Le Pain Quotidien in Camden

We ordered 3 brunches and served by Lucio (waiter). He provided a good service.

I've had some good lunches here and at other branches but very poor customer service for take-away breakfast today - shouted at for using the email receipt function offered on the card machine. Had to ask for the hot chocolate to be heated up properly and then shouted out all the way out of the shop by the assistant who complained of being tired!

Your staff Lucio, he is very nice and patient to help us order the food.

Found le pain quotidien in London! Apparently it’s the only location too. My server Lucio was very nice.

Lucio was a great waiter, and served us quickly. 4 stars, because the food could've come a little quicker, and the avocado on toast wasn't salted at all.

Am sitting here now enjoying the delicious hot coffee and excellent service. A beaut place to relax and people watch. So nice and clean.

Take away Flat whites here are basically big cups of milk. £3.8wasted.

The food and customer service were both very good. My stomach was tired after coming to Europe, so I was relieved to be able to eat vegetables, quinoa, avocado, etc. in the breakfast bowl. The mint tea also contains a lot of leaves, which I thought was different from Japan.

The baked goods are delicious and the people who work here are so kind! They get there in the middle of the night so we can enjoy fresh croissants in the morning, I love to stop by and give them a smile 😊

The food here is absolutely amazing, I had a comfortable stay and was served by a lovely young blonde gentleman with great customer service. The coffee was excellent, exactly the way I like it - I definitely will be recommending this to my friends and returning again!

Has a welcoming atmosphere alongside great food and service specifically from a young man with blonde hair who made me and my significant other feel welcomed. The scrambled eggs and coffee were high quality.

The place was nice although the food was dry. When i asked for yogurt on the side they put it on top of my French toast and the food took 30 minutes to arrive.

Great atmosphere but super average food at high prices. The coffee here isn’t special it’s the standard super burnt non-speciality coffee bean type. The salad I ordered was too salty, the salmon didn’t taste fresh and was a bit dry and the dressing was just ok. Wouldn’t go back here for lunch. The deserts and pastries are nice. I once got a pecan pie but they only do those during select seasons. Service was ok too.

Probably one of the worst experience I’ve had at a café first their staff is incredibly under trained after having paid they asked me to go sit down and once I sat they brought me the food without my drink after 10 minutes I went to ask for the delay they said I had to go take the drink myself. I asked them why they didn’t clarify this and after some back-and-forth the employee decided to start shouting experts at me while the other employees try to calm them down while others also decided to join in this incredibly unprofessional. Not once they even offer an apology or anything. Instead they handed me a cold drink which was supposed to be a hot tea absolutely worst experience if only the food tasted good enough to make up for the absolute lack of service absolutely would not recommend even as a last resort.

Always worried if you’re going for a train but I had lovely boiled eggs toast and hot good coffee within minutes of having been sat efficiently. Good start to the day !! Thank you

I went here on a busy Saturday afternoon (22nd March) and was met by possibly the most miserable waitress I have ever come across. The disgruntled lady in her late 40s / early 50s barely let me through the door - it was obvious she did not want to be there at all and couldn’t wait to rush out the doors at 17:30. The young man who took my order and the non-binary person who handed me my bill, however, were absolutely pleasant throughout my time at Le Pain Quotidien. Please continue to hire more people like those two. I can’t fault the tea or chocolate bomb either.

Los tres miembros del personal que nos encontramos eran hoscos, el café se servía en tazas de vidrio tan caliente al tacto que tuvimos que usar pañuelos para recogerlos, y los precios eran demasiado altos (9 libras esterlinas. 79 para dos cafés con leche). El precio incluía un 12. Cargo por servicio del 5 % que solo se puso de manifiesto una vez efectuado el pago. Esta visita será recordada por todas las razones equivocadas.

I had only been eating scones in the so-called orthodox shape, so I was surprised to find out that there are scones like this, and they were so big. Due to the location, even though it was busy, orders were taken quickly.

I love the atmosphere of this hall at St Pancras station! Nice to eat there for a cappuccino and a (calorie-rich) blackberry tart!

EZZ was very kind and had good customer service.

I visited to eat scones, but they were all gone. Instead, I ordered a lemon tart and an English breakfast set, and it was several times more delicious than the tart I had in Korea. Of course, I was disappointed because I wanted to eat an English scone, but I left after eating a sufficiently satisfying dessert.

Stale almond croissant (10am in the morning) for over £4, scorching hot undrinkable cappuccino. You're better off going to the opposite M&S for breakfast. Truly embarrassing.

It's ok if you want to eat something on the go... The welcome is quite cold and impersonal. As for the food, it's acceptable but nothing more. The pain au chocolat... How can I put it! Very expensive for what it is but these are London prices. I think you can find much better at the same price.

The worst customer service I've ever known. Do you not train your staff? A smile would be nice. So brusque and unfriendly. Never again!

I went here today at 19.00 alone for almost an hour. Ordered a fruit tart and hot chocolate whilst reading my book. The atmosphere was lovely but the main thing was the service. The waiter working at this time was efficient in taking my order and so accommodating when it came to paying. I didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable relaxing with my book. I had my phone on charge the entire time which the waiter so helpfully put on charge for me so I didn't get any photos but the food looked and tasted lovely. Fully recommend if you're waiting for your train and much love for that waiter!

I'm very surprised by the incredible service what i got today, the place was busy as usual but staff offered everyone with proper attention. My experience was briliant here. Please visit them while waiting for train.

When Waiting for my train I went to le pain best service everyone was so lovely and polite, amazing energy and food was delicious.

This was in busy St Pancras station but the restaurant was unnecessarily cold, even with a lot of traffic in and out and doors open. The food sounds interesting but the menu seems a bit muddled. We had the Pot au Feu which was quite bland and basically carrot and beans and onion with some untoasted hemp bread 'croutons' - but then two enormous bits of bread as well. The most unimpressive aspect was the very reluctant and unfriendly service. We had to work hard for attention and then it seemed grudging. Nice crockery and some nice sounding things on the menu, but the service was appalling!

I was so disappointed. Terrible food & even the tea! The cafe looks lovely from outside . Perhaps the sandwich bar is better? But the food & drink we had was honestly very bad. The insult to injury? - overpriced for poor quality food. Not acceptable.

Got in, wouldn’t get served for about 15 minutes. Finally got their attention and got a super rude response. Asked for gluten free bread, first lady said they had it. Then she left and a guy came over. He said they didn’t have any so I replied ‘ok never mind’. Left to find something else to eat as my mum was eating here already. Got back and had a plate put down in front of me. Same meal as my mum just without bread, which i did NOT ask for. Very confused and customer service was disgustingly awful. I didn't write anything for 6 years but LPQ oddly replied, 6 years later, to my 1 star rating... so I felt the need to explain why a 1 star rating, with actual words. Here we go. I have a problem with this place everywhere I go, basically. There seem to be just... the wrong people hired to manage it. Every time, everywhere, in every country they open up shop. They somehow manage to make me feel unwanted and there's some serious cringe about the place. Like with everything in life, it all starts from the top. When a basic-level employee is not interested in doing a simple job well, like helping a client with a napkin and a smile, or making some decent coffee, it's because no care is involved. And because the place smells of Fear rather than Coffee. Fear of the manager, who is afraid of his manager, so on, all they way up to the CEO. It's all about management, in life, in business, and at LPQ. The Daily Pain. As I prefer to call it.

Absolutely delicious and beautifully presented food! The toast with prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, ricotta, and pesto was a perfect mix of savory and creamy flavors. The smoked salmon toast with fresh cucumber, radish, and a poached egg was light, refreshing, and full of texture. The hot chocolate was beautifully made with a rich, velvety foam. The rustic plating and cozy wooden table setting added to the overall experience. Highly recommend for a great brunch spot! Will definitely be coming back.

Extremely rude staff. My order was delayed, and when I wanted to ask about it, they just handed me the check for food I haven't received. Never apologized.

Friendly efficient staff, but over priced and over rated. Had a cup of tea and a slice of carrot cake. Tea was ok, but a bit perfumed (meant to be English breakfast, but more like Earl grey). The carrot cake was pretty awful. More like a dry fruit cake. Just sweet with no flavour (and not a hint of carrot), why..?

Lucio was attentive and prompt with our orders. He was pleasant and friendly. We enjoyed his service, and the food was delicious.

Been at St. Pancras unit earlier today, around 6:30am and was very well served by Filip - at least on the bill ticket that's the name. A young blonde lad who was awaiting tables by himself and doing a great job. Seating new customers, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, taking payments...veeeeeery efficient! I used to work as a waiter a few hears ago and I know the struggle. Is nice to see someone do a really great job! 👏

We had a very decent dinner served with efficiency and extreme kindness. Following a health incident, all staff demonstrated immediate responsiveness by providing all the necessary care with great attention.

Very nice smoked chicken and mozzarella tartine. The team were great, service was swift and friendly. They worked like a well oiled machine and were pleasant to everyone. Just what you want

This is a really nice place! I would say that it is among the best places to eat. No matter how busy they are, the staff members are always incredibly kind and knowledgeable especially Attila. P. He (Attila) has served me a few times, and each time he has demonstrated exceptional customer service skills.. I would love to go here at this place every time.

We went for dessert. We had the fruit cheesecake and the panna cotta tart. Both delicious. Would highly recommend.

I recently sat in here with my Nan for a quick coffee and orange juice before our Eurostar train. Both were overpriced for what it was, but we expected that for the location. What we did not expect was the poor service. Up until we had to pay, service wasn’t out of the ordinary. It was all we expected, we placed an order and got our drinks - nothing special. So when I asked to not pay the additional discretionary £2 service fee (because it was already £10 for a small coffee and juice, plus service was nothing other than what you’d expect from a busy cafe) our waiter seemed put off and said he couldn’t change the price on the digital Eftpos machine (although we saw him type in the price, and I myself have used one before and know you can just cancel it and put in a new price very easily) and that he had to go get his manager to take the service fee off. This was fine as I understand needing to grab your manager, he could’ve been new or untrained in that particular part. What we weren’t impressed by was when he said he’d go find his manager we saw him just roam around the back of the restaurant in a circle and start cleaning other tables/organising menus. Not trying to find his employer. He then completely ignored us and moved into serving new people and what seemed to be finding anything else to do but serve us. He ignored us for the next 10 minutes as we watched him circle around aimlessly trying to find something to keep him busy, not speaking to any other employees. He then came up to us and said he tried but can’t find his manager so we will have to pay the service fee. We ended up having to pay it as we needed to get to security for our trip. I know it’s only an extra £2 but it’s the principle of not wanting to pay for service like that. Am not in any rush to go back.

Great service from Lucio. He was alert and let us know to keep our awareness on onlookers trying to steal our luggage. A nice gentleman serving in the early morning breakfast. Will visit here again. Food is great too !

there is a racist guy working there. i got ghosted by him, for example not giving me a menu nor guiding me to a table, but others were nice. still payed the service fee for other workers, but well, hope this doesn't happen to others.

The food is always fresh and delicious. I love their sandwiches, so flavorful and beautifully served and their pastries are amazing too. Pair it with a cappuccino or a fresh juice, and it’s just perfect. The staff are brilliant—friendly, quick, and attentive, even when it’s busy.

Visited this restaurant before taking the train, everything was really delicious and the staff is helpful, the dishes are prepared quickly, I recommend!

Nice food and well behaviour, just lovely!

Used to be a regular when travelling into London. Popped in on a Saturday morning and the experience was starkly different. Porridge was served cold, avo toast had an awful bitter taste. The serrvice was poor, bordering on rude. Their card machine also did not work properly. Won't be visiting again.

Staff seemed fed up. Flat white was very bitter and the mozzarella, pesto and tomato toastie was very bland, not impressed for £8.95!
