Steaming hot when arrived and cold once on the plate. Shredded chilly beef was tasteless. Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style was chewy. Only ate 1/4 of the meal. Always been a good go to Chinese, but seems to have gone down hill £24 down the drain

Seven Days Chinese Restaurant is a great place for a delicious, authentic meal The private rooms are perfect for enjoying your meal undisturbed, and the service is attentive and friendly. I randomly asked for Chinese tea during my meal*not sure if it was standard—but they brought out a lovely teapot, ready for me to share with my friend. It’s these thoughtful touches that make dining here such a pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

Ugh! Ordered delivery from here for the first time. Ordered Pork Fried Rice and Chicken Foo Yung. Did not get the Chicken Foo Yung and had to fight with the woman on the phone who claimed her driver did deliver it (he did not). So, we ate the Pork Fried Rice and applied through Deliveroo for the credit on the Chicken Foo Yung. The Pork Fried Rice that we did get had a very vinegary taste that I didn’t find pleasant. Will not be ordering from or going to this restaurant again.

We’ve been loyal customers here for about 8 years. The food has always been fantastic, with a lovely atmosphere, and we’ve never had a complaint – until now. On November 7th, we went to pick up our usual order of duck in plum sauce, salt and pepper fries, noodles, prawn toast, and a few other favorites. When we arrived, the doors were closed for nearly an hour, and we had to wait outside, knocking and calling multiple times before anyone let us in. Many customers which were waiting with us just left. Once opened They mentioned they hadn’t realized the doors were locked, which was surprising. Once we got the food home, the quality was shocking. The duck was burnt and tasted nothing like the usual plum sauce dish we know – we could barely recognize it. The salt and chili fries were undercooked and completely inedible, while the noodles were bland and unseasoned. We’re extremely disappointed, and unfortunately, this experience has ruined the trust we built over years. We might give them one more chance but It’s truly sad to see a place we used to love, fall so far from the standards that kept us loyal all these years.

Had food delivered so cant comment on the atmosphere but will say delivery time was good and arived hot, the batter on sweet and sour balls was nice and crisp but unfortunately the sauce was more sour than sweet, had to scrape it in the bin. The kung po chicken sauce had a similar sour after taste. The chow mein was a nice texture but it was quite salty so im glad i under ordered. Half the prawn crackers were a darker colour and harder. Wont order from here again.
