Really good food especially for somewhere specialising in set menu dinners. Went in to try as looked really nice and would definitely come back. Waiter was friendly and helpful and place was lit perfectly with candles.

Nov24- post matinee late lunch. They had table for 3 as a walk-in. The decor and style is lovely and relaxed yet French. The staff were good and fast for service. The food was hot and delicious. Set dinner 2 course £20.90 and we had a bottle of Viognier and water and one dessert. £33 p/h AND they easily split the bill even without us asking! That's so helpful. Wonderful find and hope to go again. The mackerel starter was crispy skin and delicious (might have had a little more sharpness) and the seafood soup had plenty and a bread was on offer to mop up after! Friend had pork with lentils. We shared a tiramisu which was just right for 3.

I still feel like vomiting now, the mackerel smelled like a fish dump, but total fasting is better than this unthinkable thing. If you are Italian, go ahead and eat a sandwich that at least avoids vomiting

Food was great, but I did say it was for a birthday and 1 candle would be great for my partners birthday which they forgot!! Not impressed, service wasn’t up to scratch.

I’ve lived in London 15 years and must have walked past hundreds of times without seeing it. I was missing out. Snug and slightly chaotic but really lovely and fun French bistro. It feels very old school Soho. The food is outstanding, the service was great and we sat sharing a bottle of wine after our meal with no pressure of needing to leave. It was packed on a Friday night (always a good sign) with laughing, lots of loud talking and happy people.

What a find! We arrived in Soho and were lucky enough to get a table for 5 at short notice. The restaurant had a lovely feel to it, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly and the food was amazing. We all had 2 course menu and it was such great value. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

Had a lovely meal at Pierre Victoire! The confit duck was fantastic – crispy skin, tender meat that wasn’t rough or dry, and the gravy added a warm, hearty touch. The foie gras mousse was equally delightful, with the toast and apple balancing the flavors beautifully. Wine list was adequate, offering great selection to complement the dishes. The restaurant had great vibes, perfect for a cosy evening. Staff were mostly helpful and attentive. However, the service felt a bit rushed. We were only seated for 70 minutes before being urged to settle the bill, which took away from the otherwise enjoyable experience. Would still recommend for the food and atmosphere!

We were ignored by the servers as a group and were met condescending attitude by the bald chubby server when asked about certain items on the menu. The icing on the cake is when we asked for the bill, the same server just brought out the card machine with the total, so we had no idea what each item cost. When asked for a receipt, he went to print one out again with an attitude. This is when we noticed quite a difference in what the total that he showed us was and what each item cost. When we pointed it out, he said it was a mistake and charged us then correctly. It really felt like we were being scammed. Avoid at all costs if you are a person of colour

Went using a voucher from timeout. Was definitely a steal with the voucher. The duck was really good, the skin was super crispy. The creme brule was potentially one of the best I've ever had.

Not somewhere that I would visit again. Very average food, cramped tables, indifferent waiters. Lots of other places to eat in London so my first visit will be my last.

Excellent french restaurant in central London. We really enjoyed their classic Beef Bourguignon. We will definitely go back again

Wonderful restaurant with low level lighting and romantic setting. The restaurant has a really buzz about it, lively and makes you feel good as you can feel the good vibes. The staff are excellent, very attentive and efficient! You won’t be waiting long for whatever you order. The food is very tasty and generous potions. The drinks are very reasonably priced for central London. Highly recommend this restaurant, for any occasion.

Absolutely a hidden gem! We were very lucky to get a table, as it was soon packed full. The food was incredible, I had the duck which was divine! Nothing but high praise for this place, the waiter was lovely and the service was remarkable quick for how busy it was.

I’ve eaten here twice and will certainly be back! Food is delicious - the hake, the bourguignon, scallops!!! The service was great. Our server was very helpful for selecting a wine, even chatty by London standards. The ambiance definitely takes you out of the buzz of Tottenham court road. Overall, I’ve not a bad word to say about the place and you can’t beat the price

Delicious food and great service. Groups of six Saturday evening in Soho with last minute booking, I was impressed we managed to get a table. Expensive but perfectly cooked food. All of us polished our plates! We had a starter(some had the octopus and I had baked mussels) and as main we had Sea bass with prawns and it was so delicious, some had steaks and beef. My dessert was lovely apple blueberry crumble with ice cream. I would say great restaurant with great food and very good service but expensive.

Great service by Mirza. We really appreciated his knowledgable dish recommendations. The food arrived very quickly. We had the bavette steak and the sea bass. The steak was only ok. Fries not particularly tasty and a bit soggy. Sauce too salty. Also the portion of meat was very small, probably not even 6oz. It was very crowded and loud so this is not a place to go for good ambience. All in all, not too impressed and I wouldn’t specifically go back. But ok for an impromtu dinner when in the area.

A hidden gem of a restaurant! - The warm duck gizzard salad, finished off with a splash of apple cider vinegar, brings an unexpected burst of joy to your taste buds! - The confit duck is grilled to crispy perfection, drizzled with a rich, sweet-and-sour sauce, and served alongside dauphinoise potatoes and red wine-braised tomatoes (they retain the texture of tomatoes but have an incredibly sweet and fragrant taste)! - And don't forget the creamy, luscious French crème brûlée. Each dish might seem ordinary at first glance, but every bite is a delightful surprise.

Authentic French food in the heart of Soho. It's popular so can get noisy and crowded on weekends so book ahead if you can.

The food was good however there was a very mean and bad mannered waiter. We were asking for him to explain the menu, the first time I didn’t heard it right so I kindly asked him again, then he was aggressive and saying that ‘I have already told you that there is only one entre and one main for each set!!’ And he refused my request to order an extra steak supplement without any reason, saying that only one person can order maximum one main, and refused to give us a starter order. Before my friend came I was trying to order my food first, he refused as well for a reason of I need must to wait for my friend to come?? The manner was so bad that turned me and my friend’s dinner very unpleasant. I hope it’s not a gender or a racial thing, or it will be truly unpleasant and ridiculous,

Pre theatre dinner with 8 friends. Delicious classic bistro style french food, friendly and efficient service. Would definitely go again.

Brilliant food and service, our starters came about 5 or 10 minutes after we ordered them. The mussels were delicious, as well as the confit duck and seabass fillets. The location is great near Leicester Square, Covent Garden and The British Museum. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding and the waiters were very kind, smiley and attentive, always checking if our needs were catered to (such as refilling our water, checking our food was good and asking about anything else we need like new drinks etc.) I would 100% go back and I would recommend to people who wanted a great yet quaint French restaurant.

Great choice for French brasserie in Soho. Dishes were well prepared and presented. Mostly typical menu options. Prices are ok ... could be worse considering the neighbourhood. Reservations are recommended.

Refreshingly reliable. Have been dining here for about 20 years and, while it never truly excites, it never really disappoints either. And sometimes that’s just good enough.

Disappointing food - starter chicken had over half a dozen pieces of gristle. No reaction when I expressed my disappointment- not an offer of replacement or removal of charge. Steak I ordered was not available and alternative was bland and unpalatable. Add to that a time limit on the table and mediocre wine, definitely not worth £70 for one!

We were here for lunch, and the 2-course lunch was less than 20 pounds with gourmet cooking food. Ordered calamari and duck confit, both were delicious. The gnocchi was also amazing. One of our favorite meals while visiting London.

Other than the octopus being a little cold and the banoffee pie needing a bit more biscuit in the base, the service was warm and friendly and the steak great. I could have whinged about the octopus, but it wasn't THAT bad, so I got on with enjoying the company and the food

My husband and I, we found this beautiful hidden little GEM!!! we were greeted so warmly and explaining we don't have o reservation they still welcomed us and found us a table. Our drinks were bought so quickly and we were also given fresh bread and butter. The menu was absolutely gorgeous and we tried to selection ranging from oysters, steak tartar, fish and the ribeye - throughout the dinner the staff were absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was warm buzzing and inviting, my husband and I had such a brilliant time here we could not rage enough about this place and we will definitely be back the service and the food both were just incredible. Thank you for turning our bad evening around and giving us such a wonderful 3rd wedding anniversary dinner. Mourad was a delight.

Very fair price for 2 course set lunch but took one star off because it is ridiculously noisy and tables are packed so close to each other. Good luck hearing your date without shouting if you are sitting across from each other

Passing by this little restaurant outside Tottenham Court Road tube, as you head into the heart of Soho, could be a mistake, as this is a pure Gem! On a very wet weekend in London, we stopped here for an impromptu lunch & to dodge the rain, & what a lovely find it was! Staff are accommodating, friendly & service is swift! Possibly a little too swift, but understandable based on the size of restaurant & the need to turn covers quickly. The food is good, very good & has a good French vibe, although in my view could be more authentic. However the lunchtime offer, Steak & Chips with a decent Peppercorn sauce. Cooked well, & to each of our parties preference, which was great to see. Reasonably priced with a glass of House wine or a soft drink at £19.90. As it was lunch, I opted for the French Onion soup-delicious! Lovely sweet, caramelised onions, with gooey melted French cheese on French bread, in a super base, which had a good flavour, I did feel it lacked the depth of flavour compared to some French Onion Soups I have eaten, but nevertheless, it was decent. Deserts were equally good, & the Tarte Tatin was excellent! However, the £9.50 price point was a tad toppy, but typically London & Soho! Overall, a great spot, not to be passed by and replaced by one of the many, mediocre & lesser restaurant options the deeper you enter into SOHO.

We visited this French restaurant a month ago, with my two friends for a quick set lunch.Food is OK, as you won't expect too much from 20ish set lunch deal.

Can't believe I've been coming to this place for over 20 years, in it's various guises. And the food remains true to the french bistro style. The service was quick and polite, quite unlike real french waiters!

Food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. A little small but it added to the atmosphere! Very reasonable price, would highly recommend.

So the past 30 years my wife & I have been dining in Pierre Victoire restaurants around the country & we were so sad to see the one close down in our local town in Hampshire. So finding this little gem in Soho London we were looking forward to the visit. Met some friends for Lunch & we opted for the two-course menu as there were plenty of choice. First impressions of stepping through the front door the layout looked great & the staff were very warming . Food was amazing & with a perfect ambience & good company made the whole experience of dining at Pierre Victoire a most pleasant one. It will now be our default restaurant to eat at when we're in London town again. Thanks for your service

We only had drinks and dessert but will absolutely be coming back to this wonderful, welcoming restaurant. The cappuccinos I had were extraordinary (although not large) and definitely the tastiest I've had so far, which is saying a lot! Our foursome each had different desserts and, though a bit pricey, they were likely the best examples of each kind that we had all had. My Mousse au Chocolate was probably more close to average than Scott's Banoffee Pie and Will's Tiramisu, both of which were absolutely spectacular and possibly the best of their kind we have had. Amazing, friendly, welcoming, and generous atmosphere - and the toilets were super clean and extremely well turned out!

The food was eatable, though they managed to ruin a steak tartare with a sweet sauce. Beef Bourgogne was ok, not the best I had. All the experience was mediocre and expensive. Don't feel bad if you pass.

This venue was slightly off the hustle and bustle of Soho but a great find. Upon entry you get the Parisienne vibe with the layout, music and table set up. The menu offers reasonable portions and options and the food is flavoursome and well presented. So glad we managed to get a booking here. Would definitely recommend and return!

Had dinner here yesterday. I was expecting a much better experience to be honest. It was very noisy and the tables are squashed together not giving you much space between the next table. The food was very average nothing great. I won't be coming back here.

I’m a major foodie and this place does not disappoint! Food is like Michelin quality and for the 2 course price of 17.90 for lunch and 20.90 for dinner it’s is incredible.

This was our first visit here after many trips to London. Great service and the food was amazing, ribeye steak cooked perfect medium rare, my son loved his brevett steak too. We would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant 🙂

We had such a lovely time at Pierre Victoire. The staff were attentive but also let us take our time, the food was delicious and a really fun atmosphere.

Brilliant ,reliable, reasonable restaurant. We always have a delicious meal, with great service and reasonable wines. Well located in Soho. Good if you are shopping in Oxford Street or going to the theatre in the West End.

Food was decent (7/10) but a bit pricy. I paid £45 for a starter and a main (not steak) with no drinks! I like the atmosphere, good dating vibe and also a good place to catch up with friends service was fast and thoughtful.

All I can say is amazing me and boyfriend come here regularly and that is purely because it's such amazing food. I love cooking myself and when you go to restaurant that is so fantastic where food the ambience is just perfect. Really feel like you are in France. Today had steak tartare beautiful. Staff are so welcoming which just adds to amazing experience. My favourite restaurant in London

Tried the filleted sea bass meal , dauphinios potatoes . It was first class ! Setvice was first class as was the wine .

Pierre Victoire is always good. Buzzy atmosphere - do not expect a romantic dinner, it's noisy and vibrant. Food is good, house wines excellent. Quite French atmosphere and reasonably priced. Book. They are often busy.

I’ve been contemplating writing this review for quite some time now. We’ve been going to this restaurant for some years now. The food has always been great. The prices went in the past couple of years as in all places. Could be a bit better but it’s okay. The deals they have for lunch and dinner are worth visiting for sure! The only negative review I have and it is a serious one is their service! Some of the people there and one waiter in particular, are so unfriendly and they have little idea of what customer service is. I find it difficult sometimes to keep myself calm and it is the only reason I’m seriously considering finding another restaurant in the area. If they read this, I hope they can do something about it.

I went regularly to that place once a month for more than 20 years. I was meeting a friend, she died 3 years ago. And I did not go then. My daughter took me there and the atmosphere was still the same. I love it.

A very busy and bustling local eatery serving great food at great prices. Extensive selection of dishes and drinks with quick efficient service in a lively atmosphere. Been several times and will again - an essential eatery in SoHo where it's so easy to be ripped off, not here tho - superb value for money. Cannot fault the place

Anything but a French restaurant…. The chef has probably never eaten a true boeuf bourguignon in his entire life…. Room downstairs next to the toilets and the open kitchen is VERY noisy…Special 2 courses dinner is before 18:00 😣…not recommended

They were understaffed for how busy they were. The waiter forgot bits and pieces of our order which was understandable as there were only two ppl on the floor and they had a full house. Also very expensive for a bistro. A starter and another starter with fries more + a bottle of house wine £75.

The food was very good but the place was simply too crowded. Seven people seated at a table for 6 next to us meant I bumped elbows with another diner on my right. On my left I kept getting bumped by the wait staff. It was really inappropriate. I won't go back.

Fabulous little bistro .. staff couldn’t do enough to make sure we were enjoying our meal. We were staying nearby for a weekend in London and there are so many places to eat to choose from… so glad we chose this one. Hubby had the steak frites which he said was far better cooked than in some well known steak restaurants… I had the beouf bourguignon which was full of big, tender chunks of beef and was delicious. Wish we had such a fab little bistro near us at home. Wouldn’t hesitate to eat there again if we’re ever back in the area.
