This tea room is a little gem. I booked the sweet afternoon tea for my sisters birthday. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Unlimited drinks and a good selection of sandwiches and cakes. We really couldn't eat it all and the waitress boxed up the cakes to take home. All the staff were polite and very helpful and they worked really hard keeping the cafe and outside area clean and tidy. Great value for money . A very enjoyable afternoon treat.

Staff were friendly, but food was overpriced and barely edible. Two adults and a toddler, we had a chicken 'breast' burger, chips, a ham and cheese toastie and a kid's meal. The total came to £40. They must have a good deal with the local mayonnaise distributor, because the burger was swimming in the stuff. Both the burger and toastie also came with coleslaw. Mayo overkill. The chicken was reformed, in some kind of batter and impossible to eat by hand due to the dose of mayo. The chips were deep fried to within an inch of their lives, and all drinks tepid as the fridge was broken (they did provide ice though). The kid's meal was average but poorly thought through. The cheese sandwiches included were made with doorstrps - making them over an inch thick! Have they *seen* the size of a toddler's mouth? I know a cafe in a garden centre is a captive market, but there is a good pub next door - which is where I shall eat next time.

Stopped here for the great British breakfast £10 & eggs Benedict £10. After a wait, received the not so great breakfast- cheap sausages and greasy bacon & lukewarm eggs Benedict. Not worth the money asked for, will stick to coffee and cake next time!

I had a coronation chicken jacket which turned up quite quickly. There were tiny diced squares of meat in almost no sauce so very dry and chicken tasteless. Served with a little coleslaw which was almost dry with little mayo. Couldn’t finish jacket as was left with half a dry potato. Not worth £8.99

Extremely disappointing, on a quick vist to the garden centre I decided to pick up one their breakfast baps to take away. At £7.99 ( to include 3 breakfast items) I was expecting something reasonably substantial. What I got was an english muffin that was so hard, I had to discard most of it. It contained one small sausagse, one small rasher of bacon and a few tiny button mushrooms. At £7.99 it was a complete rip off.

Just awful. Terrible service, always late, pizza tastes like it’s been hanging around for ages (and it has, you can see that in the pizza tracker on the app). They now charge and unreasonable £2.49 for delivery and also won’t let you collect after a certain time, which makes no sense. If you call up to say your order is wrong, they don’t care, and are reluctant to refund - even if they agree they will say if there’s a slice gone you won’t get a refund. How are you meant to know it’s all bad unless you eat some?! Just overpriced crap. Avoid.

Interesting that I am not alone in experiencing the terrible service at this store. Surely Dominos should have a reputation to protect...

Ordered a pizza and sides online, waited an hour for the delivery to arrive. For half an hour it was showing on the app as “quality checking” which tells me it was cooked and sat in the store for half an hour. When it finally arrived; it was cold. Called the store immediately to be told my options were a £10 refund for a meal costing almost £30 or wait another hour for a new one. I spoke to the “manager” who reiterated this. He apparently couldn’t offer a full refund as he had no proof it arrived cold. I asked to speak to somebody further up the food chain than he and he laughed and said the owner doesn’t come in to store and to contact head office. Which I have. Disgusting service, will absolutely not be using again. To top it off I tipped the driver, I’d have been better flushing the cash.

Met my family here today for coffee and lunch. We were not permitted to sit on one of the three long vacant sofas inside to avoid the rain outside. We therefore decided not to have proper lunch. Sitting outside, one toasted sandwich, two milkshakes, one coffee and tea cost me well over £30. My French is very good but to describe my Cheese and Tomato toasty just in the French language was absolutely ridiculous and PRETENTIOUS. The person who took our order had no sense of humour and could not have cared less. Owners of this place please note, the most important asset a company has is its staff - and yours looked so overworked. I will not be returning to your plush sofas which customers are not allowed to sit on!
