This was a journey break and the breakfast was very good and great value for money. The only thing which let it down was the coffee! The filter coffee included with the breakfast was weak as dishwater. The Americano which we received in exchange, was marginally better, still very weak (sorry Stokes Coffee). Food was good though.

Was served the saddest looking sandwhich I have ever had. Very cheap sliced bread, barely any filling and the side of chips consisted of just five. Will not be going back this is not value for money.

my husband and i popped in to have a light lunch, firstly the fridges containing the bottled drinks weren’t working, no problem as we were offered ice in our glasses, i ordered egg mayo sandwich my husband ordered a cheese sandwich and asked for the onion marmalade not to be added, the man behind the counter made a real song and dance about it saying it wasn’t possible! i asked if the sandwiches were pre made to which he replied no, why then was it not possible?? we decided to just have drinks and forego lunch as it was all very upsetting, i won’t be coming here again it seemed really silly, whatever happened to the customer being right? we explained that we didn’t want a discount as that seemed to be what the man was saying?? bewildered

This tea room is a little gem. I booked the sweet afternoon tea for my sisters birthday. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Unlimited drinks and a good selection of sandwiches and cakes. We really couldn't eat it all and the waitress boxed up the cakes to take home. All the staff were polite and very helpful and they worked really hard keeping the cafe and outside area clean and tidy. Great value for money . A very enjoyable afternoon treat.

Ordered a pizza and sides online, waited an hour for the delivery to arrive. For half an hour it was showing on the app as “quality checking” which tells me it was cooked and sat in the store for half an hour. When it finally arrived; it was cold. Called the store immediately to be told my options were a £10 refund for a meal costing almost £30 or wait another hour for a new one. I spoke to the “manager” who reiterated this. He apparently couldn’t offer a full refund as he had no proof it arrived cold. I asked to speak to somebody further up the food chain than he and he laughed and said the owner doesn’t come in to store and to contact head office. Which I have. Disgusting service, will absolutely not be using again. To top it off I tipped the driver, I’d have been better flushing the cash.

Just awful. Terrible service, always late, pizza tastes like it’s been hanging around for ages (and it has, you can see that in the pizza tracker on the app). They now charge and unreasonable £2.49 for delivery and also won’t let you collect after a certain time, which makes no sense. If you call up to say your order is wrong, they don’t care, and are reluctant to refund - even if they agree they will say if there’s a slice gone you won’t get a refund. How are you meant to know it’s all bad unless you eat some?! Just overpriced crap. Avoid.
