I am not usually a dessert person but honestly.. I tried eclair with nutella and it was absolutely 10/10!! The owners were so sweet and even gave me awesome tips about the city! Definitely will go back whenever I crave something sweet xx

So happy to have finally made it here after following on Instagram for a long time, Ecosse Eclair did not disappoint. We had a chocolate eclair and a cranachan eclair. Both were absolutely delicious and looked so beautiful. The shop itself was super cosy and inviting, I wish we had time to stay for a cup of coffee. Can’t wait to go back again soon.

We were walking past Ecosse Eclair and the Eclairs in the display looked absolutely wonderful, and they tasted as good as, or even better than they looked. We tried at least four different flavours and they were all out of this world. Can't wait until my next trip to Edinburgh - this will now be one of my 'go to' places in Edinburgh.

If you love pastry, you’ll love this one for sure - super delicious éclairs and other sweet treats prepared by a very talented pastry chef. Not too creamy, not too sweet, they’re perfect for a special treat or to enjoy along your coffee. What a great small local business to have in the neighbourhood!

as a french person, I have to say that we LOVED their eclairs ! This is super good, original, colorful, we went there twice and try 3 differents flavors, and loved them all. The cranachan one was my favourite though, it's colorful, super tasty and the presentation is gorgeous, like I could see a french chef serving this without a doubt. If you ant a really tasty dessert (and for my fellow french people, if you want to try a new flavor, go for the cranachan one!)

I went twice with my boyfriend during our Edinburgh vacation. The eclairs are not only delicious, made with fresh ingredients every days from Monday to Saturday, but also very pretty. I've tried the Pistachio one, the Strawberry cheesecake flavored but my/our favorite was the Cranachan one. What a wonderful idea to mix Scottish cuisine with French bakery. As a French person I can swear to you that it worked perfectly together. On our second visit I also ordered a mocha with oat milk and the coffee was great. The staff has been very friendly and has given us tips for visiting others local places and we were very grateful for their kindness. If you love eclairs and French baked goods, go ahead and buy yourself a good time and your just dessert ( ;) )

Popped in to Ecose Eclairs after passing numerous times. They taste as good as they look! Lemon meringue is delicious- sweet but can taste the natural flavourings. Classic was my 2nd favourite- sweetened cream was beautifully balanced but the show stopper was the pistachio- absolutely to die for. Thank you! Will be back

The first time I went here I thought it was a little pricey. After trying a pistacio eclair and a dessert with little filled choux buns, whipped cream, choclate sauce, and chocolate mouse I thought the price was fair for how good they both were. Been back a few times now and I have to say everthing I have tried has been excellent. You will not find better quality anywhere.

I am so thrilled that I found this amazing shop in Easter Road. They have variety of top notch eclairs and the presentation is simply flawless. Eclairs are made with fresh ingredients and served daily. My personal favourite is lemon meringue eclairs but I definitely recommend their profiteroles as well.

It is a wee shop that is known for their éclairs, hence the name. I confidently believe it is the best desert shop in Edinburgh (maybe in the UK🙈). My favorite eclair is the pistachio one though I love every one of them. Don’t forget to try their shortbreads!

Amazing Eclairs and bignes, their biscuits have become our favourite as well. Well worth a visit and definitely a special place in Edinburgh for us. I love their instagram page, keeps me informed of the new specials and sometimes also saves me the trip if they sold out and closed early.

Not only the best eclair I have eaten in Edinburgh but also the best eclair I have ever eaten. I would consider myself as a “not a big fan of an eclair” kind of person but this shop made me crave for eclair! Well done for their yummy eclairs and super friendly service. My three year old son also loves their eclairs and ask for them every time we are around.

Visited here on Wednesday for a coffee and cake/ roll. Waitress came for our order but we weren’t quite ready. We then waited for 20 minutes with no one coming over to offer service. Meanwhile we were watching one member of staff working flat out to make coffees whilst 4 others flirted, laughed and joked with each other behind the service counter. We tried to catch the attention of the non working group behind the counter by holding our arm up etc but were totally ignored. Eventually I went up to the counter to ask for service (sorry to spoil your fun guys) informing them that we were actually about to leave as we’d been ignored for so long. They then all separated and disappeared and someone else appeared for our order. This arrived quickly and was of a good standard. Before we’d quite finished one of the girls from the flirting group came over and whisked away a plate and cup. I was not finished and my friend had only just swallowed his last mouthful of coffee. She was definitely ‘in a huff’. Later we tried to get attention to pay the bill. Guess what- we just went up to the counter in the end. We won’t be back even though we are locals. 3 stars is for the food and coffee -0 stars for those particular staff.

The Little Chartroom was my family’s favorite meal while in Edinburgh. The food was superb, the ambiance was calm and aesthetic, the staff were incredibly kind. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

We had lunch yesterday 19 October. We had a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect . The staff are amazing, one and all. The service is impeccable. The food is truly exceptional. If you get the chance to go here, do not hestitate. I cannot find fault with anything at all. We chose the Market Place menu and I was fortunate enough not to be driving , so chose the wine pairing with my menu. It was so worth it. I had an English wine for the first time and highly recommend it. My husband was driving and only had a sip of each of mine, but he agreed totally that the choices were perfect. We were both bowled over by the whole experience .I am looking forward to going back as soon as possible.
