The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East of England

Terrible food, very bland and tasteless. Caramel chicken tasted the same as sweet and sour chicken, crispy chicken was soggy, and rice very watery. Would not recommend

Worst Chinese ever, inedible and went in the bin.

Absolutely terrible, waited over 1 hour and 50 minutes for delivery. No call to say there was a delay, had to call after 1 hour and 15 minutes to see where the order was. For a place that charges for delivery (£3) and 75p for processing fees using card is diabolical. For 4 items including delivery and processing fee for paying by card it came upto £38.25. Complete rip off and the food was mediocre. Definitely not worth waiting nearly 2 hours for and definitely not worth the price. I don't mind paying for good tasting food and service but this was neither. I would advise to give this a miss and spend your money elsewhere.

When here for my mums birthday as her favourite food is Chinese 100% recommend. We have dined here many times food is always fresh and perfectly cooked staff are always friendly and attentive.

The staff at perl has no costomer service and they don't know how to speak to costomer. On that note I will never spend my money there again.

First time ordering. Every single dish was awful. Dry, chewy, like eating cardboard. Duck was so pink. Spring rolls tasted like they’d been sat on the side for hours and just reheated. None of it tasted fresh. Will never be ordering here again.

Jade Garden has a great menu with a great selection. You are almost spoilt for choice. The staff are great and very friendly. They are brilliant with our daughter who has severe learning difficulties and will adapt the menu for her. We go to Jade Garden on a regular basis and looking forward to another great meal tonight.

I am really quite disappointed by standards of the mandarin, went in and ordered two pots of satay sauce… waiting area filthy no one there to take an order for a start. Overall condition of the building is poor, rubbish flowing out of bins and mess everywhere in the car park. When I got home I pulled out a lovey hair out of my satay sauce short and black which couldn’t of possibly been mine as I don’t have black hair… explains the 1 star food hygiene rating on both of there surprise EHO visits, in most recent years. also explains why they are really quick to shut the kitchen door and ensure it’s kept shut at all times, I’ve even heard one of the chefs shout once to shut the door. Really disappointed and will go else where from now on you guys have really let your standards slip… sad really maybe it should be turned back into a pub

I love eating this food here... the first time I ordered the wrong chicken chow mein she was more than happy to go back and make me a one without extra charges they are very sweet and very kind and always give my children fortune cookies for free I go here every week and i have never had any problems... so with my writing recommendations 100% worth it thank you (darling ) lol
