The best restaurants serving French food in London

La comida en la sopa de pato era genial — sabrosa, bien preparada, y claramente hecha con cuidado. Desafortunadamente, la experiencia fue amarga por el vino y el servicio que vino con él. La copa que pedí sabía más a vinagre de manzana que a vino. Cuando educadamente le planteé esto al personal y le pedí que lo intercambiara, me dijeron que la culpa era mía por elegirlo. Sugerí que querrían explicar el sabor inusual de antemano, pero mis comentarios fueron recibidos con defensiva en lugar de comprensión. Me dejó un mal sabor de boca literal y figurativo. Gran comida aparte, mal servicio y una falta de voluntad para manejar los comentarios hicieron que la experiencia fuera decepcionante.

Traté de pedir algo de comida vía deliveryoo. El restaurante me llamó y me dijo que no tienen algunos elementos que deben reflejarse en el menú en línea. Pedí cancelar el pedido en su lugar. Me dijeron que lo cancelara de mi lado. Traté de contactar al servicio de atención al cliente que dijo que no pueden llegar a este lugar por teléfono para confirmar la cancelación. Cuando llamé de nuevo y pedí levantar el teléfono dentro de los próximos minutos para confirmar la cancelación porque deliveryoo no puede seguir adelante sin él, la persona en el teléfono fue extremadamente grosero conmigo. Al principio dijo que era su segundo día de trabajo, con esta actitud en su segundo día no debería durar mucho más.

Made a booking online for Saturday evening with my family, received booking confirmation through my emails. We arrived at the restaurant only to find it was closed. Not sure why I was able to make a booking for somewhere that wasn't even open. I also wasn't going to leave a review until I got sent an email asking how my experience was 🤷‍♀️

A rather basic experience for a fine dining establishment. We had the Valentine's Day set dinner men: Langoustine soup and scallop was great, fish was good, the beef was average while the desserts were barely passable. The vanilla cream did not feel special; the passion fruit souffle was way too sweet and the dark chocolate sauce tasted like chocolate melted down from a cheap milk cho bar. Service was a little lack-lustre - our water cups were empty for a good part and getting the attention of the server to refill it was an adventure. For the price point, I'd expected much better service and better dishes.

Nos sentó enseguida. Tuvimos un niño de 5 meses con nosotros. La persona que nos sentó fue muy amable. Entonces desaparecieron - sin agua - sin camarero para tomar el orden. Esperamos más de una hora. ¡Molesto! No lo recomendaría y no volvería a ir.

I have been to Les Deux Salons few times already and I was never disappointed, very good food and service.

Absolutely delicious! We were dubious because of the low score reviews but our expectations were more than exceeded and they must be old. Fabulous food and fabulous service, I’ve lived near Clapham Junction for 3 years and only ventured here after looking for a good French restaurant as it’s my mums favourite cuisine. Oh my god it was delicious, I had the steak bavette and it was so rich and tasty, my sister had the moules frites and devoured it. Mum had the chicken and throughly enjoyed it. All in all a fab experience and it genuinely feels like a restaurant that should be busier. You’ll see from my profile that I never leave reviews, but this was so fab that I felt like I had to! We will be back!

Turquoise had just opened. They've done a fabulous job in redecorating the old Cafe Rouge. Brightly coloured, it's warm and welcoming and the food is very good. I've only eaten there once with a friend, but we both really enjoyed our lunches. I had garlic prawns; she had lamb chops and both were delicious. In the centre of Highgate Village, it's a lovely place to pop in for coffee, which I have also done.

Mi mujer, mi hija, dos niños pequeños y llamé para el almuerzo. Convenientemente ubicado en el corazón de St Pancras, que era una gran ventaja. El personal es amable y limpio entorno brillante. Menú un poco limitado pero la calidad de la comida estaba bien. Francamente, era lo que esperábamos, nada más y nada menos por ende un marcado promedio.

Just heard this place will be closing down thankfully. Very unclean food not great.. Service slow... Think the staff are on drugs..really badly run establishment. Shame as it in a nice area. Hopefully new owner makes well with this old unique place!

I visit the area regularly and leave time to stop for coffee and pastries. The coffee is excellent and better priced than a chain, pasties are fresh and delicious. I look forward to sampling the rest of the menu. Nice decor and nice staff so all good.
