Food was grease and taste less. It's a treat to have take away and I feel like if completely wasted my money

Been with this service for 15 years but never again. Charged alot more then the prices online leaflet they have. Ordered house special chow mein and got charged for that. Received a 'half chow mein' and saying that's what I ordered even though I paid for a house special chow mein. Not even a half special chow mein on the menu. Very rude on the phone saying if I want the house special I would need to pay extra.

We had an order of £95 ish and the food was all so spicy was unable to eat most of it our mouths we're on fire to say the least....put us off eating Chinese for a while and all what we ordered was our usual order we know that each Chinese cooks different but the spice pot was dropped in our for different....

Great take-away! Their chips in gravy is the best. Also the chicken Chinese style chicken is made using the same lovely gravy.

First time of using this Chinese. I ordered special fried rice and when I got home I got plain rice. I paid for special fried rice. Not a good start

Absolutely banger of pork ribs awesome

AVOID - YOU WILL REGRET IT WHEN YOU GET FOOD POISONING!!!!!! They delivered a wrong order, delivering seafood instead of chicken. The person on the phone was extremely rude and asked if we had eaten the seafood (obviously not, otherwise we’d have ordered it) and then proceeded to admit it was there fault but would only deliver the correct dish if we handed over the incorrect order. Of course obliged as we wanted our correct order (2 he’s late by this point) but some unlucky person is now going to be getting a recycled prawn rice which has been sitting at room temp for 2 hours, so good luck when they get food poisoning! Don’t waste your money, you will not regret going elsewhere.

Got to say we have had nice meals in the past,but tonight it was inedible. The rice was grainy. The beef chow mein well where do I start. The noodles were overcooked like they had been reheated and clumped together with the disgusting inpalatible beef. And the chicken curry was runny and bland with chalky feel lumps of chicken. It has put me off Chinese for a while

Food is always great, but is of no use when it still not delivered after more than double the time they say it will be.

Ordered a Chinese meal for 2, it was not as I hoped, particularly the pork balls in batter, very grisly and fatty, so much so we threw them away.. Would not be ordering again.

We order here all the time and the food is always good quality and delivered on time. I think we are lucky that we live just round the corner but cannot understand some of the bad reviews on here.

Absolutely disgusting waited over 2hours for delivery, after 2calls they still not arrived, after 2 and half hour food arrived cold, will never use chun wa again

Great food, best special friedrice is the best I've had, chips are fab with or with out sauce. No complaints at all. I would of shown a picture of the food but is too nice just to look at

The best chinese takeaway in Ashford for me. I tried all the other Chinese food but this was the best one and have been eating since then. They do takeaway and deliver as well. Love it

I haven't been here for a month or so ,popped in to get some pancake rolls ,ordered 1 portion,£2.90 ,the girl said ,I thought was dear but I was hungry so paid ,when they came out ,I was not at all happy ,there were 2 small ,greasy,sad ,skinny rolls looking pathetic in bottom of the bag.I told the girl they were always massive and at least 5/6 inches long,Absolute joke ,won't be going back there again. .I also checked the receipt and they had charged me 10p for a tiny little flimsy bag ,without asking me if I wanted one,I asked for my money back and returned bag which already had a split in ,total rip off ,check your receipts from here if I were you and the quantity ,as a meal for family ends up very expensive.Shame if you run outm

Took my money and didn't send out food

Since the change of ownership this has gone down hill. We was told over the phone that the meal we ordered would be around 20 mins. So we turned and was told it wasn’t quite ready, so we went and brought our other children their food from the Kabab shop(they don’t like Chinese). An hour went by and our food still wasn’t ready. The food we brought from the Kabab was ruined as well. We got our money back and went somewhere else. Thank tho Chun Wah as we have found that kam wah is really nice and do exactly what they say they will do. My advice to anyone going to order from Chun wah is DONT. Go to kam wah instead you won’t be left disappointed.

Don’t usually post such immediate reviews but this warranted such a prompt review , received an order today it arrived extremely fast within twenty minutes...all food apart from the chicken balls was extremely over cooked chips was so hard even the folk was struggling, rice was beyond recovery and chow mien the same This is our usual choice however will be searching around in the future extremely disappointed.

Very tasty food , served piping hot too , great value for money great personal service always order from them . But do check when they really busy ( mistakes can happen , after all we all Human ) They are only to happy to full fill order .

Thin beef slices were pinkish and raw not brown

Good food just need to pay attention to what you order as they can forget some bits, bug no problem with collecting anything they missed

The bbq ribs are nice..but some dishes are not very tasty..ie chop suey! Infact ordered some more dishes recently and they were not very full,..and most were not too impressive either! Wont be going back again unless it improves!

This is the best Chinese takeaway in Ashford with my favourite Singapore fried rise (extra hot!) and king prawns in salt and chili!

Place is great, been eating from it since I was a child. Never had any problems with the food or the service. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Orders are always correct and hot on arrival. ☆☆☆☆☆

Total waste of money i threw away £40 of disgusting smelling and taste . My son's were also in same view . I had to spit some in hand as I was going to throw up. Will never order from them again .I will say it was the chicken with water chestnuts etc. I hope I don't get ill in a few hours.

Really disappointed. Used to be a regular customer but seems to have gone downhill since I last ordered. Forgot part of our order the satay chicken very thin and tough. Food was quite dry. Such a shame.

Have been using this takeaway for over 10 years but tonight I was shocked by the incompetence of how the driver doesn’t carry enough change to be then told by the shop that I have to pay by card or wait another 40 minutes. A joke is an understatement

I use different takeaways for different orders. Ask the food here is good but a particular thing I fancy might be a speciality elsewhere but generally I order here. The chicken curry and curry sauce generally is great, noodles are always yummy and not stodgy. We love the ribs and duck is always perfect. Always found customer service to be spot on.

Been using Chun Wah for roughly last 5-6 years & can genuinely say i've never had bad food from there, be it collected in person or delivered. I think on one occasion something got left off a delivery order but phoned them & they sent it out, one mistake in all those years isn't the end of the world & certainly not enough to stop me using them.

Really, really fast if you go in. Won ton soup is very good, crispy beef also good but a bit sweet. Nice staff. Grilled dumplings unfortunately not good at all

I brought salt chilli king prawns which was served on lettuce instead of onion and green peppers it was also burnt and dripping in fat I was scared to eat the rest of my order as none of it looked very appetizing would not recommend this Chinese absolute crap

OK ILL BE HONEST I WAS SCARED TO USE THIS CHINESE AGAIN.. after the last visit!! But I mean it was so so so tasty tonight!! The best Chinese I’ve most probably had!! It’s so touch and go with most chineses’ but tonight I was proved it was definitely a good touch!! It was lovely!! Balls cooked perfectly not crispy!! Duck chow mien was absolutely delicious!! Egg fried rice wasn’t dry pancake rolls so so so yummy and crispy!! Beef curry to die for!! 21.50 so well spent will definitely be returning!!

Great food great price and they do home delivery. Can't really complain. I have been going to this particular takeaway since moving to Ashford and I found food here tastes slightly better than other takeaways.

Nice meal well priced. Crispy beef was very spicy. Chow mein house special delicious. Only things letting it down was the chicken balls were stodgy batter. We had to peel it off as it wasn't crispy at all. The chicken inside was a huge price of good quality meat however. They just need to improve the batter cooking. It took a while to get to us as we are a bit further out this is acceptable and the delivery cost was very small. The lady on the phone was helpful but forgot to include a minute in the bag which I requested. We will use them again. The food was all tasty.

I didn't like it. The set menu is just bad, really bad. The roast pork fried rice is dry as hell, no veggies, no sauce. I found other Chinese takeaways in Ashford to be much much better.

Lo intentó de nuevo esta noche y pedimos a las 18:10. dijeron a la hora. Persiguieron a las 19:20 dijeron enviado en un taxi a las 18:30. Persiguieron de nuevo a las 19:30. Está en el camino? Me dijeron que es muy concurrido por la noche. . . . . sorpresa! ! Sábado por la noche y ocupado? ? ? ? ¿Cómo hacer que cualquier dinero si no suministro cuando está "ocupado". !

ordered house special chow mein very salty and only had 2 bits of chicken and 2 pork also what i think was spam i can't see what is so special about it no prawns either and bland, also my friends duck chow mein was cold and very salty, also chicken wings very dry, i will never eat from there again.

Hemos usado Chun Wah por alrededor de 6 años, y nunca tuvimos un problema. Pero los cuatro entregas especiales o han sido más tarde que los 45 minutos o elemento incorrecta, o comida no están a la altura de su nivel normal. Pero esta vez era un caos ... Después de una hora me llamó por teléfono y me dijeron que era seguro que el conductor había nuestro pedido, pero ella parecía muy vagos. Nos dieron otros 30 minutos y todavía no había entrega, así que llamó a ser dijeron que el conductor sin duda tenía la orden. Así que en ese momento me harto me anuló la orden. Me pregunto si esto tiene nuevos dueños llevar ya que tiene sin duda ha caído en picado en los últimos seis meses. No va a utilizar otra vez ...

Buena comida. Siempre nos recopilar por entrega tarda demasiado tiempo. Sólo pueden llevar dinero en efectivo, que es bastante frustrante, pero hay un punto de efectivo en una tienda cercana. Normalmente orden 4 o 5 platos y muchas cosas más para el día siguiente. Nunca tuvimos un problema con la comida y nos han estado usando este lugar por unos pocos años. La comida es un poco mejor en ELAM jardín, pero nunca contestan el teléfono!

probado este lugar una vez y no era genial para ser sincero, la comida era bastante aburrido y no está a la altura de la comida para llevar chinos hacia el centro de la ciudad. No se sabe, si no se prueba y no probar este nuevo.

Once a week go there ...Reasonably priced and very generous price for the money.. Try spare ribs with black bean sauce and rice ...perfect combination for dinner for one for under 7 pounds. nice,neat and moreover I always eat here..anybody looking for close to authentic Chinese food..

Wait times on average staff state half hour - Fourty five minutes but on average we have always waited over an hour! Plus you have to pay the delivery charge regardless of how much you spend.Last order was cold on arrival and driver very rude - Fed up of poor service so will no longer be ordering from here!

I have used Chun Wah for years.....if you look at other menus for the same price ...they can not be beaten ......i have never found fault with any menu that i have ordered.....GREAT TASTE....REAL GOOD VALUE.

food is good...however dislike having to pay a delivery charge of 80p..when I am spending £30 +...for my meal....did receive undercooked spicy chicken wings on one occasion...would like to have a free delivery over a certain amount of food?

This is our usual Chinese takeaway in Ashford, the food is always good and there is always loads of it and it's pretty good value for money too.

Great food..excellent crispy beef and a good value set menu..worth a try only issue is they dont take card payments.

I used use it a while agi when it was original management but as soon as new management it turnt bad food is digusting now and service very poor chips were soggy amd cold curry tasted disgusting not impressed i wouldnt reccomend
