I get food from this takeaway rarely but whenever I order I dread that it’s gona be aweful and every time they prove me right . I am not exaggerating but their food smell actually makes me feel sick and yesterday when I ordered a chicken karahi me and my daughter just didn’t like the smell of it I managed to eat a small portion of it as i I was very hungry and had a busy day so didn’t have enough time to cook but what a waste of money I am very disappointed and don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again. I was looking forward to food from here but the experience turned out to be a disastrous one . That’s it for me now never will I order from here again. You are meant to enjoy food not to dread food. My fault for once again trusting this place but can’t keep trusting them now . It was horrible . sorry but I am just being honest

I ordered a lamb biryani was more rice than lamb and no taste as I told the shop as asked for Asian version with no oil it had that as said could not get out.

Very well presented. The delivery driver followed the instructions on how to navigate the complex so we weren’t walking about trying to find each other like most other takeaways. The food was very good quality and hot.

Terrible food! The worst lamb biriyani I ever had in my life, can’t even call it a biriyani tbh. Uncooked meat and over cooked rice soaked in a terrible masala. Would never go back or recommend to anyone.

The absolute best in the business. The best food in Huddersfield if not yorkshire! Honestly they never let me down the curries are 10/10 and everything is always cooked to perfection, honestly never leave reviews but after atleast a 100 curries I thought it’s about time I did 😂 no on a serious note tho if you haven’t tried it make sure you do. The foods better than a lot of the big restaurants around town for less than half the price and not just the food that’s 10/10 but so is the service. Boss man is the nicest and most politest guy you will ever meet and always makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Honestly guys keep smashing it and hope nothing but the best for you 👏

Shame your staff pulled a face this evening when I wanted to pay by card. I appreciate that there is a cost but I had no cash. It was quite off putting to get such a reaction compared to the normal happy go lucky way that Lahori usually shows

I do not normally write a review but having used this takeaway for over 2 years I can honestly say this is the best authentic curry in Huddersfield. I have looked for the perfect chicken tikka massalla and trying numerous outlets I finally found this place the ultimate best. We have recently ordered different dishes to accompany my tikka massalla and just as delicious . Always arrive prompt on the time asked and hot and fresh. Delivery drivers are so polite and friendly. If you want an authentic curry to eat at home for an affordable price but restaurant quality, this is the place to order from.

I never leave review on takeaways but this one is a must by far the best curry place we have been for the past few months food is just delicious never disappointed and you do not have to wait long neither staff are so polite and friendly everytime defo recommended the lamb kahrie

Chicken khari is amazing, the best I've ever had and thats why i dont go anywhere else. Very clean and everything is cooked fresh. Staff are a credit to this place, especially the chef. Highly recommend.

As a regular connosieur of Chicken Karahis, I can always count on Lahori taste in Huddersfield to provide a consistent standard of characterful taste, with fresh quality ingredients, good portion sizes and excellent pricing. Lahori always manages to maintain the same standard on every visit. Consistency is key to finding a good curry house, and here is where you will find a consistently good curry.

Nice good tasty food !! The place is not special or fancy but then again they dont try to be. The food is amazing and made fresh as ordered. The prices are very cheap and not expensive at all. The staff are really friendly and can do enough for you. Love visiting here for a quick meal with the lads.

Get seikh kababs from here best in town and also chicken Karahi verry good

Fast cheap delicious. Not Amjad of Huddersfield delicious, but delicious nonetheless. Tell them how you like it and they accommodate. Lamb spinach particularly good.

Visit last night and ordered chicken and chips and chicken fillet meal. Chicken was spicy which I didn't ask for and fillet meal was grilled which I didn't ask for. I would avoid at all costs. No wonder all staff were sitting around as not that busy. That gluten free takeaway next door had more customers including me.

When you eat in, there is not a place in Huddersfield that serves better food, however when you do a take away, the food often is not as good. So my tip is to eat in and enjoy fantastic food.

Lahori Taste very near to where I live and we have ordered food from here several times and it was good. However this time it was horrendous and made me very unwell. I will not be ordering from these place ever again.

Come her regularly for kebabs and curries. Always nice,if a little hot for my tastes. Curries aren't full of grease like some places either.

We went to Lahori yesterday evening again, why change when its not broken!! As usual the curries were absolutely delicious. No airs and graces or plush seating etc but who needs that when the food is this good? There was four of us and we shared a fish curry and a chicken curry. Mouth watering seriously good. Chapatis and naan basically on tap if you need more dont worry they will make sure you have plenty. The price was excellent.

Usually we have takeaway once in month this it it was Lahore Taste and honestly it was worth it, price was OK and food was great was recommended by one if friend and now I would recommend everyone who read this review great

Starters nice and fresh . The main 3 different dishes ordered were all very similar in taste tbh as if the same stock had been used . Very basic seating you defiantly know you been to a curry house once you leave from the smell of your cloths . Main curries very average . Won't go back in a hurry . Service not great either .

Lahori Taste is a small take away With BIG flavours. Our was a phone ordered , although they do have a small seating area . staff were polite friendly and very professional . we ordered seek kebabs and tandoori rotis. With side salads and chutney. Seekh kebabs were fresh tasty and succulent. I would recommend Lahori Taste to all my friends and family.. I'm a foodie and this place caters AMAZING FOOD.

I've been going here for 5 years now and the standards have started to slip which is unfortunate as it used to be amazing. There are 2 problems now, the first is the portion size which has drastically reduced and second is the delivery time. They used to deliver within 35 minutes consistently but now it's always 60-70 minutes no matter what day or time you order. The lamb karahi and the Lahori special naan kebab are really really tasty. I would highly recommend. I hope they improve things in the following months to come.

The aroma emanating from here as we walked past was enough to get the hunger pangs going. A few beers in the pub next door then back to Lahori to eat. We decided to eat in as there were a couple of tables. The food here is top notch. Full of flavour and spice. Staff were very friendly indeed. It seems we have found a decent curry house at long last. Roll on the next visit.

Good food and opens late. The curry is average but the starters, kebabs and burgers etc are very good. A little small but I suppose it's because it caters mostly for takeaways. Thumbs up.

Ordered a mild chicken jalfrezi from these guys as part of a larger order with a colleague from work. The only way I can sum it up would be to imagine you tried making a curry out of one of those fluorescent puts of curry sauce you get from your local chippy. I've seen bigger chunks of chicken in a pot noodle. The veg was just random bits of badly cut up green peppers and 1 token piece of tomato.My colleague informs me this restaurant has apparently won awards for its food. Think it must have been the chef's night off when he made mine!!

Was informed that this place offer e good food. Unfortunately, their delivery service is useless. Having not had our food delivered to a public house a half hour after they said it would arrive, we called them and was told that it was our fault as their driver didn't like the smell of beer and had taken the order back saying that we refused to go outside to get it off him when in fact we didn't even know he was there. Pathetic excuse to say the least.

I came here recently with 4 other people. Due to it being Ramadan, no doubt we was all hungry and opted for 4 different dishes - a chicken dish, lamb dish, keema dish and a mix dish. The chef knew how to cook it with plenty of coriander and additional spices, slow cooked. The results, very good. No complaints a generally tasty. The only thing that lets it down was the fact that the salad portion is quite small - in fact very small. But all in all, not bad and will visit again.
