Este café tenía un buen personal, sillas cómodas y decoración, excelente café. No sabíamos si el grano de café dibujado en nuestro blanco plano era un grano o un fondo, muy buena risa. La sopa era buena, las opciones sin gluten fantásticas. Especialmente el pan cubierto de queso. This is a must dining experience in Edinburgh/Stockbridge! We had a 5+ course tasting menu prepared right before our eyes with an exquisite collection of wines expertly paired to each taste. They have a lot of non-alcoholic beverage options too including a homemade Kumbucha. Be prepared to spend your whole evening in this aesthetically pleasing dining room since we were there for almost four hours!

Yummy. Lovely range of home made Greek savoury pastries. Generously sized and ours were still warm. Took them home and heated them up as a lockdown treat from a local shop. Worth a stop buy - you can quickly park right outside if you watch out for wardens and they are currently serving from the door. Will be back again to try some different ones.

This Cafe 'formerly 'the Thistle' Now 'THE MAISON' is Like finding a golden nugget to me, I like a morning roll such as egg sausage bacon etc. And if there is one thing that annoys me is the dreaded 'dry roll' without spread of some sorts. One of the things i like about this new cafe is ‘They do this... without you having to ask’.. Now after warning 3 Other cafes in the area if they continued the practice of the 'dreaded dry morning roll , I would go elsewhere. Unfortunately they continued to give me thee old Gordon Ramsey trick of sticking the roll on the hot plate & Ignored my customer feed back.… So what did i do?… Well being a man of my word, I do not accept ‘second best’ and Loe and behold the next again Day…. I find this Diamond of a cafe' THE MAISON' who believe in giving the customer what they want … So let me say... this this is the best Cafe in the Tollcross area, so give them a try I guarantee you will not be disappointed and will surely become a regular. Apart from morning rolls & breakfasts they have an Excellent lunch and dinner menu, you will walk away completely satisfied with the food and thee Delightful helpful and polite staff Staff.

Excelente calidad. Todo en las eclairs está hecho desde cero y la calidad y el sabor son excelentes. Esta es una de las joyas escondidas culinarias de Edimburgo.

Celebré mi cumpleaños en The Little Chartroom y fue una experiencia inolvidable de principio a fin. Escogimos el menú degustación de 5 platos y lo combinamos con una botella de vino: cada plato estaba muy bien equilibrado, sabroso y sin pretensiones, mostrando una cocina reflexiva y un enfoque real en ingredientes de calidad. El servicio fue puntual en todo: cálido, atento y a un ritmo perfecto. Una pequeña pero encantadora sorpresa fue una tarjeta de cumpleaños escrita a mano por el equipo, un toque tan considerado. El ambiente también logró el equilibrio justo: elegante pero acogedor, con una sensación de espacio que es poco común en los restaurantes más pequeños. Sí, es una comida más premium, pero vale la pena. Puedes saborear la habilidad y el cuidado en cada bocado, y toda la experiencia se sintió especial. Muy recomendable para una ocasión memorable.

Visité aquí el miércoles para un café y pastel / rollo. La camarera vino por nuestra orden, pero no estábamos listos. Luego esperamos 20 minutos sin que nadie viniera a ofrecer servicio. Mientras tanto, estábamos viendo a un miembro del personal trabajando de plano para hacer cafés mientras otros 4 coqueteaban, se reían y bromeaban entre sí detrás del mostrador de servicio. Intentamos llamar la atención del grupo que no trabaja detrás del mostrador sosteniendo el brazo en alto, etc., pero fuimos totalmente ignorados. Eventualmente subí al mostrador para pedir servicio (perdón por consentir a sus chicos divertidos) informándoles que en realidad estábamos a punto de irnos ya que habíamos sido ignorados durante tanto tiempo. Entonces todos se separaron y desaparecieron y alguien más apareció por nuestra orden. Esto llegó rápidamente y era de un buen nivel. Antes de terminar, una de las chicas del grupo de coqueteo se acercó y se llevó un plato y una taza. No había terminado y mi amigo acababa de tragarse su última boca llena de café. Definitivamente estaba ‘en un suspiro’. Más tarde intentamos llamar la atención para pagar la cuenta. ¿Adivina qué? Al final acabamos de subir al mostrador. No volveremos a pesar de que somos locales. 3 estrellas es para la comida y el café - 0 estrellas para el personal en particular.

The comunity bakery is a must if you are in Dunbar, every time we are in the area we use it, the selection of hot pies/sausage rolls/pasties are very good, the selection of filled rolls is also very good especially the BLT, the service is always done with a smile. Thank you Dunbar comunity bakery

We stumbled upon this square below the castle and found this restaurant. Welcome in French. Very good. I liked the crayfish and my daughter liked the raclette. I tried a local cider. Fair price, after switching to euros...the price is more expensive but hey, it was very good and welcome. In addition, the sun and the heat were there, a small outdoor terrace but we preferred indoors with the Vitanges advertising panels.

Nice hotel, but there are a few details that could be improved: you need to push the room door with force, or it won’t lock properly—in fact, it doesn’t lock at all unless pushed firmly. The TV isn’t mounted quite straight—it has a slight tilt on the wall. Not major, but noticeable. The safe box and fridge are not secured to the shelves, so when you pull the door, the entire fridge or safe box moves with it.

Great spot for a quick French treat or lunch. Would go back!

Esto es realmente más un lugar para llevar que una comida en la cafetería porque tienen solo un par de mesas pequeñas dentro de ese asiento 2 y una en la parte trasera que parece a menudo reservado. Pregunté por qué era así y nunca se me dio una explicación satisfactoria. En verano u otros días cuando hace buen tiempo hay 2 mesas pequeñas adicionales en el exterior. Dicho esto, el café y la pastelería es muy bueno, especialmente las tartas de celebración por encargo.
