Babylon grill in Horsham

The food was appalling. The kebabs were overcooked and like charcoals , the bags were leaking when we got them home that contained the food . The person serving and cooking was miserable, unfriendly and grumpy. All in all , a terrible experience. Avoid

Disgusting food - one of the worst kebabs I’ve had. To say it was cooked fresh when I ordered in the shop, it was inedible. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Always ordered from here and had a good delivery and take away, however tonight 1 hour 15 minutes wait, cold food, change of chicken marinade, was a curry flavour, wasn’t great, both me and my husband felt sick, actually my husband was sick afterwards, put us off for future take aways 🤮

It’s both particularly bad here but find the quality and portion sizes lacking over others in the town. If you get the boss then you’ll get good service but the others aren’t always cheery.

Wouldn’t even accept my takeaway even though the establishment was open on Uber eats, think the closing time should be updated.

2 hour wait, phoned and kept saying delivery will be soon. Freezing cold I mean freezing cold. Bowl of weetabix instead

After having a few drinks at home sticking to the lockdown rule as we ease out of it begging of April, I was told to “f*ck off” three times when I asked to order food, having had food before from here prior to the pandemic I was surprised to receive this form of customer service now that I have been treated this way I will never order from here again and woukd not recommend anyone ordering from here unless you want to be told to “f*ck off” when trying to order over £30 worth of food. Very disappointing if anyone in Horsham does want a kebab I recommend ‘The Best’ they are very polite and reasonably priced.

Best kebabs ever, I had XX donna chilli sauce , lovely and hot great chilli sauce friendly staff absolutely love it .

Nicely grilled meat. Kofte, Shia, chicken Shish very nice. Bread a bit insipid. However, the chicken shish (which isn’t advertised as chicken to be fair) is pork belly. You can tell by the layers of fat running though it. Might mean something to Muslims and Jews.

Very poor, I asked for no onions and look at this, lots of onions! Then they refused to serve me a correct order when I let them know where they went wrong.

Ordered some food for delivery, phoned an hour later as I still hadn’t received my food to be told they hadn’t even started cooking it and to wait another 30 minutes or order somewhere else. 45 minutes later we finally got our food to which was nearly cold and half of the potion of chips I had were still cold and hard in the middle. Think I’ll give it a miss next time!

Centre of Horsham, east to find, good menu. Brilliant take way kebabs. On the Bishoprick, parking OK, they also deliver.

I ordered cheesy chips and to my disgust there was a giant bogey on them! Absoultley disgusting. Use a tissue next time you pick your nose or at least eat it

Food was 20minutes late to start. But the big insult was being intimidated on our doorstep to extort an extra delivery charge out of us. We argued to no avail and ended up paying just to get him to leave to which he threatened to add extra charges to our next delivery. As for the actual food- I ordered a chicken kebab and cheesey chip and I can't believe how someone can get this wrong. The chips were soggy and tasteless and the cheese total rubber. The kebab was also tasteless and the salad consisted of a sprinkling of onion. A total waste of money as it only made it to the bin!

Always happy with the service, staff are friendly and get to know you. The portions are generous for the price and the place appears clean and well maintained.

Not a great experience. The staff aren't particularly friendly. The mixed doner was a large amount of"lamb" and not a lot of chicken. Not worth the money and spent the rest of the evening at home drinking gallons of water due to the salt content.

La comida llegó a la casa 45 minutos después de lo que debería haber sido recogido, como cálidos, sudoración y no aptos para el consumo humano. Excusa babylon es que estaban ocupados. Dieron un reembolso completo y regresar la comida.

Pedí un par de veces desde aquí, siempre tiene un problema. Personal son una broma, son groseros, fingir no saber inglés, mirando fijamente a la mujer y tienen absolutamente cero habilidades de servicio al cliente! La comida es en realidad bastante asqueroso, rancio pan pitta pan, carne grasienta y siempre mega goteo de aceite. . . Pero parece que cómo se entiende que los kebabs! ! ! ! Odio desperdiciar comida (y dinero! Pero el suyo es sólo) comestible. Orden de nuevo, nunca se bien y verdaderamente aprendido mi lección ahora!

Excellent kebabs and burgers. All the food I have eaten here has been excellent. The restaurant is clean, the takeaways always hot and freshly cooked.

Casa Babylon fue apresurándose y estaba en el camino, a diferencia de los otros kebab shop que normalmente uso, así que pensé que le daría una oportunidad.

Best kebab shop in Horsham. highly recommend. me and my friend cannot stop coming back to them as it has great food for a great price and the staff are very friendly!

As a kebab lover who has eaten my fair share of kebabs around the world I can honestly this is up there with the best . My preference is donna and they are always succulent ,hot ,chilli sauce is brill most excellent .

Honestly the worst kebab I've ever had. I don't understand how this place can function still, it's filthy in there, the stench as you walk past the air filter round the corner is enough to make you gag.

Perhaps not the most salubrious of establishments but the food is excellent and the portions very generous. We live outside Horsham so stood in the shop while our dinner was cooked. Make sure you check your order, they appear to be busy all the time and don't write anything down so it is incumbent upon you to count your parcels. We'll be returning.

We ordered a meal from here, it was disgusting. chips were undercooked and the worst burgers ever! never again

I am extremely unhappy with this kebab shop frankly I feel like part of a comedy routine because was beyond a joke. Firstly I ordered my food with no issues it all started when the food arrived chips were soggy and tasted like rubber, part of my order wasn't delivered I phoned to see what the issue was to be told while the driver could return with the cans of drink and ice cream that was initially missed off, but even then one of the cans was wrong and the ice cream was the wrong flavour! they wouldn't replace either of our two portions of chips but happily aloud us to pay full price. They said we wouldn't have to pay for them next time but with service like this there won't be a next time. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR GOOD FOOD AND GOOD SERVICE

Every year on Christmas Eve we traditionally order a doner kebab from here, and this year was no exception. As always, the doner kebabs were generously proportioned, with plenty of meat, crisp fresh salad and great homemade chilli sauce. I often see reviews for home delivery that suggest the kebabs were cold on arrival. Obviously if you don't eat it immediately after it has been prepared, the refrigerated salad cools the meat. We pop the meat in the microwave for a minute then reassemble. Delicious with a cold beer!

Allways Beautfull tasting and we'll presented kebabs. Never thrown in box. Always in one peice made with care. Very nice chille sauce.

My fella loves this place and after listening to him going on about it for so long, when we had a power cut at the weekend and had no cooking facilities, we opted for a take-out and this place won the toss. And I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised at the lovely lamb and chicken he brought home with a fresh salad stuffed into a pitta with chilli sauce - a far reach from the kebab I had imagined. Would certainly try here again!

This is a great kebab shop, always has a decent selection, and their salads are better than most, usually there's some red cabbage, which makes a nice change.

Never had a poor takeout from here. But we never have the Doners.Friendly service and meat quality very good.

I am regular Customer of bablyon it is always good. It has been established in 1993 family business i reccomend to every one.

Very disappointed with this take away. I ordered food and waited for delivery for over an hour. 20 minutes after the food was due to arrive I called to find out where it was only to be told that the order had not been accepted although I had recieved a confirmation through just-eat with a time of delivery. They tried to blame just-eat for this, however I contacted customer services and after much persistance found out that they had accepted the order via phone and then changed their mund and failed to inform me. Needless to say, two hungry people and two hours later we were not very impressed.

I'm a regular customer in the Babylon and always get my usual Medium Chicken Shish which is always served at the highest quality. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a nice skewer of chicken served with a smile.

If we fancy a kebab we always go for a Babylon. We have the family meal and it is more than enough for a family of 4 and great value at £18 approx. This includes a mix of all meats, chips, onion rings (ok they sometimes over cook these), pitta bread, houmous (can swap for pudding) salad and a bottle of drink. Nice to build a kebab at home and the meat quality has always been good. The young manager / server is alwsys friendly.

I have brought food there on a few occasions, as have my friends. The food is always tastes good (if you like kebabs and the likes) and the portions are usually pretty healthy, but there doesnt seem to be much customer service (as in they dont really talk to you just take your order and say goodbye) not rude at all but not overly welcoming either. Finally the place could do with a refurb inside and out i have to say the customer bit is dirty enough i hate to think what the kitchens are like its just needs a damn good clean really.
