Silverbridge House in Torridge

We had a takeaway last night, and I am a very fussy eater, but this food was incredible . We will never go elsewhere.

It was scrummy grub 12 years ago and still awesome quality today . Cash only though

Absolutely gorgeous food. Everything was hot & tasty. We used this takeaway last year while on holiday & had been looking forward to another meal from there. We were not disappointed!!!! Really reasonable prices too. Fast service. We will visit again next week before going home.

We were on holiday at nearby Fairy Cross and had friends who live in Devon visiting us. So we decided to get a takeaway and chose silver bridge house as we all like Chinese food. The food was delicious with great portion sizes we all thoroughly enjoyed it, so much so that my husband and had another takeaway before we came home. Highly recommended.

Been using this take away for over forty years and love the fresh food that they produce. They accept walk ins or telephone orders. Food always good and service with a smile.

Amazing little takeaway. Cash only. Best food quality of Chinese I've tried in Bideford so far. Bit less choice and smaller portions than others. Would recommend sweet and sour dishes, wouldn't recommend chop suey.

Friendly staff and amazing food!! Never had a bad dish for here! The ribs are the best around, defo need to try this place they only take cash no cards. They do not deliver

The food from here is great. We were on holiday not far from here so I walked in and ordered my favourite "Yung Chow" fried rice and chips. It was busy but I didn't have to wait too long for it to be cooked. Very tasty and would recommend.

Well I have been here before and I was not that impressed, however this evening my order was absolutely fantastic, quick service friendly staff and great food, so far this is definitely the best Chinese in Bideford. I can't wait to sample more of their menu.

Just had a takeaway from Silver Bridge Chinese, absolutely delicious. Had King Prawn s and s., Crispy Beef, Special fried rice and Prawn Cracker. Would recommend them, friendly service and definitely value fot money. Why not give them a try..

You cannot beat this place for Chinese Takeaway. We’ve been using them for over 10 years now and never had a bad meal. What more can I say, brilliant.

Seems very popular with locals but felt a bit middle of the road for me. Slightly bland fried rice dishes and prawn crackers weren’t my favourite (the less dense cheaper style ones). Service was slow (but they were busy). I preferred the restaurant a few doors down, east of the water.

well to start with they dont deliver so i walked all the way over and they dont take card then i take it home and realise it was kids portions so i had to order another Chinese from a different take away just to fill myself up so the night definitely wouldnt even recommend this to a homeless person because he would go hungry

Been a favourite of my family for some time, lovely people, lovely food. Can be a little slow when really busy, but goes for all family owned businesses that deal with the fast food industry when you think about it.

We phone an order through with 45 minutes prior to collection, we got there 5 minutes early, and it took them a further 45 minutes to complete our order. The staff were nowhere to be seen, and the atmosphere you could cut with a knife. When we sat down to eat it at home, i personally found the food to be mediocre, i was bitterly disappointed and will not use them again.

Had to walk out after an hour wait on pre order and still no food. Ended up with dirty keebab on took 10 minutes lol

Used to be a lovely take away.now they close when they choose to . The meals have changed quality. The fried rice soggy chal main watery no taste. curry taste not very nice. Staff are rude answeing phones when im in the middle of ordering my food at the counter.
