Excellent Food & Service. Served by Chris, who went the extra mile to serve me with birthday cake from all staff. Highly recommend. Will definitely visit again.

Had a wonderful meal in Maa Indian Restaurant during our stay in Beverly. Probably the best Indian meal we have ever had. Great food and service at reasonable price.

We have been a lot over the years. The owner and staff are great and always offer a high level of service. They have a good menu and always willing to adapt to suit what you want. The curries are always tasty with good meat and rice / naans are nice. The starters always good but my only niggle is the dark sauce that seems to be on the mixed kebab. We will always go and continue to enjoy as all round great!

There is no better Indian restaurant in East Yorkshire, the food is amazing and it’s a great experience to come here and be looked after by Chris, nothing is too much trouble for him and he works so hard to make sure you have a great time ☺️

We had an excellent meal, Chris was really helpful explaining dishes and the service and food were great - clean plates all round. We took visitors who love curry and they were very impressed. Good value too.

Celebrated my wife’s big birthday last Sunday evening at the best Indian restaurant in town Maa we have used this restaurant many, many times before and it never disappoints. I had a chicken Pathia madras hot and Angie had a ChickenTikka sizzler with pilau rice and poppadoms washed down with a couple of pints of Cobra. This restaurant has really raised the bar in Indian cuisine. So big thank you to Mohammed and the team for a lovely evening and great atmosphere. We will return. Jethro😁

Friendly attentive service and good menu

Was recommended by someone the Beverley curry, said it was the best. I'm not impressed, too many mushrooms lacking in flavour, and I wish I'd stuck with my first plan of fish bhuna! Friends tandoori lamb was lovely. Nice lay out onside reasonable price. I'd go again. Staff spot on.

Takeout - worst Indian meal that it has been my misfortune to order. Poppadoms and dips were great and if it had stopped there then no complaints! Unfortunately the chef had apparently forgotten to add spices to the curry sauce so that my meal ended up as a tasteless watery coloured rice dish with loads of almost cooked onion and very little protein. Sonali spice for me in future!

We hadn’t been out for an Indian meal for some time so decided to go back to this restaurant after a 10 year gap! It was a Saturday night and we didn’t have a reservation so we’re lucky to get one of the last free tables. Great atmosphere inside with so many eating. Layout a bit boring as it’s a large room full of tables but we didn’t feel too close to the people on the tables next to us. They were efficient in taking firstly our drinks order then food and indeed the service was good throughout the meal. We started with a couple of poppadoms each with pickle tray before our starters arrived - onion bhaji for me and chicken tikka for my wife - both were good. Our main courses were a disappointment however - I had the special Beverley curry which I thought was really bland - was expecting it to be full of flavour but it wasn’t. My wife had the chicken masala tikka which arrived with a bright red sauce and so sweet and coconuty - maybe we didn’t realise what we were ordering but never had this popular dish tasting so different to what we had eaten in the past. Naan breads were good. Overall we left a little disappointed.

Lovely food, great menu, so many interesting things and all beautifully cooked. Service was great, and it was excellent value. We visited on a Sunday night so it wasn’t too busy. A great experience all round, we will be back.

We went to the restaurant last night. The food was absolutely top notch. The staff are super friendly and efficient. We have been to many Indian restaurants around the country, but this must be one of the best.

food and service were great. Felt they cared about their food and that you enjoyed it. Chris was a great waiter and knew all the dishes.

We were served by Chris who was a great host, lovely attentive service he couldn’t do enough for us. Overall a great dinner.

We were visiting Beverley again and couldn't do so without not going to the Maa for our evening meal ... and were not disappointed !! The food was first class as usual and the staff were all very attentive. We were waited-on mainly by Chris in a friendly and extremely courteous manner and made to feel at home. It isn't just enjoying a meal at the Maa, it's also a very enjoyable "experience" ! Cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Another great evening in Maa.......no wonder it has great reviews! Let Chris guide you through the menu as his knowledge and enthusiasm is second to none. Best curry house in Beverley!

Superb food and service spot on

New to Beverley and trying all local restaurants and takeawayd. We visited with children and the staff were great and really attentive. The food was fantastic - definitely our go to restaurant and takeaway!

The Rogan Josh was terrible it had no flavour and was like a can of tomatoes with meat in it nothing more , the eggplant side dish was undercooked the eggplant was hard and tough and yet another canned tomato experience with no taste , it was the worst Indian meal that I have ever had and I have had many , will never eat here again

We got a takeaway of Chicken Tikka Dupiaza, Chana Masala, Saag Aloo and Tarka Dhal. Very disappointing, bland and no depth of flavour. We have had much better from the supermarket.

Had some time to kill in Beverley, so went for a meal. Friendly staff, clean place, very nice food. Had the naga chicken and spoke to the waiter about the possibility of some shatkora in it, which unfortunately they didn't have in, but he did make alternative suggestions. There is ample reason to return, and I shall. A good find.

The food is always consistently good here. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. The tables are very close together and because it is popular there are often large noisy groups. If you want a quiet dinner, I would recommend avoiding busy times.

Hands down the best Indian in town. Super impressed with dinner tonight. Got a take out but will be dining in shortly to enjoy the experience. Will not be ordering elsewhere again.

I’ve just recently moved to Beverley, I’m used to different styles of curry but over the last 18 months I’ve visited this restaurant many times and Mohamed the owner who is so friendly has had his chef adapt his recipe to my taste, his staff are great lads and provide great service The restaurant is always busy but it never feels under pressure I have no problem giving this restaurant a five star rating, try the king prawn dupiaza 👍

We were visiting for our first time in Beverley. Found Maa online and thought it sounded great. We weren’t disappointed. Lovely food in a great atmosphere and the staff, Rafi, Chris and his colleagues, were attentive and friendly without being over-bearing. We’re looking to move up to this area and have found our go to restaurant for great Indian food.

Our family consisted of 6 adult couples. We were seated together on the time of the booking and had attentive service from start to finish.Timings through the courses where perfect and food quality extremely good. We all enjoyed the experience very much. We would all recommend this Indian restsurant.

Beautiful food the atmosphere is great and our server Chris was really friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very clean and well presented.

The first thing you notice when you enter the restaurant is the atmosphere. It has a great vibe with staff very friendly and helpful....in particular Chris who knows everything about the food and will explain in plain English so you can make an informed choice. Once you have chosen well Wow, not to go off on a tangent but am a well travelled person and this food rates as highly as I have ever tasted. Had the chef special korahi. ( Not sure spelling) it was one of the best tasting dishes I have ever had..... nothing is over priced...I. The current climate. Which adds to the overall rating ... All in all a great dining experience

Our food was excellent and portion size was large. We had mixed starter for two, superb. Staff interacted with Customers even chef came out on a quiet patch. Prices good for Beverley! Vegetables in some dishes which was nice. Will definitely go again when staying over.

A must visit if your a curry fan. One of the best we've ever had. You'll definitely need to book because it's so popular, They are very welcoming, the portions are big, and the prices are excellent. Great atmosphere.

Superb Indian food restaurant! We've eaten at Maa's many times and always look forward to going back. Carry out is a fantastic treat as well. The service is unbeatable with just the right amount of attention. The food is always fantastic and authentically prepared and spiced. Can't wait to go again.

I've no idea how 3 different dishes all look the same in this restaurant. I've been eating curries for 40 years and never seen it before. Food was edible but very bland I've eaten spicier jam butties.

We refuse to go to any other Indian as the food here is unbeatably delicious and the service is so quick. My partner is coeliac and we can eat practically everything on the menu which is hard to find. On top of that, the Customer service here is incredible and everyone is so friendly. Chris is particularly great and such a lovely person. He truly makes our experience every time we come in and goes above and beyond no matter how busy the restaurant is. I 1000% recommend!!!!

Lovely meal I had Spinach and Chicken Pakora for starters followed by Sizzling Tandoori Prawns they were absolutely amazing. My wife had King Prawn Puree for Starters followed by Chicken Shampan , also we had a Nan bread and rice to share, a drink each...

Great food and very quick with the delivery

Disappointing for three reasons. Very cramped as they have squeezed as many tables as they can into a small room. Very noisy with a group of about 20, all shouting to speak, next to us (not the restaurant's fault, obvs). Very average food. Not recommended for a quiet, relaxing eat.

Ordered on line at 6pm rang up at 7.15 to find out that they had cancelled my order but just forgot to inform me so they agreed to do my food. Food arrived 45 minutes later but not until the driver had taken it to to different address before mine so it was pretty cold by the time it arrived not happy

We enjoyed a masala and chicken tikka naan. Such attentive and welcoming service from Chris, woukd definitely recommend :)
