The Peking Palace in Dartford

This Chinese takeaway was recommended to me and so made the 20 minute drive to try the food out. Ultimately, it turned out to be a very reasonably priced Chinese takeaway with speedy service, hot food which was ultimately very tasty! I’ll definitely be back next time!

It was the worst Chinese I’ve ever had in my life. It was like the noodles was cooked in fish water, the chicken cooked behind a radiator. And on top of that it was stone cold, but that could be the driver

Been using for a few years. Unfortunately the prices have crept up which is understandable but last nights meal was cold, particularly the rice. There’s a good choice of other Chinese takeaways in the area - won’t name them but they always arrive hotter. Sorry Peking Palace, it’s been a pleasure 👋

Good food, but do wish the takeaway could be cleaned up. The signage is all dirty and broken, the interior of the takeaway looks dirty and tired. Tidy it up and make it look welcoming and clean. It will increase custom. In response to your question, yes, we order from you most weeks. Like I said, food is good, but shop looks tired and run down, needs some work to make it look better for the local area and cleaner.

I ordered a from this place you can't call it a restaurant because they don't cook food properly Ithe chicken balls was soft and wet with grease and the rice chicken chow mein was cold and the king po chicken was like acid I tried a mouthfuls of each and ws sick 2 minutes later I do t know how people eat this crap let alone say its nice it is awfull waste of money and the attitude of the woman its like they dint want customers

This had to be the most expensive Chinese i have used. Salt & pepper chips £5.50 per portion. Phew!! Egg fried rice £4.50 wow!! Best to check out cheaper restaurant’s

Very fast and tasty food, also not expensive. I love King prawns with fried rice and sweet and sour sauce, my husband loves roast duck chow mein, really a lot of duck meat there. I consider it as a much healthier alternative to burgers and pizza. So if I can't cook and very hungry, this is my first place to get food from.

The food is amazing.The quality is so cool.And they are so nice.And if you think that you hate the food,maybe your taste buds are not acting right.

Food today was burnt and horrible and waited over 50 min in the shop rice was dry and horrible pancake rolls was burnt will never be getting food there again 30 pound chuck away on food as know one has eaten it

Absolutely disgusting food I ate about a couple of spoons of each dish and one chicken ball and it was so rank I was sick within minutes and I paid over 20 quid for that awfull rubbish dint eat here waste of time and money and it's not very clean because it has only a 3 on hygiene it ain't that difficult to get a five just be clean but these can't manage that

Consistently great food, having eaten here many times I can def recommend. Portions are not small but it's impossible to leave some for the next day.

Ordered a few dishes but the chicken chow mein was BLAND , DRY AND HARDLY ANY BLOODY CHICKEN. Soy sauce would be nice as the Chinese love using the stuff. People who praise this hole must need medical help as it’s not the best or in a league above, it’s actually pure crap. As you can see from the pic it’s just dry and nasty

delicious food and friendly staff!

This was by far the best Chinese we've ever ordered. We've always bounced between others in the area but this was a league above the rest. Every dish was flavoursome, cooked to perfection and generously portioned. The salt and pepper chips were divine and the noodles were firm and we'll seasoned which was a refreshing change to the overcooked and bland dishes served elsewhere. Couldn't recommend highly enough, thank you!

Fried rice and prawns were really good

THIS CLEARLY IS NOT THE BEST CHINESE LIKE SOME OF YOU SAY!!!!!! ITS NASTY AND THEY SERVE COLD FOOD . I went in and ordered and after literally 2-3 mins sitting down it was ready. Got home and stone cold so went back for a fresh lot and tried it at the shop and still cold so demanded a refund. The lady behind the counter does get very bulchy and rude!!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. Eventually ordered from yummy in northfleet and you get more for your money and it’s cheaper and it was still steaming on delivery

The WORST customer service and food ever! I’ve never been so disrespected by someone I didn’t know before. Save your money. I called to ask for no pork in one of the orders and she had a fit.

After eating there last week 3 of our party went down with food poisoning. We had all eaten chicken chow mean so it most definitely was that. Its taken me over 2 days to get over it.

I've used the same Chinese getting on for 20 years, have occasionally tried a different ones, but always go back. However, I tried The Peking Palace on Friday and have to say it was the best takeaway I've ever had. Everything was delicious, it's definitely my 'new' usual.

Very nice and tasty meal meal for 4 the food was lovely and hot when delivered and cooked perfectly couldn't be any better now I'm good at testing Chinese food and this was one of the best meals iv had 5 star and 10/10 rating 😋

Placed an order around 6pm Uber eats says 7-7.20 delivery thought I would call around 7.40 for an update but nothing over 100 calls later nothing so tried to cancel as 8.45 was getting late and by then I very hungry then 9pm a knock at the door delivery. Food was ok didn’t quite like the rice being brown rice for egg fried rice would prefer white. But what let it all down was no communication and phone line just saying busy.

Best Chinese takeaway in the area!

Have eaten takeaways for over 20/25 years from this shop and tonight was the most disgusting meal we've ever had !! The meat was so dry and had a definate "off" taste to it I've actually saved some in case we're ill !!! Chicken was so dry I could have grated it. The meat was at least 2/3 days old and the chips must have been cooked last night and refried! Never again !!!

Been using the peking palace in Swanscombe for a few years now and have never left a review to date. This is the best Chinese takeaway you will find, tonight despite ordering quite late on a busy Friday night our large order was prepared in good time and all of the wide variety of ordered dishes were cooked to perfection full of flavour nothing bland nothing nasty just really really good food. Ignore any bad reviews and take our word for it this really is a cracking Chinese

Amazing fried rice and selection of mains and starters.

I have just had a nervous breakdown in the Chinese in stanhope road.. No rules there was lods of people in the shop no social distancing and the person serving without gloves and a mask!!! I will not be going back and the food was very bad!

Ordered a delivery from this restaurant and had to phone up to get items replaced as they were poor quality lacking sauce in the the ribs (bbq hot n spicy ) was different had no onion garlic and chilli in just a spicy sauce asked if the recipe was changed she said no but it was obvious to us it has the special chow main didn't have pork it had ham replacement and just general flavour ordered from here hundreds of times before and when I called up to complain about the replacement dishes all I was told was sorry no refund I will not be using this place again very very very very disappointed.

One of the best Chinese takeaway ever

Read the reviews and just noticed they are almost a year old! After my experience they ‘MUST’ be different owners.... Very disappointed with the meal - Dried up tasteless duck, a pancake roll that was soggy and cold. The worst Chinese I’ve ever had, and such a shame as I was really looking forward to it!

The food was absolutely delicious: The ribs were succulent and flavoursome, the rice was cooked to perfection, the chow mein was made with the perfect mix of succulent meats, smokey noodles and crunchy beansprouts - you could tell that is was cooked in a well-seasoned wok. I can honestly say I was impressed and would certainly use again.

Excellent Chinese take away with large portion sizes and extensive menu. Lots of signs encouraging consumers to communicate allergies if they have them - something lots of businesses do not like to cater for. Polite staff and quick service. Prawn crackers were not the best but other than that enjoyed the meal. Could improve with a delivery service.

I have used this Chinese since I was a kid back in the 80's when it was really nice food, been kind of average since then, but I've just had one from there, and I've got to say it's the worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had, and I'll never eat from there again, I don't know what's changed but something has.

Take away service only. Good value . You do not see food being prepared. Food average. Present and quickservice. Good range of dishes to choose from.

Food was well cooked and hot. Serving was generous and worth the money in quantity. Unfortunately food was bland and needed a lot of seasoning. Had a long wait for a rather ordinary meal. They only take cash, so if you use cards only you will have to go somewhere else. This is take-away only.

Terrible, not only the worst Chinese I have ever had but truly the worst takeaway in years. The duck was so dry that for every piece i consumed 3 pieces of cucumber were needed to stop me from dying of dehydration. Honestly i cannot stress enough how disgusting this meal was and how utterly disappointed i am. 2/10 would not recommend.

The price is truly cheap for all the hard work that they put in to cook such a lovely food. I have tried almost everything in here and I say "they deserve 5 star for sure." Just, why they don't work on Tuesday???? I know they need a day off too but truly it should be open 7 days a week not 6 days only.

Scruffy outside but loads of customers who seem to love it. Very tasty well made food. Excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. Surprised it was so good. Open since 1972 and also very good value. Delighted.

Lovely and delicious food, the duck is amazing. The chicken balls and prawn balls are really nice, the spring rolls are heaven (my opinion) and the seaweed is lovely. It's a take-away only...

Alimentos siempre bueno aquí aparte de el pollo o cerdo pelotas ya que siempre he visto a conseguir olvidado y terminan hecha! Todo lo demás parece estar bien.

Great Chinese Take Away, Gets very busy Saturday night best order before you go. Defiantly the best if you are in the Greenhithe Ingress park area.
