Food is amazing! service is shocking. Don’t get half of what you order and lacking communication. Seating is very cramped and overcrowded. Very forgetful.

Will not go anywhere else for our Chinese now. Deliciously tasty food every single time. If you eat in you get the atmosphere and unlimited food straight from the wok, and a takeaway is just as good!

Gluten free no problem. Ordered a takeaway for delivery to a camp site a few miles away, no problems at all. Food was hot when it arrived and very tasty. Delivery driver polite and friendly called me when she was at the campsite entrance. Great meal thank you

Went for a birthday 7 adults 3 children and 1 baby.Ordered starters and 2 sharing platters but they did not bring the other starters out until the platters were eaten it was like they were dictating what we could eat.Staff were rude to a point of being ignorant.The duck was swimming in stale oil when it should be dry for pancakes.I had a bad stomach all night after eating at this place and suggest a food and hygiene check by the local council.

Expensive and terrible. If you enjoy musty rooms and burnt chow mein them give this place a go.

I’ve been eating Chinese food for years now, 20 years, so I’ve tried many different Chinese Restaurants, some brilliant, some OK, but never a restaurant where ginger is not crushed in the recipe. That’s ok, you can still enjoy the food, but the employees are rude. I don’t really care if they have All You can eat for £23, I can eat 2 mixed grill for that price at Wetherspoon at it would be 100 times better.

I'm sorry to say this but I disagree with every bad review .. we love our food and we like good food . We stuck to the best food in ashford and lat week because imperial was over 2 hours wait we went to kam kams and honest read my review .. it was hell. Imperial is the best Chinese in ashford hands down .. don't let anyone tell you different .. tasty .. good choice always before delivery estimation. Sorry for cheating on you imperial .. won't happen again

We used Imperial China for a takeaway last Saturday evening and it was fab. Booked over the phone at lunchtime as was a little worried being Chinese New Year and knew it would be busy in the evening, got through straightaway and ordered for 6.30pm that evening. Very helpful young Lady who took our telephone order and can say it arrived on time , steaming hot and food very very tasty, would definitely use them again for takeaways and will also visit the restaurant.

Absolutely rubbish service, no customer service, sent my delivery to the wrong address even though we have ordered here for the last 5 years, then informed me that I would have to go and get the food from the restaurant or wait another 45 minutes for delivery. Another 15 minute phone call go get a refund! AVOID!

I have always had the most amazing food from here we recommend it to many of our friends. I have never ordered a takeaway from here but decided we would go all out being NYE As we normally order from somewhere slightly cheaper. I understand it must have been extremely busy for them and it arrived in time having pre ordered, however it really wasn't all that very stingy portions I would say some dishes the containers wasnt even half way full, it tasted ok but definitely not the amazing flavours I have experienced from there before.

went with my boyfriend yesterday after shopping at the outlets, lovely staff, food was piping hot £25 pp for unlimited food is great value for money we ordered so much between us and even on a busy night the food came so fast. we’re definitely going to come back

Best Chinese I've ever been too, don't go anywhere else now

We visited last night (Saturday),a group of blokes for a pre Christmas bash. The food was perfect, hot and very well presented. We were very well looked after and all came out very happy and full. Definitely returning in the near future, perfect.

Great Chinese, all you can eat at a reasonable price. Friendly people, loads of options and you order as you go rather than buffet. Food was PIPING hot and fresh. We had the mixed starter, satay prawn, crispy duck, ginger and spring onion prawns, Chinese roast pork and vermicelli Singapore noodles. It was lovely. You would pay a lot more if ordering single dishes.

We went out as a group of 7 , the food was nice but the service was terrible, the young man was lovely and helpful behind the bar , but the lady that was serving us was rude , kept rolling her eyes and was really slow between courses , I’ve been before and service was great but this time very disappointed .

I have eaten here a number of times and always go for the buffet. This is everything on the starters but only one soup crispy duck and then anything from the main coarse I can not eat it all. Just the one price £24.00 00 bargain it is all you can eat.

Cannot fault this restaurant! We've been multiple times now (most recently in August) and the staff are always so friendly, the service is quick and the food all tastes great! It is so nice to be able to order a wide variety of fresh food, and the starters in particular are all just incredibly yummy... For anyone who loves Chinese food, this place is a must!

Sizzling Chicken with Garlic and Spring onion is good in taste and quantity. Food is served quickly and the place is very pleasant for a family dinner.

Reasonably priced & very good food but the service wasn't fantastic waited around 10 minutes To be seated as they were more concerned with getting out take away order's & when finally seated had to really work to be noticed & take my order the restaurant wasn't particularly busy maybe 4 table's but I think the take away side was busy so maybe that's why it took so long to get noticed and served

Had a lovely meal here tonight. It's our 7th Anniversary and we had our first date here too. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious as always. We will be back soon.

Probably the worst chinese food I have ever eaten. That is in 40 years of regularly enjoying some of the best. We ordered a range of starters, virtually none of it was edible. The butterfly prawns were twice, maybe three times cooked. Thought it might get better with the aromatic duck and lamb. Unfortunately not. It was so dry much of it could not be eaten without the risk of breaking teeth. This is the first time I have ever had to leave some. My favourite dish totally destroyed. By this point we gave up. Paid and left. I wasn't going to risk my stomach on anything else. I do not understand the 4 and 5 stars. Unless things are different in Ashford? Will not be returning, anytime ever The one star was for the staff who were polite.

Oh dear …. Not quite sure if there is much positive stuff to say about this place 🤔 …? firstly the ‘positives’ 1. The staff are lovely - very friendly and helpful 2. The food is served quickly! Next … the not so positives 1. The food is pretty dire 2. The food is cold and greasy 3. The food is way overcooked 4. The food has no taste First impressions of the restaurant - it’s like a greasy spoon motorway cafe - tables and chairs crammed into very small space. The food was awful - sorry but it is truly inedible - we definitely won’t ever eat here again

Very nice restaurant good staff lovely food . Decorated in a style you would expect in a Chinese restaurant. Very busy, so would book if you want to ensure you get a table on a Saturday evening. They also offer a take a way service. Prices of drinks are good. A wife range of dishes to choose from. They are able to cater to a large range of health needs too

Depends on who serves you. If you go late they try rush you so they can close the kitchen. Food is really good though!

Service was okay. There to do their hours and go home. Can't complain. However. The food was so damned bland. Everything- and I mean everything- was watered down to the point of almost no flavour. Honestly, the 5 star reviews for this place baffle me. Either they have changed their cooking ways and have added loads of water to their sauces only recently to stretch out their portions; or people leaving reviews haven't tried much different chinese restaurants if they think this place is good... honestly so disappointed, what a waste of money. If you want to fill a gap for all you can eat, go for it. If you actually want to enjoy your food- dont bother. The only decent thing there was the duck- because it wasnt drenched in watery sauce.

Friendly nice staff. Unfortunately the food made everyone Ill. I wished I read reviews first. Our normal Chinese was away on holiday. Next time will definitely wait. wouldn’t order or eat from here ever again don’t fancy being sick for two days again. The food was definitely days old and re heated so many times. I should have took it back

Food was great as always. Service was a bit slow to start with but to be fair the restaurant was full when we arrived for our booking and there only seemed to be two servers. We had a great time though 😃

Lovely Chinese restaurant in Ashford. All you can eat for just under £25 a head. The waitress was a little unimpressed when we wanted to order more dishes from the starter menu.. There were 3 menus to graze through, and the food was of good quality, very tasty. Will definitely visit again for a good value and good quality feast! You can not take any leftovers away with you, and sometimes, the waiters seemed a little grumpy.

Amazing food, all you can eat, so much to choose from, but the good thing is you can order a little then go back for seconds.

It was a lovely atmosphere and wonderful food. It was lovely to be able to choose what you wanted and have smaller portions so you can really get to choose more than one thing. The food was cooked to order and was lovely and hot when it arrived. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be going again.

Lovely albeit expensive meal this evening. Staff were good and they tried to cater for our table of 15. Would definitely go back again. Food was delicious, fair portion sizes and promptly brought out. Feel the price of the all you can eat however is a little on the pricey side at £24.90 a head.

Set lunch menu with two large drinks at less than £40, reasonable value. Mixed cheap starters, Hoi Sin Duck and followed by Fried Rice with three main dishes. Quality was reasonable, although portion size and amount of meat/prawn in the mains was obviously indicating they were made to a low price, but excellent value for the money nevertheless. Service was polite and fast, we were the first customers as we arrived early, but soon 6/7 other tables were filled, mainly by ethnic Chinese, which is always a good sign of quality.

Had to tried order meals on find Christmas Eve but that was not a good idea leaving it late. They was open and had the option to have a seat down meal, that would have been quicker than ordering a takeaway. Lovely group of staff and polite, helpful. They was honest with the waiting times but over delivered with the timings. Food was of good quality and was still warm when started to tuck into the food

Absolutely lovely in here i had the buffet, it’s not a normal buffet we’re you go up to a counter of food.. the food is freshly made to what eat what you want as much as you want!!!! honestly the food was amazing was so full didn’t even get to the main lol definitely recommend and definitely will be back again x

Amazing staff. Food is fresh and delicious. There salt and spicy chicken wings could be more salty. And sadly they have changed there shredded salt and spicy chicken used to be smaller pieces and more flavour. But enjoyed the lunch and will be back again.

Average oily westernised chinese food, certainly not authentic chinese cuisine. Quite expensive for what you get - on a weekend all you can eat + drinks it came around £36 per person. I've had much better meals for that money.

Highly highly recommend me and the husband have ordered previously for a take away but tonight decided to diner in tonight food was spot of we went for the all you can staff very friendly polite and was just what you expect from a restaurant although I now feel I've put a few stone on I sure will be visiting again keep up the good work 👏

Small portion, crispy chicken looks and tastes like fried flour in lots of oil. and very expensive

The prawn balls and grilled dumplings were very over cooked, in fact borderline burnt. The food came quickly which was good but very disappointed with the standard. I also ordered a soup and that was the best tasting item in the order. The prawn balls literally tasted like they had been cooked 3 times and the prawns on the inside were tough!!!

Such a shame this place has gone so badly downhill as it used to be amazing, good value for money and tasty food. But like all greedy business owners the prices have gone up and quality down. The staff are rude and look at you with attitude when you ask for chopsticks or a drink. The squid was inedible and disgusting..chopped up into tiny pieces and incinerated and the rest of the food was bland,greasy and overcooked. Waste of money, won't be going back.

We are on holiday and only found this restaurant by chance as google didn't bring anything up. What an amazing find. The staff are very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Can order as much as you can eat. The food is amazing there. Best buffet food we've had. The food was freshly cooked,full of flavour and good portion sizes. Most you can share they are that big. We are planning to return before our holiday ends, it's that good :). Would definitely recommend if you're in the area. Thank you to the gentleman that looked after us.

I have used this restaurant for a few years and suddenly thought that I have never given them a review !!! Food is fresh and very good but the best bit is they always deliver quicker than they quote which personally I think is great rather than chasing too ask where the delivery is . Good service and a very enjoyable meal

All you can eat buffet with a difference. You order from your table and they just bring the food out. If you want more they bring more. We were a party of 9 but this was no problem the food was of a high standard and the staff were helpful and efficient. There is limited parking in the high street after 6.30pm when the vehicle restrictions are lifted before then the vicarage lane pay and display car park is closest. Looking forward to returning here soon.

Best Chinese in Ashford. Takeaway and eat in. Eating in is an all you can eat that is cooked to order.

5 star for what it is! Chinese buffet but with food cooked fresh to order and every single item we picked was high quality, piping hot and delicious! Can order as much as you like and it’s much nicer that they do it in courses rather than usual buffets where you dump it all on one plate.

Went here for a hen meal over weekend, the food was AMAZING 👏 and the staff were lovely but they were behind with service so took soooo long, but was a great night had by all. 😁

We chose the A La Carte menu as we like the more unusual dishes. The food was excellent and the service was efficient. The Pak Choi in garlic sauce was particularly good.

The place says it offers delivery yet it continues to pick and choose when it can deliver. Laughable

Table of 2- smallest table I’ve ever seen. Was put in between 2 large tables and in the walk way! Asked to be moved, was told no. Said we was leaving and all we got was okay see you later. Over crowded with no social space. Very Unimpressed

AVOID.. Heard good reviews so gave it a try.. but truthfully we were disappointed.. 20 minutes for us to collect was great as delivery takes longer .. food standard was like re cooked and over priced.. Will not bother again

It is my daughters 13th birthday and she asked for the table with the lazy Susan as she loves sitting there so I booked the restaurant in advance for the spinning table. When we arrived we were seated on a long table so I said I specifically booked the round table as it’s my daughters birthday and rudely two waitresses shouted and said no! If it wasn’t my daughters birthday I would have walked out. Then we ordered duck and pancakes and the cucumber was so dry so my husband politely said sorry but could we have some different cucumber. The waitress said it was bought from Tesco this morning and cut when they got back and what did she want us to do about it! Again if it wasn’t my daughters birthday today I would have walked out! Terrible service today when I wanted the day to be perfect for my daughter. Very disappointed

Me and my wife had a meal here on our trip to ashford, there decor and frontage is letting them down and putting some people off . The truth is there food is fantastic and really tasty, everything we had to eat was really good and piping hot . We are down in ashford again very soon and will definitely be having another meal here . Please spend a little money decorating and improving your frontage as I think this will improve on your already great food .
