Put comments on about alternatives to food and was told the order note hadn’t come through

Food was so greasy. Chow mien tasteless. Combo starter was dry, prawn toast rock hard and the ribs just had fat on them. Will not order from here again!

it was absolutely lovely....I asked for extra garlic and it made our meal perfect. we love garlic and chilli xxx

noodles taste like chemicals & little spring rolls instead of big 1 cold & only half a tub of curry sauce

Food was not up to par. The chips tasted extremely old and left a nasty taste in our mouth ordered a chop Suey and it didn’t look like a special at all the egg. Few young was extremely below. It had no flavour and it all.

Delivered quickly, piping hot on arrival, tasty and polished off in no time :-)

mixed meat on veg with boiled rice - you dont expect prawns - luckily this time no one was alergic. rest of order was fantastic. always come back

ordered sweetcorn soup but they sent out some prawn cocktail thing instead, which was disappointing as we'd only order 4 items so it shouldn't have been difficult. plus we are vegetarian so having a load of shellfish turn up wasn't very nice. The chips were also dry and old.

Food on time for collection. Chicken Curry was really good tasting, so I will be ordering again soon.

Most of the dishes were pretty good but the king prawn Foo yung smelt and tasted off… wasn’t poor enough to send it back but definitely affected our experience.

We found the duck dish full of fat from the duck and the crispy pancake rolls weren’t full of much flavour

August bank holiday, couldnt be bothered to cook so ordered a take away , what a waste of £30 We ordered a special meat curry with fried rice ,it was watery and there was more mushrooms and onion slices than pieces of meat, very bland tasting. Chefs special , also very watery and bland and more onion than other contents. sweet and sour hongkong style chicken, was okay but nothing great, fried rice was dry almost like it had been precooked and then rewarmed. should have seen the warning signs as when we phoned the order through told it would be 10 minutes, i drove down to collect it and it was ready less than 10 minutes later. you cannot prepare and cook all this in 10 minutes. Cannot reccomend this Chinese, save your money.

food said it had arrived but it never did, we never got a call or anything, we called the restaurant over ten times and there was no answer, please get back to me as soon as possible do we can resolve this issue.

Delivery was excellent food of poor quality far too many large chunks of onion in the curry’s prawn crackers were not fresh they were pre made and sealed so were soggy not a great meal !

I recently moved back to bideford after 11yrs, glad to see the paramount food is still as good as ever

First and last time ordering from here. The chop suey was swimming in can only describe as sewage water, definitely not a chop suey. The chips were undercooked. The Spring rolls had a very disturbing taste so left them along with 3 mouthfuls of the so called chop suey. Suggest the cooks retrain as definitely not Chinese food.

curry sauce spilt all-over my food. The bag was half full with curry sauce delivery driver handed me order and ran away to his car before I could realise my bag and all my food was dripping with spilt curry sauce

Extremely disappointed by our takeaway. Chow mein lacked any flavour, prawn toast came on a bed of lettuce which just made it soggy once delivered, and spent nearly £30 expecting free prawn crackers but didn’t come with any (just eat was trying to charge £3 for an “extra bag”, suggesting one bag was complimentary)! Will go else where in future. Only positive was quick delivery.

super fast delivery, super hot and tasty food

This restaurant only does takeaway and although we have order food from there several times over the years tonight's excelled. Everyone in my family said how good it was. The beef was tender and succulent; the black bean sauce had plenty of beans and a warming kick of fresh chili. The other dishes were similarly well prepared and cooked. Pricing was reasonable.

It's brilliant, it was early. We love paramount and they give a great service. Thank you very much.

The food was delicious and portions sizes good, however I ordered satay chicken skewers and got delivered something else. Other than that it was pretty good.

Delivered mega quick and Piping hot. Everything was great C&S soup, starters, Prawn curry, chips, rice, chow mein. The only things I would say is an option to salt the chips would be useful (we were in a holiday let) and if I pay £42 for a Chinese I kind of expect a bag of Prawn crackers to be thrown in.

Arrived early, delivery person very nice and polite. Food arrived still hot and everything was in order. Food was delicious. Apart from the chips, they were a bit dry but hardly the be all and end all. Rest of the food was so good. Would recommend

The delivery time was between 18.10 & 18.30 was delivered 18.25 so that was fine but the food portions were small and the food was cold and had to be micro waved before we could eat it. WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER TAKEAWAY FROM HERE AGAIN

This was the first time I used this restaurant due to historic reputation from decades ago. The food did not seem fresh and being an early order (B4 6pm) gave us the impression it may have been reheated from the previous day. it arrived in 30 minutes. Crispy beef was soggy as was the coating of the Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken. It was really really bad and most of it went in the bin.

Really nice food delivered to our holiday apartment in a decent time without problem and still piping hot, would recommend set meal H.

Bland food with no flavour, and I have never experienced so much grease in a prawn cracker. Not sure why 2 simple dishes took so long to arrive either.

We had quite a big order, delivered ahead of the scheduled time, piping hot and packed in a box. Food was excellent, could not fault it. Will definitely be ordering from there again.

The app said our food had arrived so we were panicking therefore the app updates need to be better even if it is running late.

Initially told to expect meal at 19.45hrs. It tipped up at 20.30 with no reason given for delay and no apology. Very disappointed.

Very tasty and piping hot. First time I've used them and will certainly order again. The order was slightly late even though I'd pre-ordered but Just Eat/Paramount let us know immediately that there was a delay. Also reasonably priced! Thanks!

We ordered veg chow mein but got given chicken chow mein. Wife can’t eat it 🤷‍♂️

Normally use paramount but have not done so for quite some time . I had family visiting so we decided to have Chinese . It was the worst meal from paramount I have ever had . The duck was tasteless as was the chow mein . I think we only enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken balls , they were lovely . I won’t be keen on ordering from here again after spending nearly £50 - so disappointed.

Delivery wasn't as fast as other Chinese in Bideford. Food was good but not outstanding. Solid option but for me, there are better Chinese in Bideford

Food took ages ocer an hour to to come ordered crispy noodles no crispy noodles soggy noodles service was good just a pity Food was not too good would I recommend this place unfortunately no left half my food no access to toilets for disable persons if wee needed toilets we would have to use the pub next door very poor not the legal requirements are not met for disabled

Our weekly go-to for take away. Delivered much earlier than the app suggested which was a lovely surprise and the food is always really hot and delicious.

Ribs tasted like they where from the day before. Tiny spring rolls obviously bought frozen in bulk. Not really Chinese just pub food

One of the items should’ve been prawn Szechuan and they sent beef and mushroom, so we ate it and it was fine but a far off difference to what we ordered but too hungry to wait for it to be fixed so just ate it

Good tasty Chinese , plenty of meat in the dishes better value than my local , only down side was the prawn crackers were a bit soggy , I liked that the dishes had a bit of spice and were not to sweet
