Lovely good, great value for money, lovely venue, short wait time between courses

Got a takeaway last night and it was really really very good. Got loads of food for two for just over £30 and it was really nice and fresh and authentic. Will be ordering again!

Came here for our Wedding anniversary meal. Hubby had chicken pakora for starters and I had sizzling lamb chops with stir-fried onions and peppers. Hubby enjoyed his starter, unfortunately mine was a bit too oily and the meat a bit chewy in places, but the flavours tasted nice. We both decided to try different curries this time, we usually have garlic chilli baltis, his chicken, me meat when at home. However we chose chicken Ussman for Hubby and chicken Jabbar for me. A garlic and chilli naan bread and special rice with egg and peas. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his, he even said it was the best curry he had ever had! Considering we've been for hundreds of curries over the years and we live in Bradford that's saying something! The flavours were fresh, vibrant and bursting with deliciousness. I did ask for mine madras strength but it was a little bit too spicy, which I was surprised at, considering I generally eat spicy curry. We tasted each others curry and I will be getting the Ussman next time as it was beautiful. Definitely recommend this place. BTW We got chatting to the staff and discovered that they are in fact from Bradford themselves and travel to Snaith every day!

A first experience of a delivery service with Cardamon Spice whilst staying at Apple Blossom camp site. I highly recommend on all aspects of service, food, and delivery. Very impressed and will definitely be back for more! You won't be disappointed, amazing food. 😋😋😋

When they found out that I was in a remote location in my lorry they reassured me that they would happily deliver to me, even getting the delivery driver to call me while my food was cooking so I could explain where I was parked. The food arrived piping hot and was absolutely amazing. I was amazed at how cheap it was given the quality of the food and the size of the portions. Thank you very much, keep up the great work - I can’t recommend yourselves highly enough

Lovely food! Especially good on a Wednesday and Sunday when they do the deal of poppadoms, starter, main and sundarie. Gorgeous.

First time eating from Cardamon Spice, we pre-ordered online for a certain time, we were not disappointed what a beautiful spicy meal excellent food excellent service will definitely order again a couple of the dishes we woukd highly recommend is the Lamp tikka Masala and the Jalfrezi king prawn mmmmm just yummy 😋 hats of to the chef 👩‍🍳

Great food and good selection. Waiting staff are very nice and helpful. Décor is interesting, a mix of all sorts......... Facilities are a throwback to 1970's but the place seemed to be clean. From what I saw, this place is not good for people with mobility issues, check before to ascertain if they have a lift.

Wonderful food, and really good value. Great friendly service, our waitress, Brooke made our visit a total pleasure. But don't take my word for it, book this amazing Indian and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed !

Stopped in Snaith on the way up to Scotland for Christmas Was surprised to find the restaurant was the top floor of a local pub but wow - it was so good ! Food superb and such great value Wish it was closer to ours !!! Recommend 100%

Ordered food for collection as we're staying on apple blossom camp site. Food was absolutely lovely it's was red hot. Ordered a set meal for two, would highly recommend got loads of food. Wasn't expecting to get what we ordered. There was enough to feed 4 never mind 2. Will definitely eat from them again. Thank you

Excellent service beautiful food!

Went on Saturday evening to celebrate a 60 something birthday and we had drive about 70 miles to be there. We were nicely greeted and shown to our table immediately. We were given the menus and we ordered drinks, which appeared straight away. A waiter then came and we order our food. Our popadoms came quickly and when finished the few starters we’d ordered arrived. We then had an exceptionally long wait for our mains and no reason/excuse was offered. That was the only blog on what could have been a brilliant evening. Such a pity.

Setting is nice above the pub, staff are friendly and helpful. The menu is extensive and the food is excellent. The main courses were very good and a lot I had not seen before but I really enjoyed their flavoured rice. Definitely somewhere to go for a very good meal eat in or take away.

I am saddened to write this after having many meals from them Firstly after having to repeat the order at least 6 times it was delivered wrong. The meal that was delivered was at best poor at the worst inedible. The nan would not have fed a small child: The onion Bhajis were smaller than a meat ball: The Jalfrezi was flavourless at best, only able to tell it was a curry by the fact it burnt your mouth. Eventually a replacement meal was delivered for the wrong on, a prawn Massala and after one look it went to the bin. I sent a private message to them regarding the total waste of over £25 to be totally ignored so decided to post this. Will certainly be the last ever meal from here, shame as I’m a local in Snaith

Owner openly admitted to taking payment from a customer for an order they never made, but refused to refund the money as “the website says to check before you order” (it doesn’t, by the way). Avoid this place like the plague, their business practices are disgusting, as is their food.

Just had my first takeaway and oh boy was it good. Not had a curry that good in a long Time. Definitely using again and hopefully a meal in the restaurant too.

We visited last night and found all the food to be very tasty. The service was good too and we was regularly asked if we wanted more drinks etc. The only reason I’m not rating 5 stars is because the food did take a little while to come but we was not disappointed when it did.

We always get a take out on a weekend and it is delivered to us by the loveliest people. Great food, great service.

This is the ‘go to’ Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant in the Snaith area and significantly better than others in the area. Not cheap but then you get what you pay for, and the quality (and quantity) is superb. The Afghan Lamb Chops are something I’ve never seen before but amazingly good, as is everything else I’ve tried from the menu. Top notch.

First time visited as we were just staying in the area for a couple of days. It’s situated above the Downe Arms. The meal was excellent, the quality was superb and at a reasonable price. The staff was very friendly. Brilliant experience, would definitely recommend to visit and check it out, you won’t be disappointed. Looking forward to paying them another visit soon

The food at this place is Amazing!!! We camped in this area last year and tried it,... delicious food, and we had a delivery again to the campsite this year as we'd remembered how good it was , once again, superb food. Can't recommend this place highly enough! Four very happy people full of very good food.

We arrived at cardamom spice last night and when we arrived found thar the indian was upstairs with not being able to climb the stairs we had to leave ..I found this very disapointed that we could not try the indian and that the Resturant do not cater for the disability people like myself..

Ordered delivery at 7pm and told it would be 45 min. 2 hours later no delivery so called them numerous times but no answer. Rang the Downe Arms who kindly enquired and informed us that the meal was on the delivery route. 30 min later Indian called and asked if we still wanted the order as it would only take 10 min. It arrived in 10 min but when we opened it we found it was cold. Absolute disgrace and will never use them again. SO BE WARNED.

Always great service and lovely food....great value on banquet nights - Sunday and Wednesday. Never had a bad meal.

Reluctant but must worthy review as as this place is a little gem and We would like to keep it secret we love it so much. Once again we have had a fantastic meal in the restaurant, the staff are very friendly and pleasant, you really do feel totally chilled out there you’re not rushed or stood over like many other place’s. The food is 1st class and presentation is excellent, please give my compliments to the chefs in the back who do a phenomenal job, We will be back soon for another lovely evening out. Many thanks

The food I have to say was very good. I really enjoyed the curry and the naan. The staff were all very friendly too and prices were very reasonable. Nothing to fault at all. I would happily recommend and eating here again.

Booked in at this restaurant above the Downe Arms in Snaith at the last minute as a prior booking at another restaurant was cancelled by them. Thought we’d try here as it was in walking distance. Had 2 main meals + a few extras and a bottle of delicious house wine for less than £40 for 2. Food was excellent, service very good. Gents could do with some tlc but other than that was great, would highly recommend.

We go here at least once a week. They offer a fantastic deal on a Wednesday and Sunday. We visit here for family occasions too including our Christmas dinner! The staff are very helpful and very friendly.

Visited Cardamon Spice for my 50th with extended family. There were 12 in our party and the celebration went without a hitch. Cracking food, great service and the bill for all meals and drinks was very reasonable. Perfect for a hassle free enjoyable party.
