I ordered yesterday it was absolutely disgusting the nuddels soooooo oily I couldn't eat the nudels cold very disappointed

This place make me feel nervous a bit but the food was good!

Wonderful food - everything we were looking for . Had Char Sui with crispy noodles .

Service is the best here! Very attentive. Dimsum is always good. Would recommend the fried prawn dumplings with salad cream. The sauce is different from the other restaurants, its my favourite! There's parking around the restaurant.

By far the best Chinese food I've had outside of London.

Fried rice was very oily, you can see a thick layer of oil at the bottom. Ordered again to see if it was a one off situation, but it was still the same. Disappointing considering that it is more expensive compared to other places.

The Dim sum here is the BEST!! The portions are great, food flavourful and prices amazing. I have sat down to eat and ordered and the quality is always the same, very high!!

For our dim sum fix there is nothing better. I would argue this is just as good (some dishes are even better here) then Chinatown and Yi Ban.

Great to go to for Dim Sum, haven't been for evening meal, but have got takeaway from here, and the quality is great. Lots of classic dishes for dim sum, we definitely prefer to visit Tong Xin to some places in London.

Very good place that serves dim sum. Tasty, bigger and fuller dim sum dishes compare to other places I have been to. Good and speedy services. Good prices. I would recommend reserving a table as it got very busy from 12:30pm. We will return for sure and don’t need to travel far to eat dim sum.

Stopped here for a mid-week meal and was impressed enough to want yo return! Great menu. Lots of interesting options. Everything we ordered came out fast and was tasty! We were the only table so service was great! 😄 But I'll definitely be going back to try some more of their lovely food!

Been a year since I last came to this restaurant. Atmosphere of the restaurant is now very lively and it was full during the lunch hour on Sunday. Most people gathering for dim sum no doubt. Food and service was excellent. The usual waiting for a table, but no different to other Chinese restaurants. We ordered a number of dishes and two stood out compared to other dim sum places I have been. The Thai style chicken feet was a little more spicy and flavoursome and thr bbq pork pastries crust were slightly more crunchy and thr filling a bit more packed. Definitely would come back when I am in the area again.

Went here for some dimsum with family on a Sunday in August at around 1.30pm. We were seen and seated very quickly and, as with any other dimsum, filled in an ordering sheet. We weren't given a menu or drinks menu to start with (perhaps because we looked like regulars), but asked and got it straight away. The food came out very quickly, and piping hot. Very impressed overall by the quality of the food, larger than normal portion sizes and extra flavours and twists on common dimsum dishes. It definitely tasted fresh and made on site. We bought about 30 portions/dishes overall for about £160. Would highly recommend the calamari and cha siu bao buns.

Insider tip - Tongxin opened because the chef in Hutong (in The Shard, one of London's fanciest Chinese restaurants) wanted his own restaurant. The cooking is top quality, better than in Chinatown. Prices are much lower than you usually pay for this quality.

Had lunch at this venue. Inside the venue is quite large. Had 7 various dim sum dishes. The service was excellent and prompt. Very busy from 12pm as we arrived at 11.30am .Reasonable priced food. I would come back here again.

Parked at Acacia car park, a short walk from the restaurant. We arrived at a little past 12 pm (when they opened their doors), and already there were a number of tables occupied. Was sat down quickly by a friendly waiter. Really fresh dim sum. Well cooked in every aspect. Nothing felt stodgy or oily, which is often the case. Generally a good menu, but we felt it was missing the classics, steamed curry squid, and steamed satay whelks, which would have made the menu perfect! Every dish we had though was very satisfying! Would definitely come again even though it is quite far for us. The quality of the dim sum is as good as from any good restaurant you would get in London china town or Hong Kong! Delicious!! Chinese food here is beautiful.

Went yesterday with Chinese friends and I was blown away! I regularly travel to hong kong and Singapore and this as good. Only the Hutong in the Shatd gets close. Cant wait to go back. Rammed with Chinese people says it all. Peter

I absolutely loved the Dim sum here (served until 5pm on weekends and during lunchtime in the week) Everything was great but we especially enjoyed the Siu Mai, Cheung Fun, Turnip cake, char siu buns and egg custard tarts. The staff are very attentive and constantly topping up your tea. We had an absolute feast with a few dishes to take home and it only came to around £50 with drinks. I can't wait to return and work my way through more of the Dim sum menu as well as the full menu.

Had a great lunch here with the family, luckily one of whom is Chinese which helped when ordering lol. Lovely food, prompt service and it looks so much nicer in its new incarnation 🐉😁✅

Food is great, service needs some work. On multiple visits the same waitress has made judgemental comments about the amount of food being ordered. It's rude and unnecessary.

A new local favourite for us, particularly for the dim sum, although all the food we have tried there has been delicious. Especially happy they do wat dan hofun (very well!) which is difficult to find in Chinese restaurants/takeaways outside of central london. The staff are friendly, food is great value for the quality you get and service is efficient aswell!

Food was really good, only thing it took way longer to get our food because they forgot to put our order onto the system but other than that I would go again as it was tasty food!

Really lovely meal in. We've been ordering take out from Tong Xin for several months but decided to eat in tonight and it was superb. Recommend the Dim Sum platter and Tofu in Black Bean Sauce.

This is best Chinese Restaurant in DARTFORD area and you must come here for dim sum and dinner. Parking is very easy and prices are very reasonable and very decent portions. Staff are friendly too! Highly recommended!

Came here for dim sum and food wise there is nothing really to fault. The flavours are good, portions generally generous and price is average for dim sum. The restaurant is clean and bright but nothing to write home about about. The service was good overall, the manager is really friendly and always happy, the food came out quickly and except for a couple of the staff, everyone was nice. If you are craving Chinese food and in the area, this is the place to go.

I've ordered takeaway from this restaurant, I was so impressed with the food that I had to bring my adult son for a treat. The restaurant was quiet in the mid afternoon, the service was so good, I'm disabled, so all the staff were very attentive. As I promised my son, the food was excellent, but better when shared with family and friends around the table. Needless to say, we wanted to taste everything, so ordered way too much and had to take some food home. Which meant I had a few days to relish the flavour. I specifically enjoyed the Dim Sum, there were chunky pieces of prawn and chicken. So delicious.

This is one of the recommended dim sum restaurants in the south. You cannot find fancy dishes like charcoal custard buns and expensive seafood. What they offer are simple, traditional Guangdong dim sum. Deep fried taro dumplings were crispy and the beef honeycomb are my must-have. Of course, Har Gao and Shao Mai are also must-have in a dim sum restaurant. While the dumpling skin of Har Gao was not al dante and the seasoning of Shao Mai was not good enough on the date we visited.

Great restaurant with traditional dim sum. So glad to have one in Kent and not having to drive to docklands! Super busy during the weekends so advisable to book. I have visited on numerous occasions whether it being just a table or 4, or table for 15, the food and service remains consistent. Looking forward to the next visit

Came here last month to grab some lunch while on the way to Bluewater! Good selection of dim sum and other dishes. Dishes are almost the same as what you could usually get in Chinatown but the prices here are slightly cheaper than London. My favorite was definitely the wat tan ho fun, highly recommend this dish! I thought it was very chill in the restaurant, not as cramped or noisy compared to when in a Chinatown restaurant. (Though we did go on a weekday and the restaurant is not as big as a lot of the ones we usually go to in Chinatown.) The service was great! Everyone was really welcoming and friendly. We didn't' have to wait long for the food to come out and it was enough to fill us up.

We went to tongxin restaurant today. We had Dim Sum, which was very fresh, tasty, especially the roast duck and crispy roast pork. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. It’s only this area which has dim sum which was very convenient for us so I would recommend other people to come next time. I’m sure we‘ll become regular customers.

Good quality DimSum & Sichuan food at good prices.

Food was fantastic, however was served a can of coke that had 85p on the can and charged £3 on the bill!! Best to pour the coke before giving the drink over.

Good dim sum that tasted like it was made from scratch in house. The xiaolongbao especially was really good (best I've had outside of a Din Tai Fung). The restaurant is at the end of the pedestrianised high street, but parking is available in nearby shopping centres, we parked at The Priory shopping centre which was a 5 Kim walk away.

Authentic, excellent quality Chinese restaurant. This is comparable to Chinatown in terms of food quality. As its near my elderly mother, we've now eaten here several times as its the best Chinese restaurant in the South East. You're not paying for a fancy fit out or hushed atmosphere. It's all about the hand made dim sum and excellently executed dishes. Their set menu for 8 was fantastic quality and included lobster noodles! Looks like the main customers are Chinese which says a lot! Big, noisy, family style resto and great food.

If they have no chefs or not enough staff to cook they won't let you know. They urged you to come when you book the table and turned out my family and I waited for 2 hours without any food. The restaurant is full of people but with no food on their table. So many elderly have been waiting for food including my diabetes parents, they kept you waiting and kept lying to you that they will be food. They do not care about dignity or your stomach they just want money. Pathetic restaurant and I would never go anymore and would share this to all my friends not to go.

Food quality is as good, if not better than Chinatown London. Easy parking in acacia car park. Best local dim sum place in the area.

Food is authentic and delicious, made well every time- really happy to have roast meats and dim sum so close to home. It's a little bit on the expensive side and quite standard deco, but the staff are lovely. We've dined in, had take out and delivery too. Delivery options are limited, more choices at the restuarant.

First time we've tried this restaurant. Normally head to Chinatown or SE London for dim sum. Good to find a local restaurant that can compete. Food was equal to anything we've had anywhere else. Prices are on a par with London though so don't expect to save money on anything other than a train fare. Good, quick service. Gets very busy on a Sunday so bear that in mind. Overall, would definitely recommend.

A hidden gem inside Dartford (7 mins walk from train station) and close to M25. Here for Saturday night Chinese new year eve dinner gathering. They are famous for Cantonese cuisines. Highly recommended for fresh seafood: sea bass and scallop.

Ex royal china chef so food is top notch. Very convenient if you leave in this part of Kent. Much easier than trying getting to the wharf for royal.china or North Greenwich for what was the peninsula.

Great place for dim sum during lunch times, especially being local. There are a lot of choices for dinner. All were tasty, the roast pork was a highlight.

Yummy dim sum, loads of variety. The staff were very friendly and polite. They had high chairs. Great that they serve dim sum until 4:45, it was fresh and came out piping hot. Would recommend. Parking just 3 mins away - Acacia parking

What a fabulous discovery! We had Sichuan Chicken, Beef with Ho Fun, Shanghai Udon Noodles and Ginger Rice. Big portions with great flavors, not your usual boring Chinese restaurant that everything tastes the same.
