food wasn't very nice to be honest. first time I've ordered from this chinese and I won't be ordering again. we left so much food because everything wasn't cooked properly or over cooked.

chicken was really nice and soft and price was very reasonable, ordered hot and spicy chicken, chicken curry, kings prawns 2 large special fried rice packed with lots various meats , salted chili chicken, chicken balls plain rice and quick delivery. Will definitely have again.

Nice Chinese tonight but stopped getting the salt and pepper squid as the last two times it’s been inedible.

Food was absolutely delicious but only disappointment was ordered sweet and sour chicken balls and the sauce wasn’t that. Was runny and pink definitely not what it should be. . But apart from that was great

I phoned the place to check where the food was, and the driver hasn't even left tat 21:10 when it was the time it was supposed to arrive. The app also said the food was delivered around 21:09 thought it didn't arrive till later than that.

Usually great, but not tonight. Crispy duck looked like it was swept off the floor. Just crumbs & some tiny bones. Chips were hard & dry. Foxes 🦊 fed well. A lot of money for poor quality. Very disappointed.

The shredded beef was impossible to chew while the other items were wet and soggy. I was excited to try this Chinese but very disappointed.

I always order from New Chows Garden, and the food is always quality. But unfortunately tonight we ordered from them and the food was as poor as it comes. The chips are clearly yesterdays chips, they have a funny colour all over them and they were cold and stale. The rice was ok but the chow mein had a weird chemical after taste. The chicken satay wasn’t even cooked properly, it was pink, chewy and slimy and it’s probably made us very sick as we didn’t realise until we took the first bite and then realised it was not right.

The food was really nice, piping hot and not greasy. The lady at the shop was very nice and friendly. Sadly when we got home the sweet and sauce was missing but after a phone call it was immediately delivered to us. Great customer service.

This is the first Chinese food I have enjoyed since becoming vegetarian, it's been years. The vegan chicken in black bean and the egg fried rice was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

The food quality was absolutely terrible,not up to the standards at all. All the items tasted disgusting,very very disappointing in the food.

last year they were excellent the food was really nice but this year it has been terrible at times . springroll smelt off on last order smell so bad out of date . You need to get back to how you were in 2023

First time I have ordered from here and I am very disappointed with my order! The food was dry and overcooked and also cold! Won’t order from here again!

I have never left a Google review of anything but I had to come here to say that the lady who works here is amazing. We let her know one of us has a severe garlic allergy, which is so rarely taken seriously by anyone, she went above and beyond to ensure no dishes were cross contaminated with garlic. She is so lovely and her manner on the phone is so kind and maternal. Wonderful person, thank you!

This isn't about instore but still a reflection of the company I'm sorry to say. On the Uber eats app there is a chicken dish in the vegan section, the hot and spicy chicken with chilli sauce. I accidentally ordered it thinking it was the vegan Chicken turns out it isn't also when the order came the uber driver sent his daughter I believe not her fault but she asked me for money when the items were already paid on the app.

Please label the vegan food. Make life so much easier and stress free.

The delivery driver needs to read details of how people have paid ! Shouting at me from his car don’t shut the door you need to pay for that is not right and rude !! Then when I told him that I payed by card he said “oh they never tell us how u pay “ which I find rubbish as never had someone shout at me before ! So better customer service from delivery driver would be nice.

Very disappointing. Crispy shredded beef was like chewing shoe leather, as were chips. Food cold too. Eaten from here before and usually much nicer. A shame.

Food wasnt great. Rice was brown and dry, no mention of brown or white rice for reference or i wouldnt have ordered it. Wouldnt order from here again.

We like this restaurant and have used them a lot but tonight was really disappointing in terms of delivery time. The food was so late.

Absolutely dreadful food, worst takeaway I’ve ever had. The hot & sour soup was a weird pink colour and tasted of nothing but vinegar and chemicals. They got my order wrong so ended up with huge balls of greasy batter with nothing inside them and a and the Singapore noodles were all broken and looked like rice. On the plus side the delivery driver though late was charming.

If I could rate this zero I would. The worst chinese I have ever had. Never again, sorry but I have to be honest to save others making the same mistake of wasting money.

While the food arrived in good time and was hot it was unfortunately extremely salty which made the food really horrid,shame as was looking forward to it.Hope the restuarant reads this and can reduce the amount of salt in the food so as not to disappoint any other customers.

Very disappointing meal tonight .weve ordered from New chows garden loads of times as a favorite for us but todays food had been re heated .No crispy batter on chicken balls just soft and soggy and pancake roll sub standard !

Whilst food arrived on time and hot it lacked any real flavour other than overpowering saltiness. The sweet and sour sauce looked radioactive it was so bright - cheap and nasty.

Chips were soggy and not hot but the vegan satay chicken skewers were delicious!

Delivered early, piping hot. Sweet n sour chicken, egg fried rice and chicken chop suey. All nicely cooked. Not the cheapest, but not the dearest either.

Average Chinese food for Herne Bay

This is my go to Chinese but tonight's food was well below what I have come to expect. Not one of their best.

Really lovely food. Hot when it came only criticism was the chips, they weren’t as good as they usually are but 100% order from here again!

Poor quality, dry food and took a long time to arrive was cold most likely due to being 25 mins late. Food was then dried out and old.

We have used you for 20 years and love the food, but tonight was Not the best Chinese food I've had. Special chow mein was very wet and no flavour. The lemon chicken was dry and chewy. The whole meal was just a bit disappointing and not worth £70. We will try again some time and hope it's better.

Chicken chow mein had no spring onions, barely any bean sprouts and the noodles were mushy, certainly not the best I’ve had. Good side - great delivery & food was hot.
