The best restaurants serving French food in London

Prices are ridiculously overcharged, for a bottle of 15£ they ask you for 55£ and so on, so we asked for some beers, mine was expired, they changed it but don't pay too much attention or apologize, they even include us service charge after that( while service didn't exist at all) So definitely not worthy to visit.

The last few times I bought the fraisier cake in the past years it was not good at all. It used to be my favourite cake that I bought for my family’s birthdays every year and I thought maybe I just had a bad batch but they seem to have changed the recipe. The taste is incomparably inferior now despite the price having gone up

Popped in today to have lunch and we were very disappointed. We are both vegan and not only there are only two options for us (we chosee one each) but when they arrive both were flavourless and tasted like it was directly taken from a can from Tesco. The salad was covered in salad cream (from Heinz possibly) with two halfed cherry tomatoes on top and the aubergine was not well cooked, just sliced and fried and put on top of a tomatoed can of chickpeas. The service was nice, the food, not good. Not for Vegans/Vegetarians

Food was good, service efficient but the atmosphere makes this place- does feel like a tiny little corner of France. Quite discombobulating stepping out into Soho!

I brought my friend and nephew to have afternoon tea and dinner. Rana and Sharmin.A served us and both were very helpful, ensuring we were happy with the food and service. I will definitely return and bring my sister. Both were exceptional waitresses and very polite. Thank you! xx

Estaba tan emocionada de visitar sketch. Llevaba a mi madre a desayunar como regalo del Día de la Madre. Visualmente, el sketch es bonito. Extraños, extraños trozos de mirar. A la llegada, la gente de recepción era encantador, nos llevaron a través de la sala de desayuno. Nuestra camarera era miserable, nada amable. Pedimos 2 desayunos completos y 2 tazas de té. Pedimos que no hubiera pudín negro... ambos llegaron con él en el plato. La camarera simplemente respondió ‘oh, el chef hace eso’. Los huevos estaban ‘mocosos’ poco cocidos, el tocino rayado era literalmente solo un trozo blanco de grasa. Fue terrible, y nuestra factura llegó a 66 libras. 60 . Cargo por servicio 15%! No gastes tu dinero en este lugar. Si la comida y el servicio hubieran sido buenos, me hubiera gustado pagar eso, pero ambos fueron los peores que he tenido. Sobreprecio, sobrevalorado.

Buena comida - he estado aquí anteriormente para el almuerzo - pero me sentí completamente excluido porque tienen cero opciones de GF para el desayuno. Bastante decepcionado porque ambos somos sensibles al trigo como lo son muchas personas en estos días, ¡por lo que ya no es ciencia de cohetes proporcionar pan GF de todas las formas y formas! Además de esto, el servidor no hizo ningún intento de ofrecernos algo que pudiéramos comer, y simplemente se quedó ahí parado. Terminó con huevo simple, no se muestra mucha hospitalidad.

Wow, what an amazing café, now called Delicatessen. Were super friendly and offered exceptional service. Good value quality and delicious food. Simple 5 stars and a shout out to the amazing staff. ⭐️🇬🇧

The location of Socca on South Audley is the former location of Richoux another French Bistro that was there for many many years but along with its other locations, didn't make it through Covid. On the recommendation of our concierge for a nearby location for a lite lunch we booked in. As nice as Richoux was, Socca is a big step above. The renovation of the space is beautiful, the staff attentive and food delicious. Beef Carpaccio, Green Bean Salad and Veal Meatballs shared by both of us with a glass of wine and espresso finish was more than enough. Every dish was excellent and we look forward to returning the next time we are in London. The restaurant is not large and popular, so bookings suggested.

Très bon et très joli. Toast avocat et toast oeufs brouillés délicieux. Service accueillant. Même les WC sont jolis:) Je recommande!

Busy Soho eatery, but the gnocchi was very nice and the service was very good - especially for a place in Soho. It does get very busy but the menu is decent and not crazy expensive, and it has a cute French vibe. The pastas were definitely the best thing.

Hermosa habitación y cálida bienvenida, fabulosa comida y vino, podría estar en París de no ser por el encanto de primera clase y la atención de la maitresse de maison. Almuerzo de menú con buena relación calidad-precio, acompañando vinos en copa bien elegidos y servidos. Espero volver a visitarnos.

Great staff, great location, and great breakfast. The hotel is a bit dated, but maintenance is good—you can see that it has had its best days. I highly recommend staying here. A Hilton experience as you would expect, thanks to the excellent staff.
