Very good service and quick for collections - a tip: don’t order Deliveroo unless you have to - you can save soooooo much by collecting, it’s only ever 20 minutes even on a peak Saturday night. The lady who answers the phone is easy to deal with and polite, definitely worth while collecting. Food is great and I am about to go collect another lovely order for the umpteenth time - yum!

We wanted a good takeaway and they did not let us down!

The king prawns were gone off, they were mixed the apparently fresh vegetables but the taste and smell were just disgusting 🤢.

Charged my deliveroo account £50 did not deliver or receive any food and there was no attempt to reach us, called restaurant could barely speak English passed me on to a manager said they could not send any food do not buy from this place.

Found a black hair in chicken curry on two different occasions, will not order from here again.

My Carer collected Lunch on Wednesday 20th December 2023. The food was aweful my late partner lived in Vale Royal House overlooking Chinatown London, so I know real quality Chinese food!

£24 for chips,chicken balls,egg rice and chow mein and it honestly was the worse chow mein I've had! All in small containers much better value Chinese in Horsham and not so over priced

Food terrible Special fried rice was weird presentation and not tasty. Sweet and sour had no sauce. Was dry. Prawn toast and Springroll acceptable. Never again

The only Chinese takeaway I knew that accepts credit/debit cards. Almost all Chinese takeaways only accept cash.

Ordered from here on Deliveroo. Spent £53 for 2 adults and a toddler. Not enough food. Sizes of plates are incredibly small - king prawn chowmein for £10.30 was not even enough for 1 adult. Also only comes with 2 king prawns. Called to explain situation, to which they said it’s 6. But other 4 prawns must of been lost on route.

We have never had any problems and best Chinese takeaway in the area.

This takeaway used to serve great food with generous portions. Now its expensive and food quality is average.. we just had a quarter crispy duck, which this time had been shredded and in no way was a 1/4 crispy duck, and loads more issues like this. It is a shame. We used to never go anywhere else, but will not be going back here again.. this is the second time we have found a marked drop in quality, increased prices and reduced quantities.

A great takeaway, serving good food... and plenty of it. This place is a regular for us, the kids love the staff (and the fortune cookies! 😊)

Hardly any meat in chow mein yet raising the prices. After querying why only 2 bits of chicken in it last couple of times he said there is always 6. 🤔 Depends on the sizes I suppose. I reckon this Chinese is going down hill. Used to be 5 stars every time, but just recently it's nothing to Bragg about

Expensive on the delivery apps and the quality is mediocre.

Ordered chili and garlic ribs with crab and corn soup with the 'platter of dim sum', ribs were basically reheated and extremely dry, no garlic taste and chili was just put in container. The soup was literally corn soup with crab sticks ripped up and put into it. As for the platter of dim sum, just 6 pieces of dim sum for £9. I wouldn't normally complain at low quality food given the cost was on par, but £27 for those three things and then all being sub par, I wouldn't recommend.

I ordered via Delivero to be delivered and it was the best Chinese we have had !! I rang them first to make a slight change on the set Menu which they did and the BBQ Spare Ribs are sensational!! Thank You Golden Dragon !! Keep it up very happy

nice sweet n sour singapore chicken but needs more sauce

Just had the satay chicken skewers and they were lovely, hubbie had spare ribs also excellent. Definitely recommend and will be back

Cannot fault the service or the food from here. Just make sure you are happy to wait as the order can sometimes take a while to be prepared. Very good food and good value for money.

Absolutely have to leave a 5* review! Just had our first delivery of all vegan goodies and oh my life it was all utterly delicious! Trouble is.... now we’ve found a great vegan takeaway, in Horsham! 💚

Not very tasty, bland mostly especially the Singapore rice noodles. It left both me and my partner feeling a bit unwell and extremely thirsty all night. Basically lost half a nights sleep thanks to buying here.

Great quick service and very happy with our Pork Curry, Chop Suey, Wonton Soup and some cheeky Salt & Pepper chips. Tasty stuff! They only gets 4 stars because I could now do with a nap and I doubt I'll still be awake by the time the football finishes 😉😂

food is good ,but they never tell apart vegan food from non vegan ? why would you offer something you don't know what is it ?

First time ordering from The Golden Dragon today, the food is amazing! I recently ordered Chicken Chow mein and some sweets & sour chicken balls. Lovely coustmer service and they were happy to change my order to 5 chicken balls instead of 10. Will definitely be back soon! :)

crispy duck was far from crispy! soggy and dry and someone must of dropped the whole salt cellar into the Singapore noodles as they were inedible and I normally love salt on my food. Overall I was very disappointed as this was a New Years eve treat

Always a pleasant experience to visit the Golden Dragon Take Away. The food is cooked quickly, is hot and tastes good. The value for money is right up with other Chinese take aways so not cheap, not not expensive either. Free prawn crackers for a medium size order too.

Good food well cooked I would like it to have more spices in it but nice anyway and portions are decent as well.

Hands down best Chinese takeaway in Horsham/Crawley area(from quite few we've tried) . Our go to for last couple of years.

Food quite dry and chicken tough

We’ve ordered their vegan crispy chilli beef and vegan sweet and sour pork balls a few times now and we’ve been pretty happy with them up until today. We had clearly stated for the vegan options and it wasn’t until I took a bite into one of the pork balls to discover it was actually pork. We phoned up and they acted dumb but said they’d make us the vegan dishes, so my partner went to pick it up. We’ve never had an issue with communication before but when my partner tried to request a refund and explain to them that I’m not only vegan I also have quite a severe milk allergy; they didn’t seem to understand how badly this could of gone for someone with an even worse allergy than mine. Like I mentioned, we’ve never had a communication problem with this restaurant before but apparently this time no one really understood what my partner was trying to explain to them. So definitely DO NOT order food from this take away if you have allergies as they’re clearly not taken that seriously.

Affordable Takeaway Chinese, unless someone else is buying. Love the food, get it very regularly, and nice people serving

Tried out the Golden Dragon's new Vegan menu. It was so amazing better than expected. Well worth a visit.

Greasy chow mein. Chicken slippy with greasy and weird texture - not cooked in a wok. Chewy beef. Duck was chewy too, mostly chopped bits of skin rather than pieces of duck. The food was shiny with grease. It’s got to be the worst I’ve had in years. All the family struggled to eat it.

Very bland food no effort in cooking anything nice just run of mill stuff shame but most in Horsham are lazy how they cook

Clearly the person who visited and found that they had to spend more than £10 on a card was blind and should go to specsavers as there is three cash machines available for them to use within a 30 second walk so shouldn't really have anything to complain about should you !!!!!!

In a busy parade of shops average takeaway Chinese food tasty pancake roll and sweet and sour chicken gentleman server was ok but was constantly talking in another language which after awhile was a bit off putting

Good quick service and good food

Have used this takeaway over numerous years and it has changed ownership a few times. The most recent owners are extremely rude and whilst the food is good they have no real understanding of customer service. Dishes are often wrong and when you pay for larger portions they give small portions. This has happened a few times and when asked about it there is no apology and a very rude response. I would avoid if I was you as we won’t be going back there which is a shame.

I can’t really complain about the food here, but as others have mentioned, they like to fill up their dishes with lots of onions and very little of the more expensive ingredients. They have recently changed all their staff and have also decided to increase their menu prices, which is way above average. I could have the same meal in Brighton for £1 less per dish. And the reason for only 2 stars......You have to spend at least £10 before you can use your debit or credit card, otherwise they want CASH. So if you’re on your way home after work and just want a chicken curry with rice, if you aint got the CASH, you’re F££££D. GREEDY. Go the chippy two doors up, they’ll take your card.

This is my go to place and has been for years, I have never been disappointed with their Cantonese style sweet and sour chicken and their salt and pepper chicken. Even if you pop in for a just a portion of chips or prawn crackers staff are friendly and welcoming.

Do you require decent Chinese food? Do you need a shop next door to go to whilst it's cooking to get some beers? This does the job. Vegetable chow mein great, the salt and pepper squid less so (tasteless and rubbery).

Went in last night (Fri 23/2) for a takeaway met by a elderly Chinese woman wearing glasses who was serving. I was a bit surprised to be the only customer as it was peak time on a Friday eve, I was half way placing my order with here and the phone went off , she cut me short of the conservation to take the phone order instead ...... I thought how rude is that ! and said to her "but you were serving me firstly " she dident take to kindly to that ! I really do hope this was a one off and has not been taken over by this stupid arrogant Chinese woman ? Food also wasent up to usual standard.

I had the sigapore fried rice and it was the worsed i have ever tasted . I am not sure what you guys down south like but us from Newcastle expect good food . I would ask your chefs to go north to England and try because you French guys do not have a clue how to cook a good carry out

My experience was simple - male member of staff was rude and had no interest in a customer so I changed my mind and decided not to go there.

One of the best Chinese take aways. Great food and it's well priced compared to others. The staff are friendly and out favourite place to order from.

Been coming here for years and they always provide good food, served with a smile and is always cooked well...they know you if you are a regular and customers seem to stay loyal

This takeaway seems to cook to order at non busy times, you may have to wait a few minutes but its freshly cooked. Some takeaways are swimming in oil but this one isnt too bad.

We stumbled across this chinese recently as we normally order for delivery but so glad we found it. Food is of good quality and really good value. Definitely worth a visit!

So we were short of time and hungry. Had meal c for two.. its did the job but didn't taste of much and the sauce very watery unfortunately. Would we go again probably not there is so much more choice this way. Such a shame really as live local.

We had a takeaway from here on Sunday, I was not very impressed, far to many onions in the curry, the prawn balls also tasted soggy.

This is an excellent Cantonese and Peking food outlet in Roffey. We have been going here for over seven years now, and we thought we should now share it with others. I particularly like the spicy meals like Kung Po Chicken.
