fried rice was lovely but the sweet and sour chicken was hard. The worst part of the meal was the spare ribs in ok sauce which were no bigger than 1/2” in size and hidden in onions. The OK sauce was tasteless (as was the sweet and sour). We ate a couple of the tiny ribs (which were impossible to eat without getting broken bits of bone in your mouth) and threw the rest away. Really poor meal. I don’t leave reviews normally but I’m appalled that my week’s treat went in the bin and we’re all still hungry. We don’t have money to waste, especially at the moment!

Absolutely shocking Could not place an order as staff did not understand me and charged way over... . Very rude who answered phone will never order from here again rude customer service!!!! Had a call back and also was spoken to rudely never ever again such unfortunate as 1 bloke that works there so friendly others... all I vam sadly say what an absolute let down!!!!!

There are some negatives about this restaurant. It is well overdue for refurbishment, the tables are wiped down with a damp cloth without spraying and the toilets have no hand drying facilities. However, I am a frequent visitor because the food is great here. It is hot, tasty and very reasonably priced. The service is very quick and the staff are welcoming and friendly. If you want a cheap and cheerful venue with great food, look no further than the Noodle Bar

This Restaurant is very friendly, if you understand some Chinese. Staff open to conversation and there is a wide variety of menu. Chef are open to customer requests. Despite microwave on display, it was not used during my time there (was there for 1 hour). Food is good with a variety of flavour, different to Western food. If I were to rate the food out of 10 it would be a 9.1. Has nice decor look and has photos of their genuine food on their own menu. For those wanting bubble tea, it's better if you go somewhere else, if you can't wait a few extra minutes,because the tapioca is prepared fresh. This place is solid and I'm happy to go back again.

The food was absolutely unbelievable. The best takeaway we’ve had in a fair old while. The only gripe was it said 35-50 mins to deliver, and was well over an hour, but if you’ve got time to wait, it’s well worth it.

Honestly disappointed, our meals were a do-it-yourself toolkit, the king prawns were prawns, the noodles were vermicelli pasta, and the soup was basically boiled water with vegetable stock. The meat of the duck was not even shredded, it was a whole duck. Seriously, what a waste.

The chicken in yellow bean sauce is fabulous , they deliver on time the food is hot and they are polite.

The women on the phone kept asking me what did I want her to do about it and if I was going to waste was I was given. She wasn’t looking to send me what I actually ordered! Nice food, good sized portions, and swift delivery. Must say, there was a prawn in my sweet and sour chicken. Not a problem for me, but just something to keep an eye out for in the future as this could really affect someone with a serious allergy.

Ordered half a crispy duck and I was delivered 2 duck legs with barely enough meat on to feed one person. Skin was very fatty and also over cooked. Thoroughly disappointed as when I usually order half a Crispy duck, that is what is usually delivered. Misrepresentation and a complete rip off.

Food is nice but i wanted a simple Boba tea. It took more than half an hour. Everytime I come ask for this tea the man is never in the shop but out gallivanting. We have to wait 20 min for him to just arrive. Ended up taking my money back. Not happy at all.

disgusting experience from this restaurant, greasy food chips were soggy and they sent the wrong order. When i called to complain they refused a refund and brought me the correct order which was prawn instead of pork. I am muslim and cant eat pork, after the lady on the phone being extremely rude.
