Ordered a munchie box last night (Thursday)I should have known better than to order early because I got reheated food from the previous night..absolutely disgusting, meat was rock hard and dry..up at two o’clock with food poisoning off your reheated chicken, do you not realise how dangerous that is, be careful anyone who orders, this place has gone down hill terribly ..absolutely vile

I ordered food last night my chicken satay was half cold I had to heat it up in the microwave I was not impressed the rest of the food was fine

Always have a delivery about once a month. Polite staff on the phone, food excellent, and delivery man especially wonderful!

First time customers, and very impressed, Jane was super chirpy an' chatty, and we love that, bein' Northern Irish and Italian 😃 The food was lovely, and the call back to let us know the food was ready was reeeeally appreciated, even on an evening when they were super busy ! The delivery took over 1 and a half hours. The food was not edible. The spare ribs were so overcooked they were impossible to eat and the chicken in the main courses was hard and dry. Probably the worst Chinese I’ve had in a long time. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Our go-to Chinese takeaway. Food is always fresh and tasty. The service is always friendly and on schedule. Prices are also very good for the quality, especially compared to other similar restaurants in and around Newark-Balderton. Love the menu variety and veggie options, especially the mock duck. But can't beat the old, faithful, egg fried rice and chicken chow mein. Highly recommend.

I have used this establishment a few times in the past and the food is consistent. I had a beef curry and boiled rice which was really tasty. The staff are friendly too. Highly recommended

Just finished my last ever takeaway from the Hong Kong Chef as its Sam and Pauline's last day today after serving great Chinese fare for the last 41 years in Braunton. Wishing you both all the very best for a long and happy retirement and safe travels wherever you go. Best Yeung Chow fried rice since Singapore! Take care, we'll miss you!
