I couldn't adjust my order to take out veg from the curry so called the shop to which they said they would take them out but still arrived with everything in it

Some of Food was over cooked, very bland, duck was good and chicken balls good, rest was chewy and chow mein even the dog wouldn’t eat.

Favourite Chinese in Bideford, most authentic and consistent. Ordering for 1 is hard, but they have a set menu and always accommodate small changes. 😊

everything was so greasy and saturated with oil . it was horrible. especially the chicken balls and chips all soggy with oil. a slight squeeze of the chicken ball left grease running down my fingers. poor value for money and went in the bun. yuck. sorry if you do order from here defo don't order the chicken balls or chips.

The prawn balls were so greasy they dripped grease when I bit into them and the spare ribs tasted burnt. I only had three dishes, 2 were terrible

I had a chicken chow mein and a mixed starter. There was literally no seasoning or flavouring on the chow mein at all, I don't think they even know what soy sauce is. The mixed starter was tiny and sad, everything looked like it had been cut down to a quarter the normal size. Never using again.

I thought the food was perfect, spot on and delicious. 0 issues here but my friend complained a little that their prawns weren't descaled properly or something but to me that's not an issue, still delicious so I ate em hahaha thank you for the service

Used to like the food from here but just had a disappointing meal. Very watery and bland crispy chilli beef. Prawn crackers tasted a bit weird. Happened to click back on the restaurant info and was shocked to see the ONE star food hygiene rating. Can’t believe allowed on JustEats. Won’t be eating from here again until major improvements on that.

Not satisfied tonight. This takeaway is hit and miss. Tonight it wasn’t great. The chips wasn’t cooked properly and where hard in the middle, i had to refry them. And some bits of chicken in the rice was cold. Mine went in the bin. Wasn’t happy with it

Food was not up to par. The chips tasted extremely old and left a nasty taste in our mouth ordered a chop Suey and it didn’t look like a special at all the egg. Few young was extremely below. It had no flavour and it all.

mixed meat on veg with boiled rice - you dont expect prawns - luckily this time no one was alergic. rest of order was fantastic. always come back

ordered sweetcorn soup but they sent out some prawn cocktail thing instead, which was disappointing as we'd only order 4 items so it shouldn't have been difficult. plus we are vegetarian so having a load of shellfish turn up wasn't very nice. The chips were also dry and old.

Most of the dishes were pretty good but the king prawn Foo yung smelt and tasted off… wasn’t poor enough to send it back but definitely affected our experience.

We found the duck dish full of fat from the duck and the crispy pancake rolls weren’t full of much flavour

August bank holiday, couldnt be bothered to cook so ordered a take away , what a waste of £30 We ordered a special meat curry with fried rice ,it was watery and there was more mushrooms and onion slices than pieces of meat, very bland tasting. Chefs special , also very watery and bland and more onion than other contents. sweet and sour hongkong style chicken, was okay but nothing great, fried rice was dry almost like it had been precooked and then rewarmed. should have seen the warning signs as when we phoned the order through told it would be 10 minutes, i drove down to collect it and it was ready less than 10 minutes later. you cannot prepare and cook all this in 10 minutes. Cannot reccomend this Chinese, save your money.

food said it had arrived but it never did, we never got a call or anything, we called the restaurant over ten times and there was no answer, please get back to me as soon as possible do we can resolve this issue.

Delivery was excellent food of poor quality far too many large chunks of onion in the curry’s prawn crackers were not fresh they were pre made and sealed so were soggy not a great meal !

First and last time ordering from here. The chop suey was swimming in can only describe as sewage water, definitely not a chop suey. The chips were undercooked. The Spring rolls had a very disturbing taste so left them along with 3 mouthfuls of the so called chop suey. Suggest the cooks retrain as definitely not Chinese food.

curry sauce spilt all-over my food. The bag was half full with curry sauce delivery driver handed me order and ran away to his car before I could realise my bag and all my food was dripping with spilt curry sauce

Extremely disappointed by our takeaway. Chow mein lacked any flavour, prawn toast came on a bed of lettuce which just made it soggy once delivered, and spent nearly £30 expecting free prawn crackers but didn’t come with any (just eat was trying to charge £3 for an “extra bag”, suggesting one bag was complimentary)! Will go else where in future. Only positive was quick delivery.

This restaurant only does takeaway and although we have order food from there several times over the years tonight's excelled. Everyone in my family said how good it was. The beef was tender and succulent; the black bean sauce had plenty of beans and a warming kick of fresh chili. The other dishes were similarly well prepared and cooked. Pricing was reasonable.

It's brilliant, it was early. We love paramount and they give a great service. Thank you very much.

Delivered mega quick and Piping hot. Everything was great C&S soup, starters, Prawn curry, chips, rice, chow mein. The only things I would say is an option to salt the chips would be useful (we were in a holiday let) and if I pay £42 for a Chinese I kind of expect a bag of Prawn crackers to be thrown in.

The delivery time was between 18.10 & 18.30 was delivered 18.25 so that was fine but the food portions were small and the food was cold and had to be micro waved before we could eat it. WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER TAKEAWAY FROM HERE AGAIN

This was the first time I used this restaurant due to historic reputation from decades ago. The food did not seem fresh and being an early order (B4 6pm) gave us the impression it may have been reheated from the previous day. it arrived in 30 minutes. Crispy beef was soggy as was the coating of the Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken. It was really really bad and most of it went in the bin.

Really nice food delivered to our holiday apartment in a decent time without problem and still piping hot, would recommend set meal H.

Bland food with no flavour, and I have never experienced so much grease in a prawn cracker. Not sure why 2 simple dishes took so long to arrive either.
