The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Got a takeout on Thursday... was like old food !! ... chicken and squid really chewy like it had been reheated again and again chowmein really greasy we put 80% of it in the bin and made a sandwich ... never again

Super quick service, they estimate 30 minutes but end up delivering to me in 15 minutes. Food is always hot, great portions and tastes really good !

We have been going to this Chinese for years. It's the best around by far. And it delivers to local villages. Never had a bad chinese ever.

Wouldn’t order from here got our order wrong they wanted us to collect it when we paid for delivery and the woman on the phone was extremely rude stay clear from here DO NOT ORDER GO TO ORIENTAL

Good food , and good options to pick from

Terrible meal we had three takeaways two sweet and sour chicken, the chicken and rice were overcooked and a special fried rice which again was overcooked.I gave it one star because I couldn’t give it no stars

This takeaway used to have great dishes. Recently, I had the Singapore vermicelli with extra ginger, and it was very nice. More recently, I had a beef curry with boiled rice. The rice was sticky and congealed into large balls. Quite disappointing compared to the noodles.

Absolutely waste of money dry over cooked chicken balls under cooked chow main taking to many orders over the fone and in person there kitchen can not cope greedy ppl sub standard food

I previously left a 5 star rating, but due to recent service, I'm changing it. I've have made several telephone orders for delivery and had the staff member read back the order. Each time my order gets delivered, there's something missing. It's always a bag of chips or a curry sauce or a portion of rice. This is happening far too often. I have complained about it but get the usual apology. A couple of my friends have said they have noticed this also. I personally think that this is far too coincidental as its always the same thing that's getting missed out. If this takeaway does this often, they're clicking £££s on each customer. My other complaint is that they only accept cash payments. Definitely a fiddle going on. They also don't have a website or app to place an order. I won't be using them again.

The food was average—not bad, but nothing special. However, the delivery experience was unacceptable. My phone died while I was waiting outside for my order, and instead of handling the situation professionally, the delivery driver came to my address shouting and cursing at me. He insulted me, called me names, and even made derogatory comments about needing to go to university. He also used the word "spastic," which is completely inappropriate. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, and no customer should be treated this way. I would not recommend ordering from here unless they address their staff's professionalism and customer service. Update: Today both of us were troughing up, and felt really unwell.

Fantastic food, nice and friendly environment. I can’t recommend a better Chinese in this town, if you are visiting the Swan is definitely a must visit.

Ordered a while ago a few times and didn't order again, ordered recently twice and they've definitely changed the quality 5 stars 👌👌
