The best restaurants serving Default food in Horsham South East

Delightful pub in the heart of Southwater! Easy to get to and amazing staff. Ansar, the landlord, is very welcoming. Great atmosphere and a large selection of drinks.

This has to be one of the worst Wetherspoons we have ever visited. On entering we were greeted by dirty plates and glassware strewn across almost all of the empty tables. This should've been our warning to go elsewhere. We find one that's not too bad and order drinks using the app. The drinks do not arrive within 20 minutes. One of our party goes to the bar, and a member of staff then makes our drinks for us while we wait. The bar was not busy with customers, so this wait is unacceptable. We then order food and drinks. The drinks take 25 minutes to arrive. The food does not arrive until 50 minutes later, and even then, with items missing. Many customers like us were chasing the handful to staff to see what was going on, but despite their efforts they were unable to help and had no answers. We asked to see a manager but was told they were busy and unlikely to come out. The staff member was clearly stressed and doing their best. The manager never did come out despite us being told they had been notified, which for a company like this is absurd. We left and will be seeking a refund via head office. I cannot recommend strongly enough that you give this place a wide berth until they invest in it properly and resolve these deep management issues.

When I arrived dead on 1pm - today, I expected a queue as it was lunch time. The queue was so long it stopped folk walking to their tables....never mind.....then i was eventually told the kitchen was closed. This notice was stuck on a piece of A4 paper actually at the counter - so all those queuing couldn't see. I managed to order a couple of coffees and saw the sign saying a free cookie (or something like that) with a hot drink. I asked the lady assistant where they were (seeing lots of cakes etc behind the counter for some reason) and was told in an extremely brusqe mannerTHE KITCHEN IS CLOSED - so no cookie, so I asked politely for her to remove the notice. How come we could pay full price for all the cakes and cookies on show IF THE KITCHEN WAS CLOSED. Well done to the young man serving for constantly being spoken to with no respect by his colleague but keeping calm I love Waitrose but your cafe really let's you down

The food was appalling. The kebabs were overcooked and like charcoals , the bags were leaking when we got them home that contained the food . The person serving and cooking was miserable, unfriendly and grumpy. All in all , a terrible experience. Avoid

Terrible service from staff member Diego and I saw him treat 2 other young girls the same as me, extremely miserable, rude and got our drinks wrong.

Just awful. Terrible service, always late, pizza tastes like it’s been hanging around for ages (and it has, you can see that in the pizza tracker on the app). They now charge and unreasonable £2.49 for delivery and also won’t let you collect after a certain time, which makes no sense. If you call up to say your order is wrong, they don’t care, and are reluctant to refund - even if they agree they will say if there’s a slice gone you won’t get a refund. How are you meant to know it’s all bad unless you eat some?! Just overpriced crap. Avoid.

Honestly this place is so useless, order and paid in advance , didn’t get the order , didn’t care , refused to acknowledge any responsibility for their error …:literally just said puss off no refund nothing ….terrible service can’t comment on the food as I didn’t get any!! Can’t believe it’s any good though ….

Never get fully what you order quality isn't always great pot of beans and coleslaw not worth it at all. Always seem to be disappointed

Popped in for lunch when in the garden centre. Food was nice, coffee was not so nice. Cutlery needed sorting through to find clean spoons and forks. Visiting birds leave mess all over chairs and fly in and out of service area. Some customers seem to feed them which does not help the situation. Why not put bird tables outside and encourage people to feed them outside instead. Definately not good. Won't be returning.

It’s great if you love incomplete food. Went to get a family bucket. Got home no chips at all!! One less piece of chicken than advertised - we had 5 not 6. Tried to call but phone ‘busy’ either disconnected or everyone else phoning to complain about the lack of food. Too far to come back and face the drama of parking to get some cold chips. Not happy - but seeing why it’s 2 stars! Had chicken from a local kebab which was just as tasty , cheaper and had all the items promised. Really sad - this used to be a great place. One to avoid now I think ( along with a lot of other people by the looks of it )

This was a journey break and the breakfast was very good and great value for money. The only thing which let it down was the coffee! The filter coffee included with the breakfast was weak as dishwater. The Americano which we received in exchange, was marginally better, still very weak (sorry Stokes Coffee). Food was good though.

Interesting that I am not alone in experiencing the terrible service at this store. Surely Dominos should have a reputation to protect...

Ordered a pizza and sides online, waited an hour for the delivery to arrive. For half an hour it was showing on the app as “quality checking” which tells me it was cooked and sat in the store for half an hour. When it finally arrived; it was cold. Called the store immediately to be told my options were a £10 refund for a meal costing almost £30 or wait another hour for a new one. I spoke to the “manager” who reiterated this. He apparently couldn’t offer a full refund as he had no proof it arrived cold. I asked to speak to somebody further up the food chain than he and he laughed and said the owner doesn’t come in to store and to contact head office. Which I have. Disgusting service, will absolutely not be using again. To top it off I tipped the driver, I’d have been better flushing the cash.
