No volveremos.

Visited Desvins while I had some time to spare. After seating myself was promptly approached by a server, who took my order. I ordered a champagne cocktail and the coq au vin. It was simply divine. However, the only downside to the afternoon was that, while eating, i was not offered any refreshment even when my glass was empty, even when trying to signal for service. They have some fantastic staff in the kitchen. Well worth coming for a bite to eat even if the servers seem a little inexperienced.

I was recently at St. Pancras, waiting for my train back to Sheffield. I chose to go into DesVins because it looked different to some of the more generic coffee shops in the station. I was in the mood for a coffee and a small bite to eat, so I went with a cappuccino and a toasted brioche. It was simply delicious! I tried the DesVins roast, which is their own coffee blend, and it was really good, very rich in flavour. All in all, it was a great atmosphere in there, the staff were very friendly and it definitely had that French feel to it. I will make a point of visiting the next time I’m at the station.

I dropped in to try their new breakfast menu this week with a colleague and was not disappointed. We ordered a croquet monsieur each (I had camembert and salami whilst my colleague opted for the regular cheese and ham) as well as the buttermilk pancakes to share. We both enjoyed the croques, although we did say it would be nice to have them come sliced, and the pancakes were lovely and light with fresh yoghurt and fruit. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. DesVins is perfect for a light bite and we'll try and stop in again for a glass of wine another time.

And if that coffee was a medium, I'd hate to see a small one!The food when it arrived was only so so but the biggest thing that stuck in our mind was the wait!As I said, there were empty tables inside and out and yet my wife queued for ages to get served and then after returning with our drinks we waited for our food to arrive. We were there mid Sunday afternoon and as always in St Pancras, the station was busy. This place was fullish too but with customers waiting for their food. We had to wait 20 minutes for a bowl of indifferent mushroom soup. This was accompanied by the most pallid bread you had ever seen. When we complained about the wait we were told that the waitress had spilled a bowl! When we left there were two separate queues waiting to be served, one of 9 people and the other of 8, so we reckon that would be 17 disgruntled customers. Station cafes should be for fast ( in delivery terms) food......this is not the place for that or even for decent food. There are other places. so go there.

We stopped here for a light dinner before catching a train. The menu, though small, had something that appealed to everyone, and the side portion of chips was a very generous size, and tasty too! However, someone should tell the waiter that it's rude to start clearing the table before everyone has finished eating - he was actually hovering while I finished my food, leaving me feeling very rushed!

This place has not got good reviews recently but we enjoyed our plate of charcuterie and cheese. Together with a couple of glasses of wine, it cost over £30 so it was not cheap but there was plenty of fresh bread and the wines are stored in a device that fills the bottles with inert gas, so it doesn't become oxidised (I was told). The staff are very friendly and attentive. I was quite happy with my visit.

This restaurant gave us the worst food we have suffered in years. My "breakfast bap" of anaemic bacon, sausage and scrambled egg was actually re-heated - the bun was half-toasted on the OUTSIDE and the filling was half cold - and my partner's chicken sandwich was flabby, soggy and bland. Even the tea hardly had the strength to come out of the pot. We didn't have time to complain as we were between trains, obviously the kind of customer this place relies on, so we just left half of our excuse for food, which was £5.50 per sandwich, so not even cheap.

My boyfriend and I had a couple hours to kill on a Friday morning/afternoon, so we decided to dine in for some breakfast and a beverage. I had a rustic ham and cheese baguette, he went for the eggs Benedict. The service was speedy and the food was great, it contained nice, quality ingredients. The price was reasonable too. Shortly afterwards we grabbed another round of drinks and walking back from the counter, I was surprised at how busy the place had gotten. The two men serving (French, I think) were the fastest and most efficient workers I'd ever seen and they got rid of a long queue in minutes. Unfortunately the croissants had sold out by that point and a couple of the waitresses kept coming to our table as if they were rushing us out, as we had finished our drinks, but they did leave us to it. There were also no toilets on the premises.

Mulled cider didn't have a hint of alcohol in it and yet cost £5 for 125ml! Baguettes were so white like the part-baked frozen ones from a supermarket. Popped in for a quick drink at this cosy looking place with friends, before boarding a train. My beer was OK but their capuccinos were luke warm and very small. Sunday 3rd November - popped in here for quick snack and drink. Rude staff - wouldn't let us bring in our push-chair and luggage - told us to keep it outside. When we did, we were told in no uncertain terms to move it away. Ordered a smoothie - told didn't have any - even if they were homemade. General unpleasant attitude - don't seem to realise that travellers in an international railway station may have luggage and want to kept it close by. Ended up going to The Betjeman Arms on the upper level. Had superb food, fresh and homemade, good service, heaters and able to keep our luggage near. So go there instead.

Travelling on my own as I often do, & staying close to St Pancras Kings Cross stations I was looking for somewhere close at hand to have my evening meal. I wandered through the concourse & found this lovely looking restaurant, a quick look at the menu for 'healthy Options', I thought this will do nicely, I ordered my food at the Bar, that's the way they do it there, listened to the recommendation of the server & ordered the half chicken meal.I have to say that the 'dish presented & served to me at my table' was not quite what I was expecting. The chicken was very ordinary, the potatoes 'small' were oily & in their skins. There was a teeny little pot of a cold vegetable, I think it was red peppers. I was hungry so I ate it all. Was I satisfied you may ask? Well kind of, I had a meal, which fulfilled a function. I was hungry & it filled me & took away my hunger. My first impression of the restaurant was a positive one!!! But sadly they are trying to 'punch way above their weight' The concept of this French Style restaurant is good, but sadly the only thing French about if was it's French Name...Maybe I was there on one of those 'off moments' .... But I don't think so :-(

In the heart of busy St Pancras station, this is a cosy wine bar and restaurant serving a wide range of drinks, burgers, fish and salads. Classy decor, and seating out on the concourse. Inside it is a relaxing place to spend an hour between trains. Good value, we had a Greek salad, sausage, egg and bacon sandwich, chips, garlic bread and 2 rounds of drinks for £20. The bread was a little unusual, think it may have been pesto rather than garlic butter, but otherwise a good meal. Only drawback is that most of these eateries do not have toilets and rely on the station facilities. The loo is a short walk away and it is at least free!

The staff are friendly and efficient, the background music well chosen, and the place is welcoming and clean. Turquoise had just opened. They've done a fabulous job in redecorating the old Cafe Rouge. Brightly coloured, it's warm and welcoming and the food is very good. I've only eaten there once with a friend, but we both really enjoyed our lunches. I had garlic prawns; she had lamb chops and both were delicious. In the centre of Highgate Village, it's a lovely place to pop in for coffee, which I have also done.

We ate here a couple of times during our stay near St Pancras station. It was convenient and accessible. It has a large menu with a variety of breakfast/lunch options. We were happy to see that they could accommodate our son's gluten-free diet (celiac) and the food was good and safe for him. The service is good given that this is a very busy place in a very busy train station. We never had to wait for a table.

If you're looking for the best crêpes in town, don't miss the original crêpe stand—it's amazing and totally worth the visit! Be careful not to confuse it with the new stand next door run by a local pub; it doesn't match the quality of the original. Stick with the best!
