Spices 4 u in East Riding of Yorkshire

We really like the food banquet deals they do on a wednesday and Sunday. Booking is really easy and we requested a window table. On arrival they had put us in a lovely corner away from the door as it was a cold night. The service and food was fantastic. The choice on the menu was varied with lots of options.

Ordered a takeaway for delivery to the campsite we were staying at. Delivered on time by a very polite and friendly driver. Indian is our favourite takeaway, and this one did not disappoint. The food was good quality and very tasty. My only slight criticism is that my Phall wasn't spicy enough for my taste, but other than that, there were no issues at all, and I would recommend it.

Not the best by a long shot! Ordered a family meal on 29th December, had done so much cooking over Christmas that I simply didn’t want to cook. At this time of year in Bridlington there are only locals so it’s a good time to win customers! Starters of mixed platter, meat was ok, onion Bhaji was dry and oily, lemon was extremely dry, salad ok! Side dish of Brinjal bhaji was ridiculous…it was Ochra not aubergine! Main dishes contained very cheap frozen chicken pieces and unauthentic sauces…one so red it looked like passata? Needles to say we were disappointed, I hope the owners take note…I like my curry and so do my family but we won’t be returning in a hurry! Sad!

Call for takeaway curry. Those is possibly the worst curry we have ever had. Most went in the bin. No spice, watery keema curry. Have had spicier gravy

After living in Manchester for 38 years and experiencing the famous curry mile, then moving to London for past 10 years and having a erray of choice, I visited Bridlington last week to view properties, fancying a curry I read the reviews on all the local curry houses, Spice 4 U had the least reviews but the most positive, I decided to give it a try well to say I wasn't disappointed would be a understatement, I spoke to the waiter and asked him to recommend a curry of his choice, explained what I liked and OMG did he deliver I was in curry heaven it was simply divine, the right spice lamb was so tender it broke with just my fork simply amazing full of favour, I also highly recommend the lamb chop starter you will not be disappointed. I opted for a bottle of red wine good choice wine reasonably priced. The service in this restaurant was first class, informative, efficient but most importantly service had a personal touch, front of house engaging and getting to know their customer, restaurants could learn a lot from Naz our waiter ! I enjoyed my meal so much on Thursday evening I rebooked for Saturday evening two visits in three days 👌 From a customer who has ran high end catering companies, with high expectations I highly recommend Spice 4 U you give it a try, you shall not be disappointed

Nice atmosphere inside. Waiters were polite and helpful. Had the chicken chaat which was nice but quite oily. The lamb badshai was really tasty and had good number of lamb pieces inside. The Nepali mix was a nice combination of lamb and chicken but was quite sweet which we wasn't expecting it to be. Rice was nice and the tandoori rotis were yummy.
