RAJDOUTH INDIAN RESTAURANT in Milton Keynes

This place is going down hill fast. Small portions, bland side dishes and an amazingly rude owner. I’m not recommending this place at all.

Absolutely fantastic food, generous portions, excellent friendly staff.Great service.an all-round great experience. We will definitely be returning.

We ordered the set meal for 4 people with a couple of extras. The food was plentiful, fresh and tasted delicious. The owner and waiters were very friendly. When I mentioned that I was here with family to celebrate my early 70th birthday, a slice of cake arrived with sparkly candle for me. We will certainly return soon and will recommend to friends.

As a fairly regular customer I was greeted by Muss on arrival. I am usualy a creature of habit in what I order but for a change and undecided I went with Muss' recomendation . Naga lamb,sag aloo,garlic mushroom, nan. absolutely top notch.The attention to detail that Muss and his team give to his customers, new and old is why this is my MK curry house of choice.

One of the best places to go for a curry, the flavors explode in your mouth. I have been going for a while and will say they have not allowed there Quality to drop with the team making sure your food is as you want it and if you are not happy trying all they can to make you happy. I ordered the Lamb Tika bhuna Bulti but I like more sauce that it normally comes with and so asked and when it arrived I was overjoyed as it came with a nice sauce portion extra so I could really enjoy the flavors. I have had no issues with Ordering what I want and I'm a picky customer when it comes to Curries. I wish the team the best as they are so amazing.

Visited for our wedding anniversary and was absolutely stunned not only for the quality and authentic flavours of the food but literally amazed by the tentative, warm and friendly staff that make it an experience that has surpassed any expectations. SAS and his team are the most welcoming, friendly and efficient in this cosy, intimate restaurant.

Usually have a Friday night takeaway at New Raj Douth with no complaints. But tonight we ate in to celebrate David’s 50th Birthday. The food and service was absolutely amazing. Thanks Muz, great evening 👍🏻

We ordered a takeaway, and it was nothing short of disgusting. Call to complain, and was told to go elsewhere in future.. the owner is rude and obnoxious. Please avoid this place.

Really impressed, the food was extremely tasty, jucy and moist, I have never eaten anywhere, where the food tastes exactly the way my brain imagined it! I'm won over!!!! new regular thank you for the mouth watering food. I've eaten my self so full, my taste buds are mad at my stomach for not being able to eat anymore.

Muss and his boys, as aiways hit the spot. My 8 year old grandson had a great night with me my son and a very close friend on his first lads night curry.Not only was the food top notch.as always but he was treated as every other customer and invited to choose his meal his way.Because he could not pay his own bill there was some banter about washing up, and he got to meet the backroom boys. This emphesises the New raj douth. Not only will they give you great food and service, They will strive to enhance your night.

Ordered a meat thali delivery. It cost £18.95. The containers were so small it was unbelievable. I'd already paid on card and wish I hadn't as I would have sent it back. The contents wouldn't feed a child let alone an adult. Never again

Went there last night with my family as this is very local to me, we had already decided to have the banquet deal as it seemed reasonably priced at 9.95 per head. When we got there the owner welcomed us very warmly and the disappeared, to cook I presume and we were left with the waiters. The waiter we had was indeed unimpressive, when he took our order from the very limited banquet menu ( anywhere else you can choose from the whole menu but not here) he did not say a word, when he brought the starters he either handed them to you or threw them down in front of you, when he brought out the mains my plate was very dirty, not just a little but noticeably dirty, I had to stand up and ask another waiter to change it as mine had vanished, we waited so long after our mains were cleared away to try and get our coffee, which was included in the price, that we eventually gave it up as never going to happen. In the end as we could not get the attention of our waiter we just stood up and went to the bar to pay and leave. We got no thank you or let me get the door for youWe have been loyal customers ever since this restaurant opened up for business, but it will be a long time before I go back again, which is a shame.The only reason I am giving it two stars is due to the quality of the meal, which was very good, it's a shame about everything else.

we called at 7:30pm to be told 45min wait, actually had taken 1 and a half hour, food was luke warm and when dishing up we found we had not got the food we had ordered. we called and explained and he said he will send more food over, i said there is no point and explained we are very disappointed in the quality and we will not be ordening from them again.... The chicken i had was tough and very dry, it is such a shame as we have used these every month and has been lovely up until now, we had to throw most of the dinner away..... such a shame it really is

Este restaurante es excelente comida. Un competidor, el Grange, estimadas en Mk, es más acerca de los propietarios respecto personal para sí y la venta de bebidas. Raj Douth, es propiedad de un hombre muy humilde, que claramente está interesada en ofrecer sus clientes con excelente comida. Excelente comida, bien preparada y presentada. This is my regular haunt, being that it is within walking distance from the house. My neighbour and I go there on a semi-regular basis, and because we walk, can have a few drinks as well.

The food at the raj douth is good, the only down side of the place is its a little pricey compared to most other places, but on the whole it's worth it.

Raj Douth was always our Indian take away of choice, the food is always tasty, freshly cooked and gives you a good fill. However we stopped going as we felt we were overcharged every time we went. The take away menu states if you take it with you they will give you 20% off. The members of staff who take the order say they have given you 20% off but I beg to differ. We thought we'd give it another try and again we have been overcharged. We have calculated our order ourselves and if they have really given us the 20% off, like they say, then they have overcharged us by £7! They only ever show you an amount at the bottom and don't issue a proper receipt. If it was only the for the food we would return, but we don't like the feeling of being ripped off, especially as we are regular customers. We won't be returning.

Very expensive for the three course meal and wine that we had. Not good value for money. I asked for no peas and they couldn't do this, my meal came with peas as veg already made up apparently. Never known an Indian restaurant not able to make changes before. Service was slow. Some regulars in that seem to get all the attention. Won't be going back.

Mothers Day last minute evening Take away, best one we have ever had! I forgot to order a dish, they cooked it straight away, brilliant! We had tandoori king prawns, Tika Masala, lamb rogan, chicken Korma, Fantastic!!!

Visited on the basis of tripadvisor reviews. I have to say when I walked in there were worrying signs. Let's just describe the restaurant as 'basic'. Also it was completely empty apart from myself!

Went for my sons 18th and was only waited on by the owner as no one else around. Drinks were flat and the food was tasteless. The owner then disappeared and left a "can't be bothered" waiter. Highly disappointing, very expensive and empty (I wonder why)!!!!! Always used as a takeaway for 10 years but never again.

Visit here occasionally, due to the range of restaurants in MK rather than for any other reason. Food is always good, staff are helpful and will tweak dishes.

Took two friends here when they visited me in September. It was the first time I had dined there although I had previously had several take-always. The staff are friendly, but not over the top. The food was excellent and the service was spot on. My friends were extremely impressed. One of them even suggested it was the best indian restaurant he had eaten in. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

A lovely meal, with staff who help people such as me who cannot take strong spices. After a long time when I could not persuade my husband to go to any Indian restaurant, he now suggests we go here. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and will help you choose dishes which will suit your requirements. Also excellent value for money, although wine is a bit expensive, as with all such restaurants.

Good food, well cooked and pleasantly served. Don't go on an evening when football is on, unless bad language does not bother you. Also keep away from the back door when choosing your table, as sometimes the smoke blows in from the smoking area

Please note that I am a curry lover, I go to many restaurants to try and found my best now, I gave tried this restaurant now 4 times in the last 6weeks and I have got to say excellent all round. The service second to none. Keep up.

Came here last week with a good friend because we felt like having a beer and a curry. My friend has eaten here with his family on a number of occasions and the staff greeted him warmly. I was new to the restaurant and still felt welcome.

This restaurant is actually my local Indian, and a semi-regular destination for my neighbour and me, about four times per year. The standard is consistently high, although there was one small blemish on our latest visit. Our starters, normally delivered on a sizzling hot iron plate with all the trimmings, were pre-served on plates straight from the kitchen. The food was lukewarm, although still tasty. We brought this to the attention of the owner, and he was most apologetic, and removed them from the bill. I was gratified to see that after our 'word', the next door table was served correctly.;

We came here two years ago for a birthday meal, which was wonderful. As a group this year me and some others came here after our local restaurant had no tables available for the night.

Had a lovely eat-in at this restaurant and thought it would be a good choice for a take-away. We ordered as a walk-in and it took about 20 minutes for food to be ready at 6pm, so easy to wait at the bar.

Decided to give this restaurant a try over our usual, is always good to have something to compare against; I was the instigator, I thought it looked quite attractive/presentable from the outside looking in....... It was smaller inside than expected, and though I had called in an hour earlier to check availability (and was assured we would be ok, no need to book) it was full when we arrived and we had to wait at the bar.

So glad this place has finally been added to Trip Advisor.
