Came into Golden curry tonight for our Anniversary, and the staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The staff treat you like family, having laughs and jokes with you. As for the food, wow it is amazing. Everything is nice and hot, tender and full of flavour. Absolutely perfect whether you eat in or order as a takeaway. Won’t be disappointed if you come here.

Excellent evening with friends and family, food was spot on and served write on time we were not rushed and the atmosphere was great. Excellent for a couples night out or a family meal . Truly a hidden gem.

First time order from here and it be my last it. Was so cold and I ask for less chicken in my curry they gave me less curry sauce and lots of chicken

Absolutely gorgeous food and amazing service, we had the 5 different dishes for £14.95,and we're so absolutely stuffed, was beautiful and fresh and tasty, the poppadoms were light and crispy, the Nana's were light and fluffy not stodgy and heavy like you sometimes get, and the mains and sides were exquisite,would highly recommend definitely 😁👍

We were a party of 16 in for my wife’s 50th. Food is absolutely superb as is the service. Brilliant place.

Eaten here over the years, and the food is fantastic. The friendly atmosphere never changes, and you're always made to feel welcome. Any questions about the restaurant's fabulous food and ingredients and the staff here will gladly chat with you. The food is very reasonably priced and the restaurant is very clean and warm. Parking, you need to park 100m in the large car park and walk. Sometimes, there are no spaces along the small street that the restaurant sits on. But it's 30p. per hour you pay at the machine before you leave. (Make sure you pay as they photograph your car as you enter and leave the car park). This Curryhouse is a must for old-school curry lovers. Give it a try it won't disappoint.

We have been coming to the Golden Curry for over 15 years and it has been a consistently lovely dining experience. The staff are the best combination of friendly, polite and very efficient. The service is, frankly, excellent - attentive without being intrusive. The food is flavourful and not at all greasy. Light, crisp poppadoms, and soft, fluffy, perfectly cooked naans. Generous starters and a wide variety of main dishes that are served piping hot every time (some dishes sizzling even) - just an all round 'golden' experience (see what I did there). I don't know why it's taken me so long to write a review but now, after another lovely evening, I thought I should write a review to say that if you're in MK or Bletchley (or close by), this local classic eatery is definitely worth checking out. One final thing...it is really hard to find somewhere to eat where the service is great, you are made to feel welcome AND the food is tasty. This little gem is worth a visit every single time. Great work Golden Curry team. GREAT. WORK. 👏

I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough. The food was very nice, the waiters very attentive, but not obtrusive. The Staff greet you at the front door - and say goodbye at the door when you leave. They also offer to take your coat when you arrive. Speaking of taking coats - this dude turned up looking like Crocodile Dundee in the middle of our meal (we were a party of seven) and he started poking the waiter in the arm, demanding the waiter take his coat, despite the fact he was in the middle of serving our meal. I think Croc Dundee left his manners in Australia. The Waiter dealt with the rude customer with great skill. Bloody bogans.

Pakora was full of fat so inedible. Vegetable curry was full of runner beans and not much else. Biriani lacked flavour. If this is what the golden curry has come to then after more than 30 years as a loyal customer I will not return.

Best curry house in Bletchley by far

I had a tasty plentiful lamb bhuna, a huge peshwari nan & rice. The complimentary pops and dips were great. The portions here are large and the staff very friendly. The prices are very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

Ordered a delivery. Service was impeccable. I made a mistake with my order and they cooked & dropped the correct dishes round free of charge even though it was my mistake! Very, very impressed! (Thank you, this was appreciated more than you’ll know) The food was amazing, everyone eating has a fantastic dish!

Ordered a take away a few times now and twice had things missing, today I ordered and waited over 35 mins over the delivery time and then things were forgotten waited another 50 mins for the forgotten parts to be delivered on the + the delivery driver was very apologetic and polite but unfortunately won’t be ordering again.

I was really impressed with the food I ordered. The vegetarian thali was great value for money and went down really well. The chutneys were so tasty, spot on. Golden duck masala was also insanely good. We also ordered the tikka sharer and I was so impressed with the chicken. Shame there was only one prawn, but the taste and texture of everything else was fantastic. Will be ordering again!

Great place. I go here often. Staff are amazing and always do their best to please. Try the fish massala! Mmmmmm.

The food was excellent as usual, with only one slight problem. When I opened what should have been tandoori lamb chops I found a tandoori chicken leg instead. Luckily I like tandoori chicken so everything else was correct and cooked beautifully as normal. I didn't bother ringing the restaurant as I ready for my dinner and didn't want to wait.

Very disappointed with the currys,saag paneer lacked flavour and salt,butter chicken sweet for some reason,paneer tikka also very sweet for some reason and phal chicken very salty.unable to eat and had throw it away.absolutely disappointed and thats a understatement

Had a delivery from you tonight (31st) an hour earlier than booked (booked for 7:20)! Turned it away and asked it to come back an hour later as we had a baby to put to sleep!! Spoke to you on the phone and asked for our money back instead of the meal as was worried we would end up with the same meal but reheated!! Was assured it would be fresh and would be with us at 7:30….. meal came at 7:10 and clearly the same meal!! Food was cold and not enjoyable! We will not be ordering from you again, terrible service .

I have been traveling in and around MIlton Keynes for the last 5 years trying to find a curry house where I can regularly go to where the food is always tasty and consistent. Well I eventually found the Golden Curry. Apparently, they claim to be MIlton Keynes oldest Curry house having opened over 50 years ago. As well as serving delicious home cooked dishes with subtle flavours that are delicate and never overwhelming, the staff are courteous and welcoming and I have found it a pleasure returning there when I can. If you love home cooked Indian/Bangladeshi food, then this is the place to visit.

An overnight stop in Milton Keynes, tried this place it was excellent. Very friendly guys, great chat - oh and the food was good value and really good. The decor was great. Car parking across the way was cheap, ANPR cameras so remember to pay. A great experience. I wish they were closer than 350 miles away!

There’s always a warm welcome at the Golden Curry. Isak, its owner, broke off from loading a takeaway into a car to say,”Hello” and the restaurant’s door was opened by KC, our friendly and amusingly cheeky waiter for tge evening. As another correspondent has suggested, this resraurant is something of an institution in Bletchley which it has served for over fifty years. Decor, lighting and menu were refreshed for its Jubilee but the core values of fresh, tasty food served piping hot in relaxed surroundings remain. Although I live 15 miles away, this is my ‘local’ and I must have popped in well over 100 times in the last 30 years and never been disappointed. KC knows we are regulars and he set us a challenge, “You ought to try something new!” His recommendation was a spicy, Kashmiri dish, Tava Nawabi- meat and King Prawns in a rich, thick sauce bubbling with full-on flavours. To ‘sink test’ the menu one of us chose chicken as its base and t’other lamb. A mushroom rice was a fine complement and, at KC’s suggestion ( he knows I’m a gourmand), I added a side of cauliflower and potatoes. As both of us were ‘birthday boys’ we chased it all down not with the usual House Red but a decent bottle of Spanish Rioja. I suspect that we shall be adding the exotic Tava creation to our ever lengthening Top of the Golden Pops list. As so often at ‘the Golden’ we were too full for desserts but spoiled ourselves with Irish Coffees made with Benedictine liqueur. A nice chat with Isak about life, the modern craze for flavoured Gins and ‘when’s the next Gala night with Bletchley’s Belle / Belly Dancer?’ sent us on our way happy as Larry after another great night at the Golden

My partner and I had a beautiful phall and Biriyani this evening. The flavours were amazing, cooked well, the lamb in thr Biriyani melted in tje mouth and my partner says it was delicious, my Paull was full of flavour, best Indian we have had.
