Pomme De Pain in Camden

nous avons diné chez Pomme de Pain un dimanche et nous avons été très bien accueillies. L'équipe est très professionnelle et parle meme français. Nous avons mangé une galette complète qui était très bonne, comme en Bretagne. Nous y reviendrons bientôt c'est certain. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour leur accueil.

Not just this coffee outlet. Had to go to Starbucks to get a regular coffee. Most coffee shops in London only serve espressos???

Needed somewhere to have a bit to eat for breakfast on a recent trip to London...really quirky place to eat, food was great, I had the banana and nutella crepe which was really good. If you need a friendly place to grab a quick bite to eat you should try this place, friendly staff and good value for money.

A good place to grab a breakfast, lunch or cup of coffee. They make gluten free galettes/ crepes, which taste great, and have selection if dairy free milk.

Called in for a quick mid afternoon snack, while staying at a nearby hotel. Lovely clean cafe, with good , swift service and nice food. Great value.

Excellent customer service; friendly and helpful staff who even apologised for the wait we had for our order which was no time at all. Menu is clearly displayed at the rear of the cafe which offers variety of food including omelettes, savoury/or sweet crepes, salads, sandwiches, danish and sweet treats all of which is prepared fresh on order. Good amount of tables and seating for couples, families or larger groups. We ordered Nutella and strawberry crepes with cappuccinos.... AMAZING! I was even happier as they had a milk alternative for my coffee. Can’t wait til we can go again. Highly recommend

Still recovering from overnight flight when we stumbled onto this lovely little French restaurant in London. We had a pot of tea and pastries. Very French.

Good coffee, crepes (both sweet and savoury) and great pastry! Nice service and allround atmosphere.

Looking for a quick light bite before a theatre show, we found this place, pancakes? Ideal we though as they won't sit heavy. So many options to have too, sweet or savoury. We had a couple of the savoury ones, and they were delicious, we had hoped to go back for a sweet one after the performance, but sadly time ran away from us.

This could be a lot better but they seem very disorganised. Tables sit uncleared and they often lose more time by running behind with the orders and needing to offer to bring them to the table. Fortunately what they do is good - they need to improve surely, to inhabit such a high profile space om this road

Visited here three times in July and enjoyed the tasty coffee and delicious pastel de nata. Visited again today and the pastry was not good - stodgy and greasy rather than delicate and flaky as it had been before; a new supplier perhaps? £2.20 was daylight robbery for this. The coffee was almost undrinkable - very bitter and no chocolate flavour at all (I ordered a mocha). It’s a pleasant place to sit and watch people walk by but that’s it. Didn’t visit the toilet this time as last time it was filthy which put me off. Perhaps I should have seen that as an indication of quality. There are plenty of places nearby so one of them will get my custom tomorrow.

Lite paus i shoppandet. En 3 ägg omelett med tillbehör. Väldigt smakligt och fint upplagt! Några uteplatser finns, men inte många. Trevlig personal.

After walking around the city, I'm glad I found this nice cafe just to relax, even on the little of bit busy street. They served great coffee, friendly people. I went there twice while staying London. I should try some crepes next time.

Fabulous crepes, omelettes, baguettes, really hot drinks, ended up having breakfast lunch and dinner here, it was so good. Really recommended.

Trevligt inrett, men dyrt i förhållande till det man fick.Ligger i samma byggnad som St. Giles Hotel. Personalen som tog emot beställning kunde knappt engelska, så jag fick repetera orden och peka. Jag beställde en pannkaka. Smakade ok, den var stor men lövtunn. Alltså inte mycket mat i den! Den var INTE värd £4. Går inte tillbaka. Även veganrätter.

Dopo aver camminato parecchio, sotto la pioggia, abbiamo trovato quello locale accogliente, offre piatti particolari. Io ho provato solo l crepes e sono rimasta colpita da tanta bontà!

Went to Pomme De Pain today after seeing it on my way to work thought I would try it for lunch when meeting a friend. It was amazing, it at first seems expensive for a savory pancake but it was worth every penny. Loads of filling and really tasty and the restaurant is also clean and well presented. Would massively recommend a visit .

I found the staff really brilliant, very attentive and of course fantastic at making coffee. I had a matcha green latte and smoothie, they were extremely fast at serving us and they catered for an allergy with no problems, thank you to the server at the till with hat and glasses.It was a very busy morning and I found they handled the queues very professionally, it is definitely worth a visit!

Went here this morning for breakfast and really enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly and the crepes were yum. I’m a big fan of coffee and theirs didn’t disappoint :) would recommend if you’re staying nearby or at the hotel St. Giles next door.

Lovely little cafe! We had juices and I had the carrot and ginger soup- amazing and filling. My friend had a crepe- it was beautifully plated and quite tasty! The staff were very friendly and the place was clean. Will go back!

We came across this place as Garfunkels had a problem with their kitchen. The crepes are sooo nice. We had the breakfast crepe. Filled us up that we didn't have any lunch! The staff are helpful and friendly. Nice atmosphere. A bit expensive but worth it.

I always stay at St. Giles Hotel when in London, but I never have breakfast in the hotel. The reason for this is that Pommes De Pain is just around the corner, only 50 steps away from the hotel entrance. Here you get the perfect breakfast for less money.

Cute little cafe opened until 10pm at night does nice teas/coffees, food and desserts!! Me and my mum went in lovely atmosphere and staff are friendly. Would recommend it’s just along from Tottenham Court Road station so ideal and handy and very easy to get to with short walks to everything

Great coffee and chocolate brownie. Service was slow and my first coffee was served cold. The staff were quick to bring a replacement, which thankfully was nice and hot!

Un lugar tranquilo y silencioso para el café que descubrimos por casualidad cuando no pudimos encontrar un asiento en las grandes cadenas de cafeterías, ¡como siempre ocurre en el centro de Londres! Pomme de Pain no parece estar medio ocupado, es un lugar encantador para charlar con un café con leche y se siente escondido a pesar de estar en una zona tan ocupada. ¡Los precios del café son razonables y definitivamente volveremos en el futuro!

Gelido pomeriggio novembrino, bella camminata da Camden ma necessitavo di scaldarmi. Vedo questo locale, tutto vetrate, da fuori sembra davvero molto accogliente e decido di fermarmi per un caffè ed un dolcetto.

Found this place at the corner of my hotel and it is beautiful. Fresh things every day, good coffe, bakery, soup and great service. The place is designed modernly yet cozy with French touch. Don't miss it!

Stopped off for a coffee and the kids chose crepes too. Nice airy cafe, coffee was good, crepes were good too. Service was friendly. Nothing was exceptional, but nothing was poor either. Would certainly return if passing.

Si desea gastar 8 en una tortilla que demora 15 minutos porque los camareros se quedan mirando fijamente al espacio, que sabe sin sal y que es el lugar perfecto para venir. ¿Por qué no lavarlo con el jugo de naranja que cuesta más que un viaje a Valencia, donde las hadas las recogen las naranjas y los duendes que añaden oro líquido real? Por supuesto, Pomme de Pain no necesita competir, no es como si estuviera en una calle principal de Londres con cientos de cafés más baratos e incómodos donde el wifi realmente funciona. Quién sabe por qué nunca hay una cola.

Auf unserem Nachmittagsstadtrundgang überkam ins der Appetit nach etwas Süßem. Wir entschieden uns für das Pomme De Pain in der Nähe der Oxford Street. Die Bestellung wird direkt am Tresen aufgegeben und danach sucht man sich erst einmal einen Platz. Die Tafel mit den angebotenen Speisen ist ziemlich übersichtlich und bietet keine besonderen Highlights. Wir entschieden uns für einen Nutella-Erdbeer-Bananen-Crêpe und setzen uns dann an eine Bank am Fenster. Das Mobiliar ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, aber dennoch zweckmäßig. Die Bedienung war freundlich und brachte uns unsere Bestellung an den Tisch. Der Crêpe war lecker, aber wie gesagt: überhaupt nichts besonderes oder extravagantes.

I tried it as an alternative to one of the better known chains and was well pleased. My baguette was tasty and the coffee was good. The service was pleasant and it was nice to relax and watch the hustle and bustle along the road outside. Good service, and even if it is a tad more expensive than some, it was worth visit.

Cornetti freschi e continuamente sfornati, il caffè non è per niente buono, non che mi aspettassi chissà che cosa. Ti fanno pagare il servizio al tavolo se rimani lì a consumare la colazione, peccato che il servizio al tavolo sia inesistente.

Vi bodde på et hotell like ved og spiste frokost her de tre morningene vi hadde i London. Gode franske frokostretter, ferskpresset jus, god kaffe og hyggelig betjening. Kan anbefales.

On y mange de délicieuses crêpes et galettes préparées par des Frenchies, on y retrouve donc exactement le goût des véritables crêpes bretonnes (voire mieux…). L'accueil est excellent, une équipe jeune, souriante et avenante ! Pour nous qui étions avec des enfants, c'est l'endroit idéal. Je recommande sans restrictions. Allez-y les yeux fermés !!!

I returned at the invitation of the management having posted a “poor” review earlier in the year. The place is much better now that the new management has settled in, with welcoming staff, great atmosphere and new decor. The toilets are now much improved. I tried a freshly made sweet pancake at the manager’s suggestion and it was delicious and beautifully presented.

Remembered this cafe from having pre theatre beverages a while ago so made our way here at 1830 after checking closing time which was 21.00 though the door did say 20.00 on a piece of paper. However we were told rudely that they were shutting - we won’t return and found a far nicer establishment up the road called ‘planet organic’.

Queríamos un snack antes de ir al teatro y paré en este pequeño restaurante. Puedes pedir en el mostrador, y la camarera le trae la comida a la mesa. Mi marido, nieto, y todo lo que tenía croissants con jamón y queso fundido. A todos nos gustó. El restaurante hace café y bebidas, pero optamos por soda en lata. Este era un lugar conveniente y agradable para una comida ligera. Me gustó bastante el oilcloth revestimientos en algunas de las mesas.

Si estaba a los miembros más jóvenes de nuestra familia nos iba a resultar en una de esas tiendas americanas con sistemas electrónicos, sabes pedir que me refiero. Recogida en una imagen no es para mí, prefiero hablar con una persona, preguntan qué se puede recomendar, hay algún tipo de ofertas especiales, etc.

Decidí ir a este lugar para un aperitivo rápido. El lugar estaba completamente vacío alrededor de las 6:30 pm.

Nos fuimos a la Pomme de Pain para una rápida taza de té antes de ir al teatro. El servicio era distante - la falta de empatía. Mi taza tenía una desagradable, chip sucio en la parte superior y cuando señalamos al camarero, únicamente con el té en otra taza, en vez de verter una taza.

We called in here for a coffee before going to the Dominion Theatre, as this is only a short walk along the road. This place was very nice and the is certainly ok for a quick coffee.

This place seems to be running as a “pop up” between proper management. The front of house is clean and the food is tasty and competently made. £5.50 for a toasted baguette sandwich filled with just cheese and ham is not brilliant value. I didn’t...

Had my brunch there the Galettes with chicken , mushroom and creamy coconut. I am glad i came here for that particular time on the top the Carrot cake everything was just perfect . I would recommend this place as it fulfilled my demands immensely...

We ended up here on our way out for the day, not expecting much. However, we both ordered a different omelette and each of them was freshly made there and then and totally delicious! Would definitely go back there, the coffee was really nice too!

When I stay at St Giles Hotel, you must pass the café. It is perfect for breakfast or for a coffee night cap when heading back to the hotel.

This place has the best salted carmel crepe. It was perfect. The chai tea latte was spot on as well.

He visitado Pomme de Pain muchas veces, y aun no. Sin embargo, ya que cambiaron no hace mucho, ha perdido calidad en mi opinión.

Vi tog en sen fika. Jag åt en pannkaka och min fru en crepe. Trots att det var 30 min. innan stängning så var de till att börja med liiiite tveksamma till att göra min frus crepe.

Abbiamo fatto colazione in questo locale durante il nostro soggiorno a londra a fine Gennaio.. Io ho assaggiato sia i muffin al cioccolato, buoni ma consiglierei di togliere la crema alla vaniglia perchè così sono davvero pesanti, e il bluberry muffin, delizioso. Il mio moroso il brownie, molto buono anche quello.

We went here for breakfast as we were staying nearby and were pleasantly surprised. I had the potatoes omelette and it was so good. I also had a crepe and it was very tasty. All the staff were very pleasant.

Makkelijk om hier te ontbijten of lunchen. We werden erg snel geholpen en moesten zelf het ontbijt bestellen. Erg lekker en vers tegen een acceptabele prijs. Als je het daar op eet betaal je iets meer dan dat je het mee neemt. Je kan er in ieder geval goed zitten.

La verdad que acostumbrados a España, un lugar así es como que diferente, tipo self Service, el precio algo elevado pero para estar en pleno centro de Londres, se da besado. Para otra quizás que vuelva, buen trato y servico!!!

The pastries and coffee are very tasty here, and the selection is decent. It's a great place to stop between the Tube and the British Museum. The staff is courteous. Seating is plentiful, a rarity in London.

Il posto è accogliente e c'è una buona scelta di cose dolci e salate, ma il cappuccino per essere buono richiede che sia buono il caffè. Ci abbiamo fatto colazione due volte ma , come quasi ovunque a Londra, i cappuccini non erano buoni, perlomento non abbastanza per il gusto italiano.

Detta cafet har bra utbud även för vegetarianer, man kan beställa crepes med olika fyllningar. Personalen är trevlig och hjälpsam. Rekomenderar den vegetariska salladen.

Visited Pomme De Pain on Oct 5th for brunch to kill time before an appointment, ordered the Italian panini & a cappuccino, both were ok at typical London prices though my criticism is the hygiene here, dirty floor & tables, tatty furniture & an awful dirty & smelly unisex toilet, c'mon Pomme De Pain, with so many other similar in Tottenhm Court Rd, why drop your hygiene?

Good baguettes.. crispy and delicious. Nice location, just a few minutes walk from the station. Great place to take a bit before going to the theater. Will visit again.

Kaffen er god. Det går hurtigt og de har fine omeletter med rigtig god smag. Det er noget bedre end gennemsnittet og de er ovenikøbet flinke. Der er noget charmerende fransk over stedet. Billig morgenmad i sammenligning med hotel. Kommer gerne igen.
