Came in here for the first time today. This is a fairly small branch of Patisserie Valerie and is quite busy. They did me a very good flat white coffee - strong and not bitter and not too milky.

We popped in for brunch.My wife had eggs Benedict and I had the cooked breakfast. Both of us had a pot of tea.Service was good and the food was surprisingly good and plentiful. Only a couple of down sides were that the bacon was not as crispy as I like it and a table for two is a bit small for comfort.Not bad value for money.Ps the cakes look lovely.

You do know what you’ll get but there’s nothing wrong with that. Two good teas and a ham and cheese baguette before the obligatory and vet welcome cream cake.

I absolutely love Patisserie Valerie! They have great afternoon tea and amazing cakes and scones! I’ve also had pancakes here and they tasted fantastic. I go here very often and it is very relaxed and comfortable in there. I like that I can go there and sit and eat by myself and watch a tv show on my phone or read a book or drink tea with my friends and they are totally fine with it. Definitely my favorite place in Kingston!

A friend and I visited in early December, and it was awful.It was the first time I had ever visited this chain- and I won’t be going back again.The servers were either ignorant to our presence or when they did in fact acknowledge us, they were rude! It was one male service and two female- and all three of them were terrible. They were sullen, rarely spoke to customers, offered no recommendations, and when we did finally pay the receipt was thrown on the counter instead of given to me.Don’t waste your money!

Normally come here to get a cake to takway however we decided to try eating in. Went here with my boyfriend yesterday for brunch. Ordered breakfast and drinks, the food came after 25 mins and was just warm. I order eggs Florentine, the eggs were basically hard boiled. Service was fine, the tables are very close to each other which caused other customers walking into our chairs.

We attended the Kingston branch to use our afternoon tea voucher. The staff we found were not bothered about our experience. When we asked to swap a hot drink for a cold one, we were told that was chargeable - thanks a lot! The menu is set and there is zero flexibility. The drinks were served first and then a cream pot which was covered in cream, attention to detail would have been appreciated, it looked a mess! The food itself was average, some sandwiches too thick with butter to eat. The scones were the most enjoyable. An average, nothing special over priced experience. Next time we will choose somewhere else for afternoon tea.

Visted here for a festive afternoon tea with my 12 year old daughter, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience with freshly made sandwiches, 2 cute mini scones, 2 mini quiche along with various sweets inc mini mince pies, ginger slice, choc cake etc etc, the staff here work extremely hard we were offered tea, coffee, or hot chocolate I had the tea and my daughter had a mug of hot chocolate.Extremely good value for money the only thing thats a slight negative it's very small and the tables are very close to each other.Thank you

I went with a friend last week & had tomato soup & french bread, the most tasty soup I've had in absolutely ages. Today I introduced my aunt to Patisserie Valerie - she chose the Madame Valerie breakfast, it was well presented and she said it was delicious. I chose a vegetarian quiche & salad, absolutely superb, the salad was fresh and dressed with a tasty dressing. I don't normally eat potato salad but this one was lovely. The quiche was so delicious. The service is always pleasant. A very busy place and I know why.

Dined here for breakfast Service was friendly Coffee was excellent Strong and full flavoured We ordered a hot breakfast when it was served it was bordering on being cold It was like it was cooked well before being served

Just at one end of the market place, this excellent cake place also does lovely breakfasts and light lunches.

I love patisserie Valerie and all the time I try to have a lunch in one of them with my colleagues when we can. Been few times last week in the one in Kingston upon Thames and I have bee very disappointed from the service. Very slow and unwelcome staff that won't make me come back here in the future.

Hmmm yet again I find myself writing a review for poached eggs on toast in a second establishment where the 'toast' was tepid bread on one side of the plate with two poached eggs on the other side swimming in water!! Packet butter in a side dish... no garnish whatsoever is this a new 'fashion'?! Is hot buttered toast and two poached eggs placed on top without any of the water used to poach them in too much to ask?? Seems so.... in addition waiting over 20 minutes for them and a peppermint tea was irritating! The peppermint tea was nice if extortionate at £2.85 not even fresh mint so can't see any reason for the price differential between here and other similar establishments.

The cafe looks nice however it does get busy and they can't cope. We had the traditional afternoon tea and waited for ages, which normally wouldn't matter but then they brought our hot drinks all separately and forgetting some of our groups tea and it took ages to get there attention so everyone at the table was drinking at different times. Then they forgot the cream (to go with the scones ) and again took ages to get that on our table by which stage some of us finished our drinks so very disappointing.

This French chain does good cakes (£1.95 for a plain and £2.70 for an almond croissant - both served with butter) . Oddly, though, the coffee (£2.80 for an Americano and £1.90 for espresso) tasted very weak to me. A sparkling water was £2.05. The décor is attractive, the café is centrally placed in Kingston, almost opposite The Guildhall. It was open at 8.30 am when we turned up. The staff were just about OK.

I ordered a cake for my son birthday, and wanted to have breakfast before pick up the cake, I was amazed with menu lots of breakfast and lunch choice, Staff were very friendly even the this place were very busyWe ate the cake in the evening it was was so delicious even 1 piece did not left Definitely recommend this place and cant wait to return this place

Patisserie Valerie sells a good range of cakes and drinks, we stopped there for a quick snack while out in Kingston. They have table service which was handy as we had our baby with us.

We had a nice breakfast and chat here. The scrambled eggs on wholemeal were delicious ( £4.95). Service was attentive and at 8.30 the place was quiet and calm.I believe it opens at 8. I've seen some deals for afternoon tea which may be worthwhile.

We stopped off here for breakfast, and got a good choice with nice, pleasant service. I would definitely be back.

Si voy a ser completamente sincero, yo no tengo el mayor esperanzas para este viaje sólo porque he conocido a vender sólo Valerie Pastelería tortas y pasteles. Vi este cupón en Groupon por 14 libras. 95 y pensé ¿por qué no? Para mi sorpresa fue un viaje realmente deliciosa. La cafetería se encuentra cerca de Kingston Riverside y es muy íntimo y tranquilo. El desayuno era tan abundante, tienes la opción de tener un capuchino o chocolate caliente, pero debido a un sol radiante para nosotros pedimos un sueño en vez de mango.

Paramos aquí para algunos refrescos mucho necesitábamos. Qué lindo lugar para conseguir algo para los más golosos, así como una muy buena taza de café y fuerte. Me encantó el croissants, no demasiado precario y hecha con mantequilla.

Vine aquí con mi compañero para una tarde de lujo, la camarera era muy distraído y hablado con la otra camarera mientras estábamos haciendo un pedido. Ambos pedimos un café con leche, pero mi compañero de uno llegó antes que la mía no relativamente (minutos atrás nuestra camarera era hablar con la otra camarera que tenía una taza de café preguntando a donde llevar y nuestra camarera dije nadie ordenados).

Very pleasant experience, delicious lovely cakes and sandwiches. They are willing to swap sandwich fillings vegetarian instead of meat, which they did for me.

The staff was polite, we order the afternoon tea, the sandwiches were dry and it was not freshly made, the bread was hard. The cakes were good. I orders Earl Gary tea. I received normal tea.

This is a bright and buzy patisserie that we would recommend. The food is great with a big choice of cakes and snacks.

I go often to this lovely place and it never let's me down ! Everything is so delicious and so tasty ! If you don't know it take a chance and visit !! Gorgeous... Staff is friendly and the coffee is very tasty also !!!

Fui con mi marido para el té de la tarde, que no en la justicia es barato por £25 y decepcionado con la calidad de los bollos, mermelada y atención al detalle. La selección de té era bastante limitado si no beber té negro, pero entonces es el té de la tarde. No habíamos reservado y nos dieron una mesa bastante rápidamente. El servicio era rápido y tuvimos nuestra Tier 3 de golosinas en una escala temporal muy razonable. Me sirve de mermelada de albaricoque y pedí fresa, grosella negra y luego finalmente dado se cambió para fresa.

Tomamos el té de la tarde aquí como un regalo con un amigo. Los bollos eran un stand-out, tanto así que elegiría exclusivamente una merienda en el futuro más que el té de la tarde, sandwiches y pasteles fueron decepcionantes. El servicio bien, pero no era genial, tuvimos que esperar un largo tiempo para pagar en la caja, parecía corto de personal así que quizás tuvimos mala suerte con eso.

Intenté reservar un té de la tarde con un amigo, como un bono de regalo que me la dieron. Dijo que 'a ir, no es necesario reservar. Llegamos a las 3 de la tarde y nos llevaron a una mesa y luego esperar unos 10 minutos para que una camarera ver para nosotros. El té de la tarde real no era tan buena como la que hemos tomado antes, pero bueno. El café y beber chocolate eran preciosas. La camarera era extremadamente cortés y atento."

Esto se está convirtiendo en mi favorito de escala para un suministro fresco de puro, zumo de naranja. La relación calidad-precio está en allí. Tengo mi recompensa ocasionales en forma de helado delicioso, tarta de frutas o una exquisita mille feuilles. Casi nunca aviso personal porque el volumen de su trabajo ética y profesionalismo es la marca del lugar.

Este lugar tenía un montón de malas críticas, pero mi marido y yo pensamos en probar ya que en el pasado pedí una tarta decoración centro de pieza que aunque caro, era muy buena.

Mi lugar favorito para un descanso relajante. Yo he probado unos 6 lugares de Londres con igualmente resultados satisfactorios. Puede contar con una buena taza de té. Todo el día, desayuno inglés tradicional, sí! Tartas y postres, té de la tarde, Mmmmmm... no tengo más que decir!

Had a sandwich lunch and two pecan pies. Pecan pie was not freshly made and the sandwich was very dry. Altogether very disappointing for a patisserie.

È' stato piacevole il te'. Il resto un po' deludente , ho assaggiato una cheese cake con l'aspetto invitante e il sapore strano :troppo dolce e forse troppo grasso . Non ci tornerei un'altra volta.

Visited twice during my stay in Kingston. First time for brunch, eggs benedict superb, second time afternoon tea. Cake choice and price excellent. One of my favourite places.

We shared a pastry from Patisserie Valerie while we were at King's Cross Station visiting the Harry Potter Shop.

Had a lovely afternoon tea in Canterbury in the sunshine, very helpful staff and our waiter couldn't do enough for us, we had a Groupon voucher that gave us £6 off and at £19 for the both of us we thought it was well worth the money.

One of the best places for breakfast or brunch in Kingston. They offer a nice range of sandwiches and croissants.

Visiting the town of Bromley is not complete without having somthing nice at Pattiserie Valerie. Very good staff and pleasant service.

I really like this chain. The selection is so wide I always struggle to decide what I want! All cakes taste great, coffee is really good too.

Came to Patisserie Valerie for breakfast as had been here before and I love the hot chocolate and last time the pastry we had was good. My partner and I both opted for the full english breakfast, the breakfast arrived and wasn't hot, everything was tasteless and when I say everything, everything on the plate was literally tasteless, I am not sure how this was achieved but they must have some machine that sucks the flavour out of everything because I am not sure how this was possible. My partner paid around £20 for the breakfasts and he said that he was upset because we could have gone to a rather cheap well known chain pub where we have had breakfast and we know is really good. Very soon after we left my partner had an upset stomach and wanted to rush home to use the toilet which wasn't a pleasant experience for him.

Excellent lunch, reasonably priced. Have visited same restaurant in Glasgow and experienced same high standard. Cakes and desserts an enormous treat!

I visited the riverside Patisserie Valerie at Kingston for the first time last weekend and it was a delight. It provides items that are a nice crossover between French and UK patisserie, such as really well-baked apple turnovers - it's hard to find these at all nowadays! The staff who served us were very efficient and the quality of the cakes was great. We tried an éclair au chocolat, an apple turnover, a banana milkshake (made with ice cream and very tasty), and then took away with us a slice of double chocolate gateau (which comes with a profiterole attached to the top!) and a millefeuille. I highly recommend this branch and this company.

Tuve el 2 campo de menú. El salmón entrante era deliciosa y muy fresca. Pero el plato principal fue un poco decepcionante. Tuve la ensalada de cangrejo y mientras estaba completamente lleno con gambas era como tener un gigante cóctel de gambas. Tenía demasiado salsa de marisco, que era demasiado fuerte y las gambas eran un poco duro y no 100% fresco. Disfruté el chocolate en la cuppachino.

Habíamos elegido esta pastelería con anticipación y quedamos muy decepcionados por los eclairs. Eran muy pequeñas, teniendo en cuenta el precio. El chocolate uno apenas sabía a chocolate. Debería haber tenido la crema de chocolate dentro en lugar de crema patissiere insípida. No me gusto nada mejor que un supermercado comprado eclair. El servicio no fue muy atento.

Desde el exterior, es claro que este lugar está tratando de ser por encima de la media y ofrece una experiencia de café más sofisticado (y caro) que Costa y similares.

Visité Patisserie Valerie con mi esposa porque Costa Café aún no habían establecido sus mesas y sillas fuera en el mercado de Kingston, así que optamos por diferentes entornos y fuimos a Puerto Vallarta por primera vez. Inconveniente ya que era llamado comer en era bastante caro. Normalmente pagar por un café. Lo que se paga es el servicio de camarera. Nos vimos tentados por los croissants y otros productos de panadería y pastelería en pantalla, pero en el momento en que sencillamente no era que sólo buscan hambrientos, un impulso de cafeína. Nos sirvieron con tazas de porcelana, jarra de leche, selección de azúcar, servilletas y cubiertos ya estaban sobre la mesa. Cuando nos fuimos nos estuvieran espiando una tentadora variedad de helados - para otro día (caliente).

The cakes arn't cheap but if you want something special , its the place to get a great cake. For me the ones without to much icing are the best, as the other tend to be a little sickly

Wonderful afternoon tea with scones, jam and cream. They came out smelling good, tasting good and they were deliciously warm. Good value for money too.

While it may seem incongruous to find a touch of Paris in this historic British town, dating back to the earliest days of Anglo-Saxon kings (originally "king's stone"), this authentic, charming but very crowded cafe has a history of its own. Established in 1926 to offer the delights of French patisserie cuisine to the Brits - from fruit tarts that are works of art to scrambled eggs on toast (how British!) - the menu is mouth-watering & entrees hot & cooked to perfection.

Great place for a cheap and cheerful lunch. Don't expect great service of fancy food - but poached eggs on toast or a smoked salmon salad, it does very well and at a good price.

Vine aquí para almorzar con un amigo, he estado en patisserie Valerie antes, pero normalmente sólo tienen un pastel y un café. Tuve un quiche con ensalada de patatas y que era asqueroso! El quiche era muy seco y duro, sinceramente, no puedo decir lo que había sucedido. La ensalada de patatas tenía tanta salsa en que tuve que tamizar a través de encontrar las patatas y cuando no lo eran realmente difícil, casi cruda! Mi amigo tenía un queso y tomate bungaloes pero el pan era muy duro, y no había casi no hay queso en bits sólo enormes de tomate. Las únicas cosas que estaban bien era el café y el servicio, me quedaré con tarta la próxima vez.

A great little place just off the apple market, with a wide range of desserts available, along with hot drinks. Perfect for the sweet tooth and lover of rich desserts whilst people watching of the market in a central Kingston location. A must visit.

Very nice coffee and cakes for dessert or afternoon tea at very good prices! Many varieties of cakes, pies , scones, sandwiches. The chocolate cake is out of the world, rich and moist. Hot chocolate is not overly sweet which suits me perfectly! Will come back again to try other bakes.

Miré en a Patisserie Valerie ya que como las tartas de otras ramas. Sin embargo, como siempre, los croissants eran extremadamente pobre - grande y seco. Café era bueno.

¡Por Dios! Servicio lento, comida mediocre selección de pasteles no como el de Soho! El decepcionado en visita, fuimos allí para tomar un té especial por la tarde. pasteles estaban secos y probado no muy fresco. Té no estaba muy caliente. Muy regular guión y calidad de servicio de té de la tarde. No tengo prisa en volver pero mi amiga para como ir allí.

We visited Patisserie Valerie due to recommendations from friends and they were not wrong.The presentation of Finger Sandwiches, Cakes, Scones with Jam and Cream together with unlimited pots of Tea was very good.The food was tasty and the staff were very attentive.Would recommend for tea and cakes anytime of the day.

Este lugar es una opcion muy valida para los que contratan hoteles sin desayunos. LA calidad de los te y las panificaciones es buenisima. El precio es acorde a lo que te sirven. Mejor que Starbucks por lejos!

I always enjoy Patisserie Valerie, whether its savoury or sweet, and the one in Kingston is no exception. However is short on seating and I don't go for takeouts.

Si están buscando un buen lugar para tomer te y comer scones, éste es el lugar. Todo es muy rico y tiene una buena ubicación. Lo más recomendable es el menú de te + scones, ya que viene con 2 scones partidos al medio, crema y un set de 6 mini mermeladas.

イギリスでアイスティーがあるお店は珍しい。ピーチティーとアイス、それとヘルシーだけど量たっぷりのサラダもお気に入り。クリーム系のケーキが多く、カロリーが高いと分かっていながらも、ショーケースのケーキの美しさについついつられてしまいます。

It's been a while since I ate there but I often pass and see the beautiful cakes in the window. They taste as good as they look! It's always packed in there, main reason I don't go in but I guess that speaks for itself

Anyone who says they don't like Patisserie Valerie pastries is telling a huge porkie! They are absolutely delicious and massive! I usually save half for later because they're almost obnoxiously big - in a good way of course. I've had their little quiches a few times too, the pastry can be a but salty, but overall still delicious.

Posto carino e abbastanza pulito in cui fare colazione (io ho provato solo a colazione).Personale gentile e disponibile, ma purtroppo lento.Servono il tè in caratteristiche teiere (non la solita di alluminio, per capirci) e hanno una vasta scelta di croissant e dolcetti (eclat, cupcakes, mini cake..oltre alla possibilità di acquistare e prenotare torte bellissime e buonissime per ogni evento).Servono anche una buona colazione salata e la tipica colazione inglese.Buono!

Croissant was supposed to be their specialty but too bad it turned out to be cold, dry and hard! Let alone tasteless. Scones were dry and left there for a long time too. Their pastries were all left there for a long time.... Cake was way too sweet. Service? The waiting staff was very reluctant to attend to us (couldn't even be bothered to put on a smile!), it took us forever to engage with her. There's a service charge we're paying and is that what we are supposed to get?

We had breakfast at Pattiserie Valerie twice, at two different branches. Eggs Benedict were very delicious! Unfortunately, the pastries themselves were very disappointing and not tasty at all. Also it took a lot of time for food to be served. And the place is not cheap at all. For such a price we would expect a better quality of pastries.

Went into a patisserie valerie in derby and payed a whopping £2.75 for a earl grey tea that wasn't even that good the cup was dirty aswell and when they sat me down they gave me a knife and fork without even asking if I was eating felt very awkward ! The decor of the place isn't even very nice it's more brash than chique!!!Oh and since when has cheesecake muffins and cupcakes been French also cappuccino latte and mocha are all Italian types of coffee drink ! I grew up in France and have never seen a cappuccino on their menue It should be noisette grand creme and cafe aux lait !
