Had an awesome delivery from these guys last night. Above standard Chinese takeaway, we have just moved to the area and will now be regulars!

Decent Chinese takeaway with a good range of food. Fast, friendly and efficient service - and would certainly happily use again when I'm next in the area. Even a little place to park outside and plenty of space to sit and wait a few minutes while your order's prepared!

Really good food speedy delivery never been disappointed

Found the food to be good, customer service is okay, good location from the train station for a quick meal. Egg fried rice, squid and crispy beef costed me £16 in total plus prawn crackers

Popped in and ordered. Got told 10 to 15 minutes Which actually took 55 minutes so please don't tell fibs. And why must you spend £10 if you want to pay by card? I've been using this place for years ( not anymore) and this is new, think most of us can guess the reason. When arriving home opened up my food and they must have ran out of shimps and replaced them with I think chicken. Please tell people if your changing something not just assume its OK. It ended up in the bin.

Delious take away food. Delivery sometimes takes a while to be delivered but always tasty and hot- our go to Whitstable Chinese

Ordered today just after opening time, 5pm. Was told it would take about 1 hour by delivery or 30 minutes for collection. Was not in a rush so opted for delivery. Came just after 6pm. Piping hot, full of flavour. I've never had a bad meal from Golden Moon and again, tonight, it was bloody lovely. Thank you.

Nice and clean place with delicious food, worth to visit again

Worst place possible. Full of crawling bugs and maggots and zero customer service. If you want sauce, you better be sure to ask for it. Nothing under 10 pounds on credit card. This place is a joke, and pretty sure it’s infested. Order elsewhere.

Disgusting food and service. Rude staff and dirty premises. This place is dreadful. The exterior is dirty and the garden too.

Please do not get food fron here we had maggots in our food they refused to refund us and said we could have 20% off our next order we was throwing up all night

Absolutely disgusting food. Tasteless. Watery. Probably the worst I’ve ever tasted. Prawn crackers had a hair on it, the fried rice was not fried rice in look or flavour and looked liked boiled rice. Sweet and Sour Prawns was watery, the onion, green pepper was not cooked, a sad raw bit of pineapple the size of my little finger nail is all I got. The special fried rice isn’t special at all it’s unremarkable, the minuscule bits of chicken looks like cut up boiled chicken and along with the shrimp fried rice it was all utterly tasteless and bland looking. The duck in plum sauce was also watery and looked like it was thickened with cornflour. The duck itself was a very small portion and full of fat. I should have known better from the outward appearance of the shop not to stop here. On complaining to them via the phone I was told that their reviews are always good and that people say their food is tasty. I find that extremely hard to believe. Needless to say, the food went straight in the bin!!!

Ordered special fried rice. It looked like boiled rice with a prawn and a few slithers of pale chicken. It was barely warm when handed to me from the kitchen.

Delivery was 20 mins late, phoned Golden Moon and was told "be one second" arrived shortly after phone call, All meals were dried out, cold and chicken tasted like rubber, chips were hard, meal was so disgusting we ended up binning it. Paid good money for a meal that was utter crap. Would not use again and advise future customers to do the same, unless they don,t mind eating dried, cold, rubber textured food.

Ordered a meal last night, and ended up binning it, as it was 20 minuets later than expected due to delivery driver passing address more times than a plane aborts landing in a hurricane storm ! Phoned Golden Moon when it was 20 mins late for delivery and was told "be one second" !! MEAL WAS DRY, COLD, CHICKEN TASTED LIKE RUBBER, CHIPS WERE HARD AND DRYED OUT. I WOULD NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN AND WOULD ADVISE OTHER CUSTOMERS TO DO THE SAME.

Food is good just wish the delivery drivers would wear face masks when entering the the shop as there is a sign on on the door for the customers???

I ordered on Saturday and have had food poisoning sickness and diahrea fever for 48 hrs even now still can't stomach anything never been so ill in my life ,no more Chinese for me ,well disappointed fd poisoning is a horrible experience,frighten me off takeaways for ever now, ideclike to chuck a hand granade in their diahreaj aftertake away the dishreah curry kkkts

Such a shame, ordered sweet and sour chicken ball and chicken was pink in most, rang to complain only to be told some parts of chicken stay pink!!!! I don't think so, was told a delivery driver was coming to pick them up with a refund but got offered another bag, no thanks and won't use again.

I often use this takeaway and have no problems with quality of the food .however I do have problem with the delivery drivers who are constantly in and out of the shop and not wearing face masks even though there is a big sign written on the door telling customers to wear face masks. Come on owners tell your staff to be safe for themselves and for the customers.

Hot, delicious and never greasy! Great Chinese. Our favourite, would recommend. Always friendly on the phone and reasonably priced.

Get your order in early, it's always at least 20 mins late, but food is always piping hot and so good. Allow for a wait and enjoy

Really Disappointed Been using this chinese for a few years now as our last one went downhill. But the last few times have either been so late, food missing, or food awful. Tonight it was over an hour and a half.... every time we rang we were told the same thing... 5-10 minutes. Then when it was delivered i thought the police were knocking! Didnt bother ringing our doorbell, just banged like he was breaking in! Last time il be using this place.

The best place! They really look after you and ensure that you get your food before your train arrives. All the food is delicious but the gravy is a bit sweet. Love this place

Ordered from here and can never fault the food, always hit and very speedy delivery. Lady on counter always remembers certain requirements on dishes.

This was a disappointing meal. The sweet and sour was the worst i can remember and not like when i have used this takeaway before. maybe something just went wrong today but i was left feeling let down. if i had been served that food in a restuarant i would have sent it back but with takeaway there is nothing you can do as yoh have already paid.

I've been using this takeaway for a few years now, always consistent quality food, very polite service and friendly delivery drivers. Also free delivery over £15 (unlike some other Chinese takeaways in the area)

Clean take away, had about 20 minute wait while it was prepared the food was still really hot even after our trip home

We ordered a takeaway from here last night as it was rated the best in our local area. It really did live up to its reviews, such good, fresh, tasty food. 100% recommend!

Good product and customer service

This is not the best Chinese I’ve ever had, but it’s still decent enough. Main thing here is speed...even on a Friday night, probably only waiting 25 mins max. Other weeknights it can be 15 mins for a small order. It’s at the bottom of our road, so we are regulars!

While the meal was delivered in good time, when it arrived and I began to serve it up I found a crane fly in it! They gave a refund but deducted the starter off which I find to be quite unacceptable considering the situation. Sadly I will not be returning but we have ordered with them before and had no problem but this has put me off going here permanently.

The place looks filthy with the hygiene rating to match. Food is non-descript.Have ordered from this place on 2 occasions, once by phone for pick up and once in person - and order was forgotten on both instances. Was told the food would be ready for pick up on the phone in 10 minutes, arrived at the place 15 minutes later to find out they hadn't start cooking it and the wait was going to be a further 15 minutes.On the second occasion, I sat and watched other people who came through the door later walking out with their food before me because the kitchen had *forgotten* my order. The lady who sits at the counter has serious issues with her attitude, never an apology when something goes wrong and will simply hide away behind the kitchen door. Do yourself a favour, don't ruin your night and waste your time with this restaurant and its attitude problem and go somewhere else.

Run down front of house and they proudly display a 3 for hygiene. . . Wished we had clocked that before ordering. Food was just disappointing. Chicken chow mein was fine and if I had just had that would have been pleased but the other meat dishes were undescriptive under/over cooked and tasteless.

Not a bad little take away. Always piping hot and prepared in quick time. Quick and easy, what more can you want?

I ordered number 162 vegetarian Singapore fried rice noodles and number 160 plain chow mein. My first takeaway from this Chinese and I would definitely go back 👍

Good customer service and really tasty food

Don’t get me wrong, the food is not bad it it’s not great either. There are two kinds of Chinese takeaways, the ones that batter the chicken in a Kung Pao and third that don’t - this is the latter and is always going to suffer for that with me! Food wasn’t oily and all very average, just a little disappointing having seen the reviews on JustEat:(

Lovely food very fast home delivery and friendly staff

well , to start the food from this place isn't bad . its not good either, but its not rubbish .. but the customer service falls foul, I ordered food from a menu that totally does not represent what you are getting and I will not be making that mistake again, I called to try and explain that the punctuation used on the menu misrepresented what I was purchasing, I had the phone put down on me. so here I am on trip advisor . as I am a tad peeved .. luckily enough we have 2 other great Chinese take away places out the other few that will be getting my hard earned money in the future :-)

Although not much to look at as a takeaway restaurant the food was served quickly, cooked to order and very tasty. Generous portions. Would recommend it as a good Chinese takeaway .

I was there when they 'cooked' this food. Nothing was prepared freshly. It all came out of the freezer (even the fresh veg a Chinese-style restaurant usually serves in reheated dishes was absent) and the contents of the spring rolls I took delivery of tasted off and the pastry they were wrapped in was so brittle they clearly weren't shallow-fried. The doughy pork/prawn balls I ordered gave the same impression.

Comida promedio esperado por encima de un pub pero era realmente impresionado como era mucho mejor que eso. El papa & leek sopa era fantástico y absolutamente delicioso. Luego tuvimos cerdo, pero no recuerdo el nombre. Estaba muy bien licitación y la salsa era impresionante. Las verduras era fresco.

Had a good meal for 6 of us delivered last weekend. It arrived bang on time and the price was exactly correct, not to mention being incredibly cheap. Most dishes are £5 or less and they don't stint on the portion size.It's fairly basic Chinese cuisine but generous and competently prepared - way above average.They are a bit off the beaten track - not on or near the high street but close to the station. Also no website as far as I can find so it really is passing trade to collect a paper menu.Worth the small effort though as you will get a tasaty and great value meal.Take-away or (free) local delivery only.

We always order from Golden Moon and are yet to have a bad meal! They haven't ever got our order wrong and the food is always lovely! Would recommend over any of the other Chinese's in Whitstable.

The Golden Moon offers quick and reliable delivery and the food is always good. We generally stick to the same dishes and can heartedly reccomend their grilled meat dumplings and Singapore Style Fried Rice Noodles.

Had a takeaway delivered from this place. Firstly I paid over the phone using my card. After giving him the details he thought it would be a smart move to loudly repeat all my details back to me!! Thanks for that!When the food came the chips were not even half cooked. Rock hard. The chicken balls were pink inside. The beef with tomato had a nasty oily residue over it. Waste of money. Try Four Seasons instead. Much better food

My Chinese takeaway of choice. Great value set menu, choose dish wisely, some can be a bit bland. Love the spicy beef and prawn balls. Always quick delivery.
