First time order from kimbolton and wow! Delivery on time, food was hot. This Chinese was amazing everything tastes lovely and good quality. We have tried many Chinese take aways and this was is definitely the best!. We will be returning thank you 😊

Ordered vegetable spring rolls didn’t get those got pork spring rolls…I’m a vegetarian. Also ordered prawn toast just didn’t even get them so that was good.

The have an online ordering system which makes ordering / paying / seeing the menu really easy. Food is good and always friendly service when I collect. Only issue is food is not always ready to collect at the time specified - not a disaster as there is a Premier Shop next door to go and pick up a few items but sometimes it's ready bang on time and sometimes you have to wait 10 to 15 mins in the waiting area.

I ordered at 17.49 and the delivery arrived at 20.15 . Was told the delivery would be about an hour So send the food back

First time visit this Chinese my husband meal was awful and no chips put in our order did not enjoy my meal at all will not be visiting again .

Very happy👍could not fault them apart from having a bit more that is gluten free,lots of people are gluten intolerant and many restaurants still don't cater for them considering that it can be life threatening.

Ordered from them as our usual was closed and we truly regret. Chicken chow mein stinks of dirty pan and tastes bitter , beef in black bean sauce was chewy and there wasn't any sauce really. Wasted over £20 on an awful meal...

I ordered from here for the first time this evening and I am so glad I did! The food is reasonably priced, extremely tasty and it arrived much faster than I expected! I couldn’t recommend this place more!

TAKE AWAY ordered food at 17 20 said it would be 1 hour arrived 20 00 2 hrs 40 mins won't order from here ever again as we should have met friends out at 20.00 totally ruined night ordered early managed to get through at 19.10 after multiple rings to be told they just started cooking it. then the food was cold even though they said they just cooked it stay clear from this Chinese not worth the WAIT WILL NOT BE TRING THE RESTAURANT IF IT HAS ONE

Excellent food including options for vegans. I can recommend the tofu with green peppers in black bean sauce. There can be quite a wait for delivery or collection (a sign that it’s popular). Only dropping a star for the wait taking longer than stated.

First time ordered from here and was very impressed, came quicker than what they said and the food was great, can’t fault it - will use again.

We had yet another great takeaway from here last night. The food is very affordable and delicious. I would highly recommend this Chinese.

I gave them 2 stars, because the ingredients quality had changed dramatically lately. Their squid is unhealthily salty(anchovies-like)? Sourced from where & why so much salt?. The prawns are definitely from the frozen section. It use to be a lot better. Like everybody else, they are feeling the squeeze. Will not eat there anymore.

Lovely freshly cooked food, generous portions, friendly delivery. Would definitely recommend, the hot and spicy soup was so good!

Love, love this Chinese the food is always worth waiting for however, tonight the length of wait was unacceptable. Ordered at 7.30, told it would be 35 minutes - arrived to pick up on time yet still had a 40 minute wait in the freezing cold to be socially distanced! Appreciate they were busy but would have been a good token gesture to have given us a rough estimate of how long we would have to continue to wait or some.prawn crackers! A little more communication would have been appreciated. Like I say fabulous and delicious food just more communication.

After an hour and a half waiting for delivery called through to be told its on its way. 35 minutes later still no delivery so called again only to be told its not cooked yet and no idea when it will be delivered. So left scrambling around at 8pm on a Friday to cook dinner for the family. As previous review, if you can't cope with the quantity of orders employ more staff or decline the orders. Greed over quality and customer service.

waited 4 hours for our food which is not good service..tryed ringing to ask where our food was but could not get through.not even a sorry when it finally arrived and not a discount offered...come on 4 hours is a joke

I have never had any problems in the past , but they need to look to more help on the front desk in bank holidays ,I sat on the phone for 50 mins and I never even got my order taken while people were coming in the shop getting there orders taken it’s just chaos and I wouldn’t advise getting a take away from them on a bank holiday more organised at billy smarts circus

Awful!!! Waited 1 an half hours until I called up and enquired where my delivery was to b told it was gonna be another hour!! So I accepted that, even tho I had kids hungry! Called up again after another hour to b told it was gonna b another hour as they haven’t even started cooking my food!!! So I told them to stick the food, and the women was so rude on the phone as well!! AVOID this place!! There is a lot better take aways around town who are not rude and appropriate the custome!!

£45 was spent and I know they are busy and I expected to wait around 1 1/2 hours. Unfortunately absolutely rubbish delivery order placed on the net as supposedly easier, 2 further phone calls complaining about delivery and it arrived over 3 1/2 hours later with no apologies. Almost a shame the food is so good because this has left me with no choice but to go elsewhere from now on.

My local Chinese and I think I'd struggle for a better one. Never had a bad meal. Great all around service.

Food is good but avoid ordering over the phone. Been messed up twice from last 3 times and we order the same thing. Not sure if they don't understand or they don't want to understand in order to earn more money as they charge for the extra food they give you although you hadn't ordered. Won't be coming back they've just lost a customer.

Yet again issues with this establishment. There is no security for private personal information that they hold, have found that delivery staff are more than happy to divulge private information including address details and descriptions of property, in public places for all to hear. So please beware!

The best chinese takeaway food I've had in Cambridgeshire!

This is our first order from Golden House. We will certainly be ordering again. Food delivered was on time, still hot and very good. Everyone was very happy with their choice. Thank you.

Best Chinese in the St Neots area. Tried all of the others and this is the one to go to. Excellent size portions and the food is fresh.

I ordered a delivery on a quiet Sunday evening but, despite what I was promised it took well over an hour to arrive. They made no attempt to make any goodwill gesture or even apologise but just said it could be due to traffic. That was nonsense. The satay chicken was very dry & had very little sauce too so a BIG disappointment! That was my last order with Golden House. Truly terrible.

Best Chinese food in St Neots & surrounding. I always go collect its super fast in the shop and the staff are lovely. Authentic and not pretentious.

Very nice Chinese always extremely busy at weekends so order early to avoid a wait abit expensive but worth the money dish number chicken 52 yummy!! Also satay sauce yummy!!

The food is great, a nice variety, and the staff are always very friendly. They even helped me out of a tight spot just as they were about to close so I am very grateful. Definitely would recommend to others.

Disgusting takeaway. The service has completely dropped. Not sure who owns it now but the care for your customers is severely lacking. A long time customer who won't be returning again. I politely ordered a MILD curry and tofu dish. The amount of chilli thrown in to a curry I've never even received chilli in before was an obvious attempt to throw two fingers up at my request. I also found a hair! I wouldnt be suprised if that wasnt deliberately placed too! Be weary. In my mind this is exactly the kind of place likely to spit in a customers food if they aren't happy with your order. Never again!

Awful do not order from there.. they have significantly lost the quality... sent back a 28.90 order as was partially raw. Awful experience. Shall not be returning.

I placed an order to the value of £35, after waiting and waiting I eventually contacted golden house this is when we found our order was delivered to the wrong address ( our neighbours) and was assured that a new order would be sent out ASAP. In the meantime we heard the delivery driver collect the order from our neighbour and deliver their correct order. 2 minutes later the said delivery driver knocked on our door with our food..... yes that has been cooked for well over an hour and been on the plates of our neighbours. When I confronted the guy about the fact that the order was meant to be a fresh order and that I believe that this is the original order that is now cold and also been in the hands of someone else. He replied with “erm yep sorry I can’t lie they told me to re-deliver” well I was shocked! I then called the takeaway and spoke to someone there who also confirmed that I didn’t get a fresh order and that it wasn’t plated up at my neighbours house! Well ecsuse me love... it has been cooked now for over an hour and yes it has been plated up as my neighbours are my friends and told me so.... no apology only the offer of a fresh order, REALLY LIKE THE LAST ORDER WAS MEANT TO BE???? no thank you. My advise is to not eat here you don’t know where your food has been!

Pork was sooo dry! It's was hard to swallow. Beef was chewy and again hard to swallow without wanting to gag. The gravy wasn't the best . However the chow mein had a lot of flavour and the chicken balls were good.

By far best Chinese in st Neots.......
