Dinajpur in Milton Keynes

Absolutely gutted as we have ordered regularly lately for this place. Not only were they quite abrupt and rushing us off the phone (First time calling, 20 mins late, 2nd time 35 mins late) but the food was also cold when it arrived. Real shame.

The food is always amazing I wouldn't order from anyone else at times you get free things and that's amazing too. Last night I asked what a free dish was as my daughter loved it they never told me wjat it was but sent it with a smiley face saying free. I honestly love this place.

Have been here a couple of times now and the experience is consistent . The food is very good as is the service , but I do find the prices are higher that other places I have used with a similar quality. That being said I will continue to go back and recommend

Had a takeaway delivered, order Keema Naan got a peshwari naan which contains almond and coconut, just lucky partner was away as they are allergic to nuts!!! The meal was cold. Very disappointed as this used to be the best Indian takeaway in the area.

Dinajpur is without a doubt one of our firm family favourites. Our latest visit here lived up to our expectations. Quite simply the food was fantastic and the friendly restaurant staff are always attentive without being overbearing. Well done guys.

Lovely food as always! Really nice meal, very tasty and fresh. I had lamb Laziz for the first time and it was delicious. I am never afraid to try new dishes as I know they will taste great.

Fantastic food, easily the best Indian in MK! The decor is beautiful and highly refined. Also the couple who run it are absolutely lovely, and make so much effort to make guests feel special. The amount of food is also excellent in comparison to the price. This has now become my favourite Indian to go to.

just had a takeaway from them and was by far the best indian ive had in a long time, i picked them as they dont have the standard set meals like every other resteruant out there, and wanted to try something i had no had before, i was lovely so much flavor and amazing portions

What an amazing place. First visit today but will not be the last! Greeted at the door with door held open. We hadn’t booked and got shown to a quiet table for 2. Straight away we were asked if we wanted poppadoms and drinks. 4 fresh poppadoms came out with the relishes already on table. We ordered drinks - they have a bar so serve good range. We ordered one dish,but as I have allergies i asked what I could eat. I was recommended one of the chef specials. I chose pilal rice which when eating together was too sweet. When I mentioned this to Sam the waiter he changed my rice to plain rice without charge They were very attentive and the food was delicious. At the end of the meal we were offered a free drink each plus the tray of sweets and after eight mints. The door was opened for us with a friendly handshake as we left. Will definitely return Thank you Sam and team x

First visit to the restaurant and it was amazing from the food to the staff to the atmosphere. Delicious food, wonderful waiters and we were even given an unexpected free drink before we left. Definitely go back, looking forward to it already ☺️👍🏻

Visiting the area and we had an evening meal the choice was very good. Service was good and we were looked after well by Sam. The portion sizes were so good that we could not finish it all and asked for takeaway boxes. Well worth the money, the best Indian meal we have had for a few years.

I go here with a customer of mine when I'm visiting Milton Keynes which is usually every few months. Food is consistently good. I like a bit curry and always have the lamb vindaloo. The meat quality is good and whilst I prefer it spicier than they serve it's one of the most lovely combination of flavours I've had in a vindaloo.

Ordered takeaway for the first time. Sent different items to what was ordered; when I called to ask had a rude employee on the phone who was arguing with me. Finally agreed to send correct item, but never arrived! Do not order, much better Indian restaurants in the area!

Tried dinajpur for the first time after seeing the review I thought I’ll treat the family and give it a try and I was definitely not disappointed,it was the best Indian I have ever had,the food is mouth watering the flavour and presentation is outstanding,we was welcomed at the door by Sam he offered us a lovely booth table and sat us down with some papadoms quick to the table,he made me and my family feel so relaxed and gave us a wonderful service and a great evening,we was offered a complimentary drink on the house after our meal,thank you for a amazing evening and excellent service by Sam will definitely be back,I highly recommend this restaurant

Sam looked after us beautifully during our meal this evening. Attention to every detail was taken with our food. The quality of the meal was exquisite, visually pleasing, just the right temperature and more than I could personally eat in a sitting. Just simply perfect!! Went for a takeaway of nan, roti and puree and rice Only rice was good . Breads were hot and stuck to the paper bag they were put in. But tandoori roti tasted like rubber. Naan had lot of soda. Tasted sweet. Puree were uncooked. Limited parking

The setting is very nice, clean and welcoming. The floral wall arrangements are very pretty and a great background to have when eating a nice meal out. Lovely meal had this evening, as always. Excellent, friendly service and the food was tasty and fresh as always.

After a full day at Bletchley Park we had booked this restaurant for 5.30pm and we were not disappointed. The service is exemplary and the food is freshly prepared. My wife had prawn purée as a starter and I had the tandoori chicken starter. Both were very tasty. For mains we had chicken tikka balti and chicken dinajpur. Again both were very tasty. We also had a chapati each and a pilau rice to share…what’s not to like…GREAT food and GREAT service.

Had a meal here as a party of 15, service could not have been better and the food was lovely. Loads of meat in all the dishes, no complaints from anyone. 100% recommend and will be going back, or ordering for delivery

Tuesday Evening I worked extremely hard today and I was looking forward to sharing a nice curry with my girlfriend for dinner. Ordered a takeaway at 7pm. Estimated time was 1 hour. 1 hour later no food. I called and was told to wait 5-10 mins. 15 mins later still no food. Called again and was told to wait 5 more minutes. 10 minutes later still no food. Called again asking for explanation wanting to cancel order. Manager would not accept my cancellation request. I eventually saw the driver pull up while on the phone to the manager 1 hour 30 mins after ordering. I reluctantly accepted Delivery at this time. Food was average and a portion of rice was missing. Called restaurant to request a refund for the rice. I received no apology for this but the restaurant agreed to refund me for the rice. Food was average, naan and poppadoms were luke warm. Not worth the 1 hour 30 minute wait. The worst part was being lied to by the manager about when the food would arrive, missing item, and average quality food. This is completely unacceptable, incompetent and unprofessional. Please avoid at all costs to avoid disappointment.

Worst meal I Have had from a takeaway. The Sauces and pickles were so watered down, one was just colored water. I paid for two sets got one only. The madras had a gravey not a sauce again very watered down and flavourless.Naan s were very tough and just warm.salad was mushy. I did call to complain but was met with hostility. I was told they did not care if I left a,bad review ,which tbh was surprising. Then I was told I got a discount..should this then make it okay for very inferior food,that's obs Bern watered down.Never used before, won't use again. Nocustomer service and such a font give a darn attitude.

Sam is an absolutely brilliant Waiter. His customer service is not like I’ve seen anywhere else. Nothing is too much trouble, he will go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need. The food is delicious and keeps your belly full. I cannot fault this place. I highly recommend. I’ve never seen customer service like this. They are all so friendly, warm and welcoming. Sam is very good at making each individual customer feel valued.

We were here for a birthday, staff were brilliant, very attentive, looked after us so well, food was fantastic, everything we expected and more, we will definitely be back when visiting family, so see you again soon.

We decided to go to a different Indian restaurant and picked this one due to TripAdvisor reviews. With cooking homemade Indian at home we are extremely picky where we go. What an experience this was! The service was impeccable from the moment we stepped in. The waiter taking our coats was a touch. The setting was beautiful and intimate. The poppadoms came out quickly and the array of pickles were different, tasty and plentiful. The waiter asked if I wanted to try the wine first and then poured it in stylish wine glasses. Our glasses were topped up as well as the glasses of water. We asked if there could be a delay from serving the starter to the main dinner, the timing was perfect and nothing was a problem. The food was delicious and tasty, a credit to the chefs for making home style dishes. A special mention to Sam, who looked after us the whole evening. We will be returning very soon, bringing the whole family and spreading the word! The best Indian restaurant we’ve experienced where the food and service was genuinely incredible.

When it was her birthday last year the staff presented her with a surprise cake! Will recommend everyone with a good taste for authentic spices...

Great food, good service. It’s so hard to get a butter chicken which is spicy. I like the cream/butter base, but I also like chilli. They offer it in 3 options as to level of chilli. Only a small place, but worth a visit. We will be back.

This is the email I sent to the restaurant and so far not had a reply. As you are aware I have now eaten in you restaurant on the 2nd, 9th January and again last night. I have to say on the 2nd January the food was absolutely fantastic which bought me back on the 9th January when the food was just ok. However, last night I bought 3 colleagues with me and the food was not great at all, it was almost as if we were eating in a completely different restaurant, two of my colleagues last night were also with me when I ate there on the 2nd January and they have commented on how disappointing the food was last night compared to our experience on the 2nd January. Two of the kebabs starters were cold, mine was not only cold but undercooked as you are aware I sent mine back to the kitchen and when they returned it was not great but I did not want to delay our main courses any further so I just ate it as it was. The chili mushrooms my colleague said were very bland and pretty tasteless and he wished he had ordered something else. Then the main meals arrived, firstly the service last night was very slow? The chicken house special which one of my colleagues had was not only just warm it was pretty much tasteless and the chicken was tough and he hardly ate any of the chicken. The two chicken Madras's one of which I had was not only just warm but the chicken was very much overcooked and like chewing rubber, I actually had to spit some of mine out and left it on the side of the plate, I did mention this to one of the staff at the time but nothing was done about it. The 3 mushroom rice's which we ordered was also warm to cold when they arrived but by that stage we could not wait any longer. The side dishes we order were also not very warm and the potato in the sag aloo tasted very old and clearly not fresh. We are so disappointed at the decline in quality that we will not be returning again. Its with regret that I have to be open and honest with you regarding my 3 visits. I will await your reply before I add my comments on trip advisor as I took one of the cards on the table last night

I had not been here for several months so I popped in at 5 10 Saturday night. A great friendly welcome, I ordered chicken dhansak (huge portion & nicely spiced), lovely plain nan, plain rice & aloo gobi. Complimentary pops and dips rounded off a great t/away.

Such a lovely experience, the best Indian Restaurant in the area. The food is to die for and the staff attentive and discreet at the same time. We visited once before Christmas and have already been back again.

Amazing food and I’m soooo fussy with Indian food. I moved to this area 2 years ago and have yet to find a decent Indian restaurant until I discovered this place. The service was fantastic by the lovely Sam. Myself and my son had a wonderful night so much so we decided we are going to go there for Xmas dinner next year! The food was superb.

We’ve ordered from here regularly. Week before spent over £100 and collected the order. Unfortunately on this occasion, the order was extremely late, kept moving back and back. Then the kick in the teeth was that when I finally arrived, later again than the time we were promised when we enquired about its lateness. It was very cold. Too cold to eat and enjoy. Usually happy with the food and tried a prawn korma in the mix which was yummy. First time the food has been cool - I think it needs a sealed bag to transport it as it should take just 10 mins to get to me. However portions tasty and generous and would re order. Had two mains, a rice and a bread with a poppadom.
