Looked after us with our reusable cups. And they have a toilet so good all round for the weary traveller. Enjoy.

Lovely little cafe, set back from the road, beside a children's playground. Both coffee and cake were excellent. Not perhaps the most comfortable of venues - a bit bare with the ambiance of a school drill hall - but the staff were friendly. Clientele seems to be mainly parents (with children on the swings!), dog walkers having a break, and the odd singleton on their laptop. I recommend it if you are in the vicinity.

I really am struggling to say anything good about this place. The food is mediocre at best and service is non-existent. I would avoid at all costs

Popped in to the Cafe Parisien for a quick breakfast bite to eat. It’s further away down Balham High Road and inevitably gets less passing trade. Very quiet on a Thursday morning but friendly staff. Food wise fairly simple and straightforward - I had a sausage and egg sour dough baguette and a latte, which was very fresh and tasty, equally good coffee. A place I’d definitely return to. Of note is the name - I think it may actually now be called Grain de Cafe!

¡Me encantó!

Went here for the weekend buffet with the family to celebrate a birthday. The food was amazing. I could not fault a single dish and was always pleasantly surprised by the mix of flavours and textures. For a foodie, it was heaven; I was spoilt for choice. This place is also a great option if you have a mix of vegetarians and meat eaters in the group as there is a large choice of vegetarian dishes. You can sample authentic cuisine from across India, including celebratory dishes (e.g. pongal/prasadam) which I have not seen elsewhere, in this one place. My only complaint is that they don't make the prices clear on their website. So I had to email them to find out. We paid £48 for an adult and £25 for a child (aged 4 to 8), under 4s are not charged (April 2024 prices).

I stopped by today to get a gift for a friend I know is into natural wine and I mentioned that I know little about it. I bought a bottle with Chris (the English one) and then I had a couple of glasses of wine with some cheese to learn a little while I'm here. The wine was good and Chris was very informative and social. He clearly knows wine very well but was patient explaining it to someone who's new to this type. I recommend this store to you whether you want to buy wine bottles or have a drink here they all seem to do this for the right reasons. Passionate about wine.

Good food and wine, ambience very nice in the restaurant. Service was very poor. Servers should be encouraged to not come directly to the table after having been on multiple smoking breaks. This lovely setting could be greatly improved by a better serving staff.
