Lived in Henfield 15 years been using the Chinese last 4 years we enjoy the food here nice delivery staff would recommend

Really bad experience, very salty and curry sauce too thick and gluppy. Expensive too for the quality.. Rice over cooked and dry. Never again.

10 of us ordered a takeaway from here at the weekend and we all were most impressed. The meal arrived within 30 minutes as promised. Friendly delivery guy. Generous portions and really tasty. We will definitely use this restaurant again.

Ordered from menu for home delivery, food was hot, well flavoured and very enjoyable. Had beef with mushroom, chicken udon, duck in pineapple sauce and spring rolls.

Tasted bland and oily, gave me and my boyfriend a bad stomach the next day. Definitely won’t be coming back.

The food- We ordered around £70 worth of food.we got a whole variety of different items as it was a very big order for a lot of people. The food was brilliant, there was no issue (beyond a minor problem) with how it tasted or looked. I myself tried everything but got the chilli beef with Satay Chicken Skewers. The Chilly beef was so nice, I could have eaten another 4 orders of the stuff. The one fault I could find was the Chicken skewers did not have Satay sauce. We did order it and it was on the order receipt. But I got something that didn’t reflect satay sauce at all. I’m not sure if that is what they think is satay or if something got muddled up. Either way, it was a big order so I can easily see a little mix up happening. Funny thing is it still tasted really good, just wasn’t what I ordered. Price- we got loads of food, I think the £70 we spent was worth the quality and amount of food. None of these tiny portions some places try to get away with Service- the service was quick and without fault. From order to delivery it was around 40 mins which is great for this sort of huge order. The delivery driver was polite and friendly. Summary- I’m not sure why there are so many reviews that are very negative, perhaps it varies based on who is cooking on that shift? I’m unsure, I can only discuss my experience. My experience was brilliant, from start to end I was happy with the food and Service. I will be ordering again when next down in Henfield

The most disgusting 🤢 food I have ever tasted , all it tasted of was dirty oil ,if you were blindfolded you wouldn’t even know what you were eating please do not waist your money here it really is revolting 🤮🤮

Ordered £76+ worth of food. Specifically asked for Satay Sauce (peanut butter sauce) specified chunky peanut butter sauce. Got a cheap watery alternative. When I called up to complain. I was told that they don’t do satay sauce with peanut butter and instead they use an out of the jar sauce from the wholesalers and that I didn’t order this. In addition to this they weren’t willing to replace the issue and instead proceeded to tell me to “come down here and I’ll show you how you’re wrong”. Ordered from here many times. Not sure why as always been over priced for below average Chinese. I would suggest ordering elsewhere as competition use fresh ingredients and provide superior service.

We had a very tasty meal of crispy chili beef, special chow mein and crispy duck and free prawn crackers. If we stay here again I'll definitely be using this takeaway.

I bought A for one set meal, there must have been a dozen pork balls, for one person it was far too much so two thirds got binned, I don't like to waste food but had no choice, they could have made it much smaller and lowered the price, the quality of the food wasn't very good either, the battered pork balls were chewy and fatty, not impressed at all

Not ordered since early 2020 n food was good and the delivery boy was lovely but now all it is is greasy grotty food and rude drivers. Would give 0 stars if possible

Been working in Henfield for the last couple of months and have a Chinese every Friday, absolutely delicious everytime, been working my way through the menu. Would definitely recommend the crispy aromatic duck and salt and pepper squid 😍

Worst Chinese I've ever had Oily refried special rice with almost nothing! bland and no flavour, wantons were swimming in oil and the price is a rip off 😠

We all very much enjoyed our Chinese takeaway from London House. We phoned through our order and it was ready to pick up shortly after. It was all hot, fresh and extremely tasty. If we are ever visiting the area again, I would definitely come back. Thank you!

We all enjoyed our takeaway. Phoned in with order and picked it up promptly, can’t fault the food or the service. Was recommended by the Holiday cottages we were staying in locally.

Just ordered £40 worth of takeaway to eat nearly none of it! Awful, bland, slimy noodles and a strange off taste to it all. It’s now 10pm and they’re not answering the phone. I knew right away something was off, even when lifting the noodles from the container to my plate that something wasn’t right!! Wouldn’t recommend. I’ll be going there tomorrow to complain in person.

Ordered on a Tuesday evening and told delivery would be an hour. Rung after 75 minutes to be told the driver had left 15 minutes ago but had 5 deliveries to do. I suggested that might be a challenge whilst keeping all the food warm. Rung again after 85 minutes and first time was just cut off. Second time I got through and politely expressed my concern about our dinner. The staff seem to be unable to differentiate between annoyed and aggressive ("it's not going to be worth eating" isn't aggressive!) . Anyway I was told to get the delivery driver to ring the shop when she arrived and to arrange a discount. When she eventually turned up she refused to ring!!! She was keen to get off to another delivery about 10 minutes away (I dread to think what their meal was like). Anyway I am now £43.30 down for a meal that might have been delicious when it left the shop but was soggy and cold when it arrived. After over 20 years of being a customer I won't go back. Problems happen, I get that, but dreadful customer service from both staff is unforgivable.

One of the worst Chinese takeaways I've ever had and by no means the cheapest. Gave them an extra star as the chicken satay was so dry it doubled up a kindling for the fire.

We have always been really happy with the service and the food. Tastes awesome and is always on time and delivered with a smile We've never had an issue in the two years we've lived here.

Not normally a Chinese lover but had this last night and cant complain at all food was prepared quickly and me and my partner ordered 5 different things to which all was lovely and tasteful. Will definitely use again without a doubt

We thoroughly enjoyed our food - very good Singapore chowmein, great chicken balls - chicken breast inside and crispy on the outside and nice chicken with broccoli and egg fried rice. Really good lockdown treat. Thank you!

Very nice food, super fast delivery and easy to deal with on the phone. Not had anything that we didnt enjoy, special noodles are great, (maybe bit less soy, but thats personal taste)

This is my local takeaway. I’ve always had really nice, tasty food from here. Pleasant service, and never any mistakes with my orders. I’d recommend to a friend. Please ignore other reviews that state that it’s a restaurant, it’s take away service only here - no tables or chairs, no waiters!

We ordered a takeaway for the first time . The service was good but the food was dreadful. Sweet n sour sauce was tasteless and the chicken balls were soft with a doughy batter. The mixed starter was a huge disappointment with dry chewy ribs, nasty little spring rolls ( not quite sure what was in the middle of them ? ) and the seaweed was sparse . We won’t be ordering from here again

We ordered a set meal for 3 on Saturday night. And I must say, the food was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Will definitely order again.

Pretty standard local Chinese takeaway - never had any reason to complain - portions are generous enough, hot, and delivery prompt. good food, albeit in no way exceptional.

First time using this takeaway and very impressed. Ordered king prawn with ginger and spring onions, beef in oyster sauce, sweet and sour chicken and special fried rice. Beef was lean and tender, more than enough chicken balls that were chicken breast, and prawns were succulent. They even delivered. Highly recommended.

Ordered an item of the menu which included rice, but when i got home 20mins drive i had noodles. the next time i went in i proceeded to say what had happened and not even an apology for their mistake, not even an acknowledgement... disappointed

Was with my friends Thomas and Shakira. When ever, where ever you are, don’t go to the restaurant. There hips definitely DO lie.

I think the food is very good here. The people below have the wrong place and no brains because there is no waiter, tables or restaurant here. It is a takeaway.

We have used this Chinese several times and have always found it to be good and consistent it’s take away only and free local delivery is prompt.

Horrid. Mostly inedible. Travel 10 mins further for properly cooked Chinese food.

I have had food from London House at least 10x times in the last year and haven't had any issues until I went in November and ordered Satay Chicken but the sauce was some kind of salty, yellow slime. Now, I will go back as my regular orders of Chilli Beef, Chicken Balls, Rice, Chowmein & Duck (not all at the same time btw) are really good. I can see other people have had the Satay Chicken and have the same opinion as me. But, there are dishes on their menu which are lovely and some of the best Chinese Dishes I've eaten. I would recommend, but AVOID the Satay. (pic below)

Hats of to the delivery drivers braving those dark country lanes to deliver me top quality food. Oh my god. Its so good. Order from this place now. I love it. I'm definitely gonna get one next week and the week after that. Its really good food that makes you feel warm and spicy inside.

Spent £40 here this evening and was so p****d o*f I felt the need to come on here and vent... I was warned it was pretty cr*p, but thought I would give it a go. No exaggeration, the food was awful! Chicken satay starter hadn’t even seen a peanut, was in a weird bland type of gravy. Mixed Hors D’oeuvres was tiny.Practically empty spring rolls. Plum sauce for the duck watery. Told it would be 20 mins, waited more like 40. Phone was ringing pretty much the whole time, being completely ignored. Will never go back... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Not bad. Its fast food take away at the end of the day. Greasy and some quite bland dishes. But decent enough if on a night on the booze

This is probably the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had! Bland and tepid warm, having spent £50, massively disappointed and ridiculously overpriced! It will keep you entertained to play spot the meat in the dishes too!

Please stop using so much food colouring! Food is very tasty but stained our fingers and the children's faces orange.

Yo vivo en la perdiz verde y tengo mi anillo para llevar desde allí. Normalmente es '10 minutos', que es perfecto para mí para llegar allí, pagar y saltar por tener que aguantar el olor glorioso que emite desde la parte delantera hasta que los pies bien llegar a casa!

Used 3 times and the last 2 have been horrible with cold food and the batter on the chicken balls being soggy inside still, the first time we used it it was lovely so used again n not so good so gave benefit of the doubt and used a 3rd time and won't be using a 4th

A unos amigos, así que en vez de cocinar algo decidimos pedir comida para llevar en China local. Todo bien en el teléfono a la orden buena, personal servicial. Bastante caro, pero es el único chino que es local. Así, con un precio que pagar, por lo que esperábamos que poco mejor. Llegó a la orden debidamente dicho 40 minutos. Si bien entre todos 4 Tipo de recogido que nuestro camino a través de nuestra comida y nos pareció bien que no utilicen este lugar de nuevo en una prisa. Hablar de que se hubieran puesto en su lugar para llevar seguridad de tesco.

Had a take out for the first time in ages. A bit apprehensive after not so good experience some while ago, but only Chinese in village. Really pleasant experience. Fast service on a busy Friday night and beef and broccoli stir fry was fab! Thanks!

He tenido unos llevar de esta china pero encontrar la diferencia de sabores de la comida muy similar. Tengo que admitir que es muy eficiente como siempre me Ring a través de un orden y llevan a menos de 20 minutos para tenerlo preparado. La comida es siempre fresca. Respecto a los sabores de la comida son similares, esto podría ser yo prefiero comida India con una gran variación en los sabores.

Así que para todo aquel que disfruta de una comida para llevar chino, esto es exactamente como en cualquier otro lugar chino para llevar: una pequeña selección de dulces y amargos y sabrosos platos en el menú, todo estaba abarrotada de GMS para probar los mismos, aunque con pequeñas variaciones. Pedí una entrega un consistentemente decepcionante, y una opción vegetariana es los rollos de primavera. Así que una cosa, es que la última vez que pedimos la elección antes mencionado, el único vegetal en fue zanahoria. Ahora yo personalmente no tengo nada contra zanahorias, pero cuando me recibe una gran "vegetales mixtos" mermelada de rollo de primavera llena de 1 kg de desmenuzado, hervido zanahoria, yo soy poco probable que quede impresionado. Esta vez, sin embargo, era peor. Resulta que yo soy vegetariano, así que cuando un restaurante afirma que puede atender a eso, esperar un mínimo de comida vegetariana. Quiero decir, todo lo que tienes que hacer es dejar la carne! Pero ooohhh no! Me dieron una enorme » primavera mixta vegetal mermelada de rollo lleno de rodajes de granos esta vez, y cordero. Great food, lots of choice with lots of different flavors. We get a take away at least once month. Worth a try.

The catering here is pizza - mostly very good, although don't bother with the calzone (which was less so). Beer's good.
