Beautiful curry. Our favourite. Hard to find a good one nowadays where we live but this is tatsy, fresh, not dry and delicious.

Great welcome. Great service by very friendly staff. Food fantastic and very reasonable. We had the Sunday buffet and it was just so tasty, especially the chicken tikka starter, really beautifully cooked, the best I have had for years. The whole visit was excellent, definitely recommend it. Definitely will be returning.

Amazing Venue and food! I would highly recomend. We enjoy a Take away from the Kardoman Lounge too. The freindly Delivery Drivers always turn up promtly and the food is hot.

Exceptional food is the signature of Kardamom lounge, quality Indian food of another level compared even to other good places in Stony Stratford. They did a wonderful birthday dinner for 10 people, the service on a Sunday lunchtime was exceptional.

Some of the tastiest and generous servings I've ever had. Full value for money and I would highly recommend going here.

Really tasty fresh food. I have stopped going out for curry because I am so disappointed by the “same old, same old”, however this was a delight. It was banquet night, Wednesday, and amazing value for £14.95 a head. I had the lamb chops, chicken dansak, and a vegetable curry. Wonderful clean flavours, no oil to be seen either. My naan was delightful too. We had good service. Highly recommend.

We were at the Kardamon Lounge last night for dinner with my brother and sister in law. It was their first time there and I think they were both really impressed. The staff are so lovely - always so welcoming and such good fun. KC had us all laughing. The food was delicious too by the way! Thank you for looking after us. We really enjoyed our evening out. Kardamon Lounge remains our favourite Indian restaurant in MK.

Ordered delivery. Chicken Madras. Damask king prawn … I asked for it to be as spicy as madras. Nan . Tandoori roti. Sag aloo. Absolutely delicious. Best curry we have had for a while. Fresh tasting ingredients and freshly made. Delivery driver lovely too.

My friend and I dined here one evening on a fluke. Looking for a place open late night.. they welcomed us with a smile. From the off KC our waiter was friendly, attentive, funny and polite. Engaging in conversation, and keen to get to know us. A brilliant touch. I order from here often, but this is a first at eating in.. I will make it a regular restaurant if choice! The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Could not ask for more. Thank you guys!

I went to this restaurant today.. I didn’t have a booking but they saw me straight away, which was nice.. The waiter sat me down at the table but the restaurant was really cold. The waiter said I can move at the front which is warmer, which is what we did. Without me even saying they even got an electric fan which was nice… I traveled from Luton just to eat here. The reviews said good service and food. Thought it would be like other restaurants and be okay/ standard, but the service was soo good… was actually excellent. Went above and beyond thought our time there.. Food was really nice and not like other Bengali restaurants where food is bland this had loads and loads of flavour.. was spot on.. Won’t come back as this was too far for me especially having a little one but if I was local this would be one I go to every week. No service charge which shows the business doesn’t need to force their customers to pay.. Can’t give this place anything less than 5 star.. Keep up the good effort… keep the prices reasonable as you are and I can assure you you will be number one in the area.

What ever you do don’t come after 9pm, as they clearly want you to go home early, every time we come late, they look at their watches and make snarky comments about when they close!

We visited with a group of 11 and were extrememely well looked after by KC and the whole team. All dishes were excellent; tasty, plentiful and very well presented as always. We visit every few weeks in a small group and keep returning. I was impressed how the standards didnt slip at all with the bigger numbers on this occassion and all meals being delivered in a timely way at the same time. Great work all.

Went in to order a takeaway and was told around 20 minutes, got a pint whilst I waited before proceeding to wait a total of 50 minutes for our takeaway… being told five minutes each time he walked past

I live in Texas, when I come to visit family I always go to the Kardamom Lounge. The food and service has always been outstanding. Our waiter this time was KC. He was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time.

Wow what ever Shef was working on 20th November 2023 you should keep them full time. The food was spot on 100% the best vindaloo I've ever eaten plus they read the extra notes on orders done over there website. Been using this place for 15 plus years now.

Had dinner here on Sunday and it was amazing! Fresh, tasty delicious meal with impeccable service! The staff are always willing to help and assist with meals and different dietary requirements. There was 7 of us in our Sunday hungry party. Everybody loved their meals. They cater for all and are even super brilliant returning your belongings to you when you forget to take them home with you!!!! I love Indian and Bangladeshi food! I was staying at the Old George over the road and fancied either an Italian, Thai or Indian meal for dinner and opted for here. The food and spices used are made with great care and blend. I love eating all over the world and I admire great tasting food with high quality ingredients. I’m also a really fussy eater and whilst being vegetarian I don’t always like the usual vegetable dishes. I asked for their chickpea side dish to be put with a tikka masala sauce and the blend was sensational, when you find a really top quality restaurant you will be able to taste every individual flavour and spice used, it was brilliant. The rest was the usual naan and rice etc. i usually stay in Milton Keynes Central for work once a month but now I’m going to opt to stay around this area and visit this restaurant each time I come too. Great people work here as well, very knowledgable about the spices and the care taken in what they do.

My first dining experience of Indian cuisine in the United Kingdom would not have been successful without the Team at Kardamom Lounge. A highly enthusiastic, generous and welcoming wait staff awaits you. KC was both entertaining and highly proficient in his service, the food was above and beyond expectations. All the while the drinks and condiments flowed with the great service on offer. Nestled in cosiness of Stoney Stratford is this gem of culture and captivation. To any Aussies visiting this part of the UK, this is a must.

I ordered squid as a starter. When I cut into the squid rings, the membrane was still present & it was like thick elastic bands & I struggled to cut it. I explained to the waiter that the squid had not been cleaned properly & asked that he return it to the kitchen. He offered an alternative but I politely declined & said I was happy to wait for my main. However, I was shocked when a few minutes later, he returned with the plate & started to quite loudly explain to me that "this is nothing to do with cleaning" and was holding the squid ring up in the air with sauce dripping from it. I said "I eat squid a lot & that membrane should be removed because it is tough & rubbery" but he continued to challenge me. Eventually I had to say "Please stop. Don't bring it back to the table like that. Please take it away". By the way, during this exchange my husband is trying to enjoy his starter ! I hadn't made a fuss or demanded a refund, or an alternative. So there was absolutely no cause to challenge me in that way. I certainly would never challenge a diner's view by returning with the plate of food they have just returned. It was rude & poor service. It spoiled our experience & we are unlikely to return.

Had a takeaway from here. Plenty of food and delivered on time. They inadvertently charged my credit card twice however not to worry the fantastic owner came round to the house and returned the money to me. He was very honest and we will use them again. Could not expect anything better

Amazing as always. Can’t fault the food or the staff, especially KC! This is always our go to restaurant, the kids love it too. Highly recommend the Sheek kebab, korma, lamb madras and saag paneer- actually everything is perfect!! Including the price! You must try it for yourself!!

What a lovely restaurant in stony, I went for dinner with my friends to celebrate my friend 60th birthday, the staff were very friendly and very helpful, the food was very nice and fresh made, the drinks also were very good. We had a lovely waiter KC his initial ( I think) and another lovely gentleman serving us I think the ouner, he was just very sweet and so lovely to us, he told us he just become a granddad few months a ago, he talked about his grandchild with so much love and emotion, it made me very emotional. What a lovely grandad he must be. Lovely restaurant with lovely food and staff. I will definitely visit with my family.

We have used KL for years, rarely disappoints and last nights take away was so delicious I just had to write a review! We had Chicken Balti and lamb Dansak. The chicken was large chunks and so soft, the lamb just fell apart and the sauces were amazing. So tasty. Thank you, see you soon!

My husband and I popped in on Sunday evening, 3rd September to see if there was a table free. We were shown to a table by KC we had the banquet menu. The food was excellent and some of the very best food we've ever had in an Indian restaurant. Service was excellent too and we were made to feel very welcome. I'd like to say thank you to KC and the staff at the kardamom lounge for a lovely evening. 😍

been going to kardamon for a while, i've worked in well known indian restraunt so i know whats involved from back to front of house, kardamon is the best! around and beond stony stratford compared to compeating restraunts. there dishes are all full of flavor and always a treat to look foward to i would gladly treat and recomend all of my frinds and famly two. KC and Managemant and team but who stands out are the cheffs ! kardamon they cant do anough for you from takeing orders offering drinks and the odd free bee while you wait for your order. you can defantly tell kardamon pride there selfs in being one of MK's finest award winning restaurants. kardamon is a hidden gem of stony stratford

Very tasty food. Had a lamb rogan and my husband had the ki-shaan and we loved both dishes. The service was good, the staff were friendly. We’ll be back.

Food was tasty however I did have to add some salt to bring out the flavour. I've never had to salt my curry until now but the favours were nice.

Impulse visit , to a place that has been there for ages, looks a little tired outside and never get drawn in. It's tired on the inside too "old school" if you like, but the table clothes , napkins and staff shirts are all crisp and brilliant white, but most importantly, the food was terrific. The lamb naga for me was sizzling hot on the tongue but full of flavour, just large chunks of tender lamb, no gristle or fat or "onion filler" here. My partners chicken special was plentiful and beatifiully spiced to a madras hot level. Even the bhindi and mushroom pilau had a great spice and herb seasoning, so many great flavours in one meal. I guess there is a reason these guys are still around after so many years , cool/ trendy? no... great curry? , yes! With special deals every Sunday/ Wednesday I'm certain we will be back.

Out of all the Indian takeaways in Stony Stratford, I would say that this is the best, possibly with the exception of the extortionate Calcutta Brasserie. Food isn't always 100% though hence 4 stars instead of 5.

Not as good as last time !!! most of the food was great but I was really disappointed with the Korma very bland and not a shred of coconut taste shame as last time the Korma was excellent

This is our favourite Indian but last night was a let down. My chicken was very very hard struggled to cut and being very pregnant didn’t feel safe eating it. Onion barji was very soft and stodgy, didn’t eat our meals, I’m sure we will return one day. Just won’t be in the near future.

Food was unfortunately Luke warm at best and all had to be microwaved and we had to ring and check on the order as it hadn’t been delivered after an hour and a half.

Whether we meet up with friends or it's just the two us, the food and service is always great.

The food was excellent, and the Gourmet Evening on a Sunday made it very good value as well.

Went in. The waiter looked us down and told us to sit down and wait for a table when there was not a single soul in the restaurant and all tables were empty.

Pretty much all we missed over the last year and finally got a chance to return. Has anything changed? Is the same Chef here? Will it be all that we remembered? No, Yes and yes. Is this the ultimate in Indian food in MK? Must be, is it perfect? No, but it's as close as I have encountered in 40+ years of looking. UPDATE...Last 2 visits have been disappointing after years of perfect food/service. Chewy chicken, no spice, tiny portion and then service so slow as to be unacceptable, not even a third full yet it took an hour to even take our order - how about not answering the phone before you have dealt with people that have bothered to travel to your restaurant? Hate to say this but 3 strikes and you're out. UPDATE 2, returned last weekend and food was back to it's high standards, logged in tonight to remove my negative comments only to find the nasty reply below from the owner. You clearly would recognise me if I met you in the restuarant, I have spent well over a £1000 with you over the last 3-4 years and have NEVER asked for freebies,in fact I used to tip your waiters handsomely, your reply has cost you my business.

Best curry house around and has been for years. Eat in or get a takeaway. You won’t be dissatisfied.

Couldn't recommend this restaurant enough. Food is excellent quality and very tasty, plus efficient service. The staff are really lovely, especially the last few times when we have taken our 2 year old with us, they have been very accommodating and welcoming to us and it's nice to know we can take her out to eat with us.

Excellent food and staff are amazing nothing to much trouble

Waited a little while but was delivered before quoted delivery time but bear in mind the quoted time was over an hour from when I ordered. Food was fine although did find the madras a little bland and not as spicy as I usually expect.

Polite wonderful service, beautiful tasty food, generous portions, and a fair price. Try the dhansak.

Great menu offering a varied selection. All the food we had, a party of 8,was freshly cooked and tasty. Veggies, vegans and omnivores all happy. Professional staff and a relaxed atmosphere made for a good evening.
