Les 110 De Taillevent in City of London, Westminster

This was one of the best set lunch experiences I have had. The restaurant is ideally situated on Cavendish Square, has very professional staff and plenty of space in a lovely dining room. So often (even in restaurants with Michelin star chefs) one is made to feel a rather inferior customer by having the set lunch but here, the experience was quite the opposite. The choice, although limited to 2 each of starters, mains and desert was of high quality, very special dishes and at £29 for 2 courses represented very good value. We had the langoustine spelt risotto followed by a generous piece of turbot with vegetables. Both of these dishes were so tasty and of a standard that reflects highly on the chef. The real treat was in the extras that were provided - beautiful canapés with edible flowers, very tasty homemade sourdough bread and gorgeous petit fours with our tea & coffee. I have to mention the impressive range (110) of excellent wines available in a couple of glass sizes, I’ve never seen this anywhere else. We had a glass of Jurancon Sec each, which complimented our meal perfectly. The attention to every detail and special food made a very memorable experience, which I will certainly book again.

Do not miss this great restaurant in Mayfair. We had the privilege of celebrating a milestone birthday with 14 friends in their private dining room. It was spectacular. The amazing staff made planning the event easy. Victoria Degrotte, special events coordinator was in frequent contact. A great tasting menu was prepared by Shef Raquel Nowak. Head Sommelier Gosia Zielinska spent an great deal of time and effort to make sure our group, which included some "wine geeks" had a unique experience with exceptional old world wines. Service was attentive but not intrusive. We know you will love Les 110 De Taillevent , their staff, service and food as much as our group did.

Restauran muy lindo, bien decorado, acogedor y elegante. El ambiente era un poco apagado y pocas mesas ocupadas, pero la Calidad de la comida era buena. La carta de vinos era bien extensa y variada, pero con pocas opciones económicas, casi todos los vinos iban de £100 para arriba.

The location and building could not be any better, upon arrival we were greeted and pointed in the direction of our table. The restaurant was really quiet with one table occupied. The food was exceptional and beautifully presented. However the service was not what we expected. Wine left unserved, wrong dishes delivered and missed. The wine list was fantastic no complaints here. The bathrooms had poor detailing a broken toilet seat and very sticky floors. Unusual for a restaurant on Cavendish Square. We would go back but will be a few years time.

Have eaten here a number of times and always given it 5 stars. This time I was in a party of 20 and they did not record my GF request . They got it right eventually but had to wait for GF bread and GF appetizers while everyone else had finished . I find that embarrassing having to then explain to everyone. My wife didn't get her fish main course despite being given a fish knife and had to settle for beef. Wine was not the usual standard.

I went there last night for a private party and I must say I was incredibly impressed by the standard of the food (tenderloin beef-DELICIOUS!), the charm of the staff and, of course, the wonderful wines. Really a very lovely room as well. Certainly worth a visit and, if it's a special occaision, even better.

The service was attentive, careful and considered. The staff were knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. The food is genuinely some of the best I have eaten in the capital. The menu was beautifully balanced and seasonal. Every dish was a joy. The premium wine pairing was very much worth it. There were wines in there which, if purchased as bottles would be worth the cost of the pairing alone. A 2016 Pomerol and 1997 Sauternes were particularly good examples. To finish with a fine chartreuse was a delight (not on pairing ) . All in all, a fine lunch.

Fabulous food, with a brilliant concept of wine drinking. The concept of offering circa 110 wines by the glass is well thought out. Most diners would never drink some of the obscure wines on offer. A brilliant idea. Let's not forget the food, excellent menu, well presented with good service. The quality and taste of food would not be out of place in a Michelin star restaurant - superb.

This was my second time here. I was the first to arrive and was offered the choice of going to the bar or going straight to the table. I chose the bar, and was told if be taken good care of. And so I was. The choice of drinks is as the names says, 110 wines, but the wine list is well organised and clear so it doesn’t feel daunting. My friend arrived and another warm and professional welcome as we were taken to our table. The set menu was concise, but good. We ordered from this, the squid starter being particularly good. Extras came throughout our meal and they added to the enjoyment. We weren’t hurried away, and this made the visit all the more enjoyable. I’m looking forward to a third visit.

Fantastic, excellent birthday lunch celebration with family and family friend. The food was delicious, excellent quality food, very fresh. Superb cooking. Service by our server Guido was superb, very professional, attentive, amiable.. Faultless lunch! Had a wonderful birthday celebration! Thank you so much!

If wine is your life, you have the patience of a Saint and have more money than Croesus then this place is for you. If not, then I can think of 100s of far superior restaurants in London that have a much better atmosphere and more polite staff. Perhaps I am just a cheapskate asking for a recommendation with a budget of 'just' 100 GBP per bottle because I was clearly made to feel like one. And then the time it took for the wine to come and the fact that I had to continually ask for my guests glasses to be re-filled........and the restaurant was only 10% full..... Oh, and the tongue lashing I got for asking for the bottle to be left on the table or an ice bucket to be put beside the table...... the very rudest wine waiter (I am not using the title Sommelier for a reason) I have ever come across! The rest of the staff were excellent but they all seemed afraid of the particular young lady.

First time and never to be visited again. The food portions were small, there was more flowers and decorations on the plate than actual food and it is at best, European, not French. Ironic. Better try Cote down the road which has better French food, better atmosphere and nicer service.

The restaurant was in a fairly nice and calmer part of central london with a nice ambiance. We had the 6 course tasting menu. The food looked good and was presented well enough but was lacking in flavour in some of the main parts and portions were so so small that it was perfect if you were a toddler. The key ingredients like the chicken felt like chicken in texture but had no taste of chicken, not sure how this was achieved. We only really enjoyed two of the 6 courses, the others were a show of creativity and technical ability for playing with food with minimal ingredients with the aim to impress in presentation. No real substitutes or options for allergy to ingredients when requested. The service was good from the waiter, manager and sommelier. Definitely a good wine spot but not really a meal/palette indulging spot for food, there are much better places to eat in London and west end which offer much better options, quality food and value based on what you pay here.

The restaurant is beautiful and the service is great. The reason for my 3 star review lies with the vegetarian options. There are two, fairly uninspired vegetarian main options available - aubergine or artichoke. I ordered the artichoke which was nice, however it also turned out to be the same as the side dish for the steak main dish. The portion size was also similar to the steak side dish. At best, this is extremely unambitious. I’d recommend to put some proper vegetarian options on the menu in their own right which go beyond being the side dish from another meal. Perhaps the aubergine is a unique dish, and admittedly I haven’t tried it, but this day and age a roast aubergine does not come across as an exciting vegetarian option.
